STORY

It was a lovely morning in New
Zealand but Pillar was not there, because
he was riding his horse to Solomon Island.
Earlier Pillar was reading about the
Legend of the Dragon and now he wants
to find the golden sword and defeat that
mean old beast. But all he has got now is
just a map to lead him there. Now for the
time being, he needed to find a place to
rest. Just as he was about settle down...
BOOM!!! A hunter jumped out of a bush
and shot Pillar’s horse!

Pillar ran into the nearby forest to get
away from the hunters. After some time,
making sure he got away he stopped his
long sprint. He needed to find a place to
rest and to make it worst, it was getting
dark. So, Pillar made a small but useful
tent out of sticks, leaves and stones.
Thunder and lightning crackled. Pillar
went to the side of his tent to pluck some
wild berries from the bushes that were
sogging wet. He reluctantly ate the berries.

After eating the berries, he got up and
went outside where he found some twigs
and strings from the ground. Pillar picked
up some stones as well. In a few minutes,
he was able to tie the stone to the stick
using the string and voila he made an axe.

With his new found axe, he cut some
branches of a tree and used it to start a
fire. He took some wild berries from the
plant nearby and cooked them well, it
tasted better after it was cooked... but
still bad. You may be thinking Pillar was
lost, but he actually was not because he
has a map. You see, the real problem was
that he couldn’t find a place to rest.

It was midnight and Pillar was
slumped into his camp. He was rolling
here and there, but just couldn’t sleep.
Finally, after hours of sleepless horror,
he dozed off. He woke up about five a
clock in the morning. After realizing
what a bad night he had, Pillar ran out
of the camp and he spotted a river
leading to the island he was going to.
He saw a little boat by the stream and
so he got into the boat and he rowed
away. After rowing for a while,
CRUNCHH!! the boat was leaking! A
crocodile had bit a part of the boat at
the bottom.

Now Pillar had to swim, so he dived
into the water. After he reached the shore,
Pillar pulled out his wet map from his
pocket to check where he was. But the
map was drenched and torn from the
swim. Pillar was lost for real! He was trying
to put the pieces of map together when…

Suddenly a jaguar emerged out of
nowhere and pounced at him! With a
swing of his axe, Pillar cut the jaguars
head off. Now after walking for a while,
he stepped on a termite mound. He
trampled on most of the termites, but the
remaining termites started crawling all
over his armor. Nearby, there was a little
pond. So, Pillar rushed to the water and
he dived into it until all the termites
drowned! When he was about to get out
of the pond, he spotted a frog. So, he
picked it up and put it in a jar from his
scabbard. So later when he returns to
New Zealand, he can study the specimen.

Now, the only thing Pillar needed to do
is find a place to rest after a long and
tiring day in the wilderness. So, he walked
hoping to find a village nearby. After hours
and hours of walking, he could not find an
empty room to sleep or stay in. Eventually
he found a villager whom he paid to sleep
in his house for four days and three nights.
But pillar just couldn’t sleep, as he
wondered what was upstairs? The man
had told him whatever you do don’t go
upstairs! Pillar wanted to be good but at
the same time he was curious. So, that
night, while the man was sleeping... Pillar
tiptoed upstairs. When he finally reached
to the top, he saw a giant chest.

He opened it and found some maps
inside. It was a map for treasure and also
a map to the Solomon Island. The second
map was what he needed… it’s the map to
treasure which is for another story.
(So, he kept it in his pocket).

He left the villager’s home to continue
his journey. After many days of traveling,
he finally reached Solomon Island! He
went to a nearby country men, and
enquired about the dragon. He told Pillar
that the dragon was in a cave and he also
added how the dragon had terrorized the
people and crushed into the woods.

Now pillar was really angry, he stomped
into the cave. He found a torch which he
thought was a clue but along the way, that
helped him lit the path! Well, it didn’t look
like a clue at first but when he took the
torch to light his way, a huge pile of rocks
crumbled down and when pillar climbed
that mountain of boulders… he saw piles
of treasure! When Pillar took a penny to
study it, suddenly BOOM!!!! the dragon
arose from the ground! And it gave an ear-
piercing roar!! Pillar was shocked that he
dropped the penny and ran for his life.

“HELP!!” called good Pillar as he ran so
fast. He bumped into a stone wall. He
hoped something good would happen and
to his surprise, something did happen. The
stone wall moved aside. Pillar was
astonished, as he ran in the hidden
entrance almost to blind himself. It was
the golden sword!! There he saw it!! It was
shining so brightly even the dragon was
standing still. This was Pillar’s chance. He
jumped onto the rock that the golden
sword was sitting on. He tugged on the
beastly looking weapon until it finally
came out and the dragon on the other
hand took a deep breath and…”
ROARR!!!!”

The dragon spat out a giant fireball and
Pillar deflected it with the shining sword
and a great battle ensured. Finally, after
hours of fighting, Pillar reached out for his
bow and arrow. He shot the arrow so fast
that people say such an arrow hadn’t been
shot before! It crashed straight into the
dragons’ throat and the dragon crashed
down the floor.

But the dragon was not dead. Pillar
took the sword and stabbed it right into
the dragon’s heart. Pillar pulled the sword
out of the lifeless creature and put it into
his scabbard.

But before Pillar left, he wanted to
explore the place. So, he moved on and
soon Pillar found a sign saying ‘press this
rock’ where stood a shiny rock! Pillar was
suspicious, so he didn’t push it. But the
frog in pillar’s jar that was tugged in his
scabbard had escaped. It bounced onto
the rock. Pillar tried to catch it but the
creature was too fast. Suddenly a pile of
rocks came tumbling down. It was an
avalanche of rocks.

Pillar ran for his life leaving the frog
behind. He ran out of the cave as fast as
he could and the entrance was blocked
behind him. He was lucky to have taken a
rock before barraging out of the cave.
Pillar managed to pick a strange looking
rock.

All of the people in the village hailed
Pillar as the hero. And then something
slipped from his pocket (it was the map to
treasure). He quickly stood to feet and
grabbed the map. The villagers waved
goodbye and Pillar was off. Pillar made
many pitstops along his way home. Once
he slept in a town for a day. The man in
the house tried to steal the sword but
Pillar caught him doing so. In return, the
man had to give back all the money that
Pillar had spent to live in that house.

When pillar finally made it back to New
Zealand, everyone in town cheered and
congratulated him! As people carried him
around the town celebrating his return,
the strange looking rock fell from his
pocket. BOOOOOOOMMM there was a
giant roar!!!! The stone had unleashed a
monster and everyone ran, it spewed fire
balls everywhere and Pillar…
