PART 1 (3-4 MINS)- GENERAL QUESTIONS (4 questions for each candidate)
Phase 1:
1.What’s your name?
2. Where do you live?
3. How do you come to school?
Phase 2:
Daily routine.
1. What do you normally do after you wake up
2. What do you usually do after coming back to school?
3. How do you spend your leisure time?
4. What do you do on weekends?

Part 2 : (3-4 mins) – 1 question for each candidate
(to give opinion)

• Each candidate is given a different topic to talk about.

Eg:

Candidate A : Family celebration

*Candidate A has 20 seconds to think about what he/she is going to say and 1 min to talk
about it.

* The interlocutor asks Candidate B about the same topic and he/she is given 20 seconds to
give opinions.

Candidate B: A person you admire

• Candidate B has 20 seconds to think about what he/she is going to say and 1 min to talk
about it.

• The interlocutor asks Candidate A about the same topic and he/she is given 20 seconds
to give opinions.

Part 3 (4-5 minutes)- 3 questions for each student
(to discuss and make decision)

• Both candidate will have a same topic. (eg: Online shopping)
• Candidates are given 3 minutes to talk about the topic.
Both are given 20 seconds to prepare after the question is read by the
interlocutor.
First Part: Both will discuss the topic with each other for about 2
minutes.
Second Part: Both will have 1 minute to make a decision together.
