TESTIMONIALS

We are very grateful to Concern India Foundation’s continued support, and we thank }
{

While we were looking for support, most of the donor agencies refused as they had

never heard of burn survivors. We approached Concern India Foundation and the

support started in the month of July 2006. We are ever grateful to Concern. Once the

funding started, in a couple of years, other donor agencies approached us. Concern

was our first donor. We thank Concern for all the support and guidance.

There has been tremendous benefit through the years; through the years there has

been awareness, prevention and rehabilitation at different levels. Many lives were

touched and healed and confidence was given to lead new lease of life.

The impact has been great. We have given new life to many disfigured burn survivors,

transformed many of them to be strong and confident.

each one in the Concern for their support.

today at Ruva, there is a 100% school enrollment. With the steady support of Concern }
{
We at RUVA Foundation Charitable trust would like to thank Concern India Foundation
for the support for the last 6 years. Ruva initially started the project in the year 2003

with 65 students from Grade 1to grade 7 with very meager resources. Since Concern

support which started in 2011, there has been steady progress in the number of

children we have been able to benefit. This has been possible because of the team of

committed teachers from the community who could be given their salaries on time

with the support of Concern. Each year the children indentified for after school

support has been increasing, today there are 200 children from grade 1-12. The

community has accepted and recognized the quality education given at these

centers and take advices of the teachers for educational decisions of their children. In

a community where children getting into rag picking and child labour was common

India Foundation in terms of strengthening the efforts of Ruva, both

programmatically and financially has helped the staff and the team to grow. It has

instilled confidence and direction for our future endeavors.

The process of working with Concern India Foundation has been very smooth

and easy. Their greatest value is the fact that they know what kind of

information the corporate is looking for, and do all of the writing based on client

information.

For past 11 years, Concern has helped Niramaya to generate positive publicity in

the corporate sector and raise our organization’s visibility amongst corporate }

and individual supporters which is commendable.

Thank you so much for your kind suggestions, advice , bonding and care

through the years which will definitely help Niramaya to grow further and strong.

We are proud to have you as a strong backbone support to Niramaya.

We wish you all the very best and great achievements in the area of community

Concern India Foundation is supporting us for the past five years. Initially,
{
Parthasarthy. Memorial Trust was able to support only four staff members even

though we had the need for more staff members to look after our special

children and adults. After Concern’s support we have recruited 10 more staff

members from Special Educators to Care Takers. I had the opportunity to

attend couple of trainings in Bangalore and Chennai referred by Concern India

Foundation on making hand made products and as a result our production }

level has increased considerably in the last few years. Earlier, we used to make

very few hand made products like paper bags, envelopes and so on. Now we

have learnt to make environmental friendly dustbins, different kinds of hanging

lights, table lamps, making dining table placemats, door mats and so on.

We have also started a new Jute production unit. Our special children and

adults have become more skilled and are kept occupied throughout with the

increased number of new products made by them. We have gained confidence

to run our special school continuously with the support from Concern India

Foundation.

We are deeply appreciative of the contribution made by Concern India Foundation

to reach out to the most marginalized community when they were in distress

situation after the natural disaster (Heavy flood which devastated Kanchipuram

district in 2015). Through Concern India Foundation program support we were able

to reach out to more than, 20000 poor marginalised people specifically women to

access safe drinking water facilities and medical treatment and guidance for their

diseases. HRDF hopes to get continuous support from Concern India Foundation }

to serve the marginalized community who are in need of food, shelter, health and

education to live holistic life.

Once again HRDF congratulates Concern India Foundation for its committed

service to the poor people and we are proud to be a continuous partner in that

effort. We appreciate and congratulate the staff team and the board members of

Concern India Foundation for their continued endeavour.

Thanks!

The giver is forever greater than the receiver. He is the great to the little, the ocean
{

to the drop. This is the image that comes foremost when we think of Concern India

Foundation. Concern India Foundation has understood the core needs of the special

school, the children and matched its help perfectly to the needs of the school. It has

heard our dreams and uniquely understood the inner urge of the school. Its help has

initiated to create an equal society wherein the marginalized are no more in the

fringes of society but right in the core centre. In Sri Vidhya’s history Concern India }

Foundation was the first donor, which we proudly acknowledge.

and Sri Vidhya’s is fortunate to be the beneficiary of such consistent, sincere

qualitative support for it’s projects and proposals. The school is able to have a

We are indeed very much indebted to Concern India Foundation for all the support and

encouragement for our vocational training programme for individuals with Down

syndrome. Their help has been invaluable in our achieving our objectives.

The programme was not taking off as planned for lack of resources and we were not able

to provide the much needed training for the individuals to pursue life supporting skills.

However, after Concern’s support started we were able to get suitable vocational }

trainers and plan the appropriate skills for the individuals and start the programme

rolling. Concern has played the excellent role of enabler and morale boosting without

which the project would have not been easy to implement and we would have failed on

our commitments to the training of individuals with Down Syndrome.

We express our gratitude and hope Concern India Foundation would continue the

support and help the cause to which the trust stand committed.
