About the Author

Dr. David Ferguson and his wife Teresa lead a multi-disciplinary
team of trainers and professional associates sharing a message of
relational health and relevance in a variety of organizations, business
and faith-community settings. With a simple focus on loving God
and others well, the Great Commandment Network serves more
than 40,000 churches in the US and abroad with leader-care, training
and resources. The Center for Relational Leadership engages business
and community entities in a “Legacy Leadership” journey of doing
Business As UnUsual, in order to deliver Exceptional Customer Ex-
perience. As the developers of Intimacy Therapy, countless couples,
families and singles have benefited from the healing and hope shared
through those mentored by the Fergusons.
Passionate about the simple message of the Great Commandment—
loving God and loving others—the Fergusons are committed to
being vulnerable and transparent about their own journey of how
God continues to heal pain and lead them in walking together with
Him. They hope through the sharing of their journey, others will
also come to know God as He really is and find abundance in life
and ministry.
David has two doctoral degrees from Oxford Graduate School, is
a member of the Oxford Society of Scholars and has authored 28
books plus numerous articles. David’s graduate and post-doctoral
work in Theology, Counseling and the Social Sciences focused on
Biblical principles for personal, family and community transforma-
tion. He and his wife Teresa have been married 50 years and reside
in Austin, Texas. They are the parents of 3 children, 7 grandchildren
and 2 great-grandchildren.
