Questionnaire Results analysis

These are my results I got from my audience survey asking
questions about age, gender, and questions relevant to
psychographics on personal opinion to gain information about
preferences to genre etc.

As of now I have 22 responses, which
is a good amount to reviews to work
out the average answers and
opinions of my target audience

This questionnaire was designed to gain demographic
and psychographic information, to find who is be
interested in my script about a Vietnamese war movie
idea

This information is useful because I know more demographical information about my audience, most of them being 18-
24, so people in college mostly answered, this tells me other information like how much money their likely making.

These are my responses for asking my audience
about their hobbies, the most popular was
‘seeing friends’ and social activities’ this
connotes that my audience are sociable
people, which is good because if they go to
watch a movie their more likely to watch it with
a friend

These are my results for asking about gender the majority
are male while 18% are female and another 18%
preferred not to say this information is helpful because
using stereotypes and statistics I can safely determine that
females tend not to enjoy war films so having a prominent
male audience is good

This statistic tells me my audiences favourite genre of film, action and comedy being the most popular, this is helpful
information because it tells me what my audience prefer and will most likely be drawn to.

With this information I can gather that my audience sometimes watch movies alone with the answers
being balanced in terms of range, is a 50/50 when it comes to them watching movies alone, however
is understandable considering factors like lockdown and people not being able to be as sociable as
usual

My audience is again split between No and sometimes when asked if they regularly go to the
cinema, however my questionnaire doesn’t specify how often regular is, so these are expected
answers, this also tells me that a good majority of my audience would go to the cinema to see a
new movie.

This tells me that most of my audience enjoy war movies, this is
helpful as it again helps me narrow down my audiences personal
preference in terms of genre.

With this information that my audience learn further towards yes, being interested if a new one came out, which is good
news, and answers the more straight forward question.

With this information I know the social class of my audience which is important when selling any
product, because then you know their financial standpoint, however my survey was answered mostly
by people aged between 18 – 24, and are also in college, so is understandable.

Lastly this statistic tells me whether my audience are domestic or not, which they are, if I was actually
making a product this would be very helpful information because then I would know if I had to prioritize
logistcs

demographical information, such as how most of
the people that answered earned less than 11k a
year, which is justified by the fact that they’re
young adults either on minimum wage or are
students. However this would usually indicate
towards class.
