Proper Disposal of Sorority Items

(Sorority’s Guide To Protocol Practices, Etiquette, and Communication. Revised May 2019)

Disposal of the Sorority pin: in the event of a Soror’s death or expulsion from the Sorority, the pin should
be returned to national headquarters or the local chapter (who will then return the pin to national
headquarters).
Disposal of paraphernalia: items with Zeta insignias and other paraphernalia or memorabilia should be
transferred or given to other Sorors.

If one does not choose to adhere to the above, please properly dispose of the materials and do not give
them to non Zetas.

Way To Encourage!!! The MOD committee rewarded the
Top 5 Team Members with some Zeta Swag!!! This was the
Top 5 (by 11:50PM EST on 5/15/20) overall based on the
Sorors registered on the Sigma Omicron Zeta team striving to
hit and exceed their own fundraising goals.

June 2020 Edition Sigma Omicron Zeta is in the TOP 5 for all
ZETA TEAMS!! Let’s strive for #1! Although
our virtual walk was completed on May 15,
2020, we still have until June 23, 2020 to
continue raising funds for this sorority year
overall. Support the Chapter and our Pearlettes.

The conclusion of official business does not mean we will no longer see one another. SOZ
sorors are only a drive, call, text, or click away. Reach out, physically or virtually, over the
summer and fellowship. Do not lose the connections you have made and nurtured. Take
time to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. Return to chapter in the fall with a renewed zest for Zeta.
