. ABOUT ME Why did I become a real estate professional? Real Estate relates to everything about which I’m passionate: architecture and urban history; overcoming the pernicious effects of segregation, which relates to equity and justice; property taxes, which relate to schools and education; and development and urban planning, which relate to creating a healthy, sustainable community that attracts, welcomes and retains a diverse population in this area which I love to call home. Helping others as they navigate these contexts for themselves is endlessly rewarding. How do I define my role? My business cards say I’m an agent. But when you get right down to it, I’m much more—I’m a marketer, a connector, a facilitator, a negotiator, a referrer, a lastminute problem solver.
