The Importance of Harmony in Life, Sharing, and Helping Cooperation by the community is usually referred to as "gotong royong". The cooperation is carried out with the aim of reducing work, so that any heavy work will feel light. Cooperative activities contain the value of harmony, sharing, and helping. Those values are very useful for our lives. Today is the first day of school. Nina, Rafi, and Yuni go to school together. They look excited, because now they've been sitting in the fourth grade of elementary school. Nina, Rafi, and Yuni have been best friends since first grade. It just so happens that they live in close proximity. Every day they go to school together. After school they study and play together. They also play and learn not always three, they always invite other friends. They always live in harmony with anyone, so they are well-liked by other friends, teachers, and their parents. As friends, Nina, Rafi, and Yuni always help each other in everything. They also enjoy helping others, both in school and in the neighborhood where they live. By helping one another, their work has become lighter. For example, if there is difficulty in doing a job or homework, they always tell each other in their completion, so that the assignments of teachers can be done and the grades they get are always satisfactory. Nina, Rafi and Yuni also like to share. They enjoy sharing stories about their experiences at home, sharing toys while playing, lending each other storybooks, stationery, and so on. They love to help, too.
When a friend needs help, they always help him. When a friend does not understand a lesson, they also often help him so that the friend can understand the lesson. Not only that, Nina, Rafi and Yuni like to provide assistance to victims of natural disasters. In addition, they often gather help from other friends, teachers or other members of the community. Then, they hand it over to natural disaster victims directly or put it back in the relief shelter post for natural disaster victims. Living together, sharing and helping each other is a noble act and makes our lives happy. We can have many friends so that we do not become sad and lonely because around us many friends accompany us in our lives. Moreover, we become loved by parents, teachers, friends, and other members of the community. Living together, sharing and helping each other including the values of mutual cooperation. Gotong royong is a living habit of the Indonesian people. Gotong royong is a characteristic of Indonesian people who distinguish it from the people of other countries. There are many benefits of mutual cooperation, including easing and speeding up the finished
work, establishing community harmony, and strengthening brotherhood. Therefore, as an Indonesian people, we must carry out mutual cooperation in all activities that need other people's help. We can realize mutual cooperation by carrying out a peaceful life, sharing, and helping each other with everyone. Thus, our lives are filled with peace, tranquillity, comfort, and delight.
