EUA Financial + Wealth Management Expertise

WEALTH MANAGEMENT EXPERTISE

Architectural + Interior Design

We believe at its core, architecture is not about bricks, mortar, wood, glass and
steel. It’s not really even about plans or aesthetics. Sure, these are all important
but anyone can give you these things.

We believe at its heart, architecture is about people.

We believe architecture has the power to unleash true human potential.
The power to enable people to be their best. The power to inspire people to be
better human beings.

This is a big promise.

We don’t make it alone. Our team includes our clients. It includes everyone who
uses and enjoys the spaces we create. Delivering on the promise requires
dedication, listening closely, working diligently, collaborating relentlessly and
executing brilliantly. It’s no small task; we can only accomplish it together.

When we design a space that expresses a company’s values and reflects
cultural authenticity, it sets them apart, creating a magnetic energy to attract
and retain the best talent. Engaged employees feel empowered to do their
best, making them feel like valued contributors to the culture and brand of the
company. In turn the company can thrive and grow in previously unimagined
new ways.

We believe great architecture is about more than elevating the environment.
We believe great architecture is about elevating people’s potential.

NATIONAL WORK | EUA LICENSURE

EUA has four office locations found in Wisconsin, Colorado and Iowa. We also maintain professional and business
licensing in a number of other states across the country. This is driven largely by the location of our clients’ projects
and property investments. When a new project opportunity arises in a state in which we are not licensed, it is typically a
straightforward process to secure licensure. Periodically, we have found it advantageous to leverage strategic alliances
with other design professionals to expedite projects in states we are not currently licensed in. In either case, we control the
end product and are integral to the construction and close-out process for every project.

We are currently working with several clients across the United States. To ensure a smooth process on remote projects,
we establish expectations of all parties early on through the Project Charter and re-visit the schedule during weekly
conference calls or web based meetings. When working remotely, it is crucial to establish this discipline in addition to
scheduling site visits well in advance to minimize disruption and control costs.

THE ENGAGED WORKPLACE

What if the design of a workplace environment could mean the difference in elevating your people’s potential?
The Engaged Workplace—when people, place and technology align with a business’s unique culture and business
objectives—enables employees to bring their best and whole selves to their work.

Every organization has a unique culture and individual business strategies and define success in their own way.
A Workplace Strategy and supporting design solutions should be tailored to your organization, responding to current
needs and future goals.

WORKPLACE STRATEGY MODEL
Our approach includes an understanding of your business impacts and how the built environment can aid in
supporting your goals and objectives. Our integrated change mangement model was developed with people as our
primary focus, using five workplace drivers to define the path for future success. Leveraging several customized tools
throughout the process, we engage our clients in a way that best aligns with their business objectives and culture. Data
collected and messaging developed early on can then be carried forward through to a project, fine tuning with change
management strategies to further support your organization.

Social Trends | Economic Impacts | Globalization | Technology | Political Impacts | Competitive Workforce

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES DEFINED FUTURE SUCCESS

WORKPLACE DRIVERS

FIVE WORKPLACE DRIVERS
Through our experience and research, we have found five key drivers that can elevate the potential for team
and individual performance within the Engaged Workplace. The drivers include Trust + Empowerment,
Knowledge Sharing, Well-being, Brand + Identity and Safety + Security.

One size does not fit all and each of these drivers, supported by design elements, are a direct response to
our clients’ unique culture. Every organization, their people and its culture is unique; by incorporating these
elements, we are able to respond with custom design strategies that support the work of individuals and teams.

6 Wealth Management Experience

CLIENT EXPERIENCE + ENGAGEMENT SPACES

The moment a client steps through your front door, you want them to positively connect with your organization. Your
space is the first thing the client interacts with when coming to your office, so it’s important that it not only is engaging,
but also positively showcases your culture and brand. Whether a law firm, manufacturer or financial institution, the
initial engagement of visitors with your space can help support your organization’s mission and vision and give them an
understanding of your company culture.

EUA has successfully implemented a number of design elements to enhance and improve our clients’ customer
experiences. This has included such things as the use of interactive displays, incorporating hospitality elements and
showcasing our clients’ history and brand through the use of colors and other environmental branding throughout.

FINANCIAL + WEALTH MANAGEMENT

CORPORATE OFFICE + MISSION CRITICAL + TRADING FLOOR
The financial sector is facing major disruptions from all angles between consumerism of products, technological
advances in delivery, big data and cyber security. All of these topics are at the forefront of leadership’s mind, when it
comes to disruption in the industry. Top talent and client experience play integral roles in staying competitive and ahead
of the disruption. The physical space can play an important role in helping attract, engage and retain that top talent
and elevate those critical client experiences through hospitality and engagement. We have been proud partners with our
financial sector clients, helping them to create engaged workplaces and unique client spaces to stay ahead of disruption
and ultimately gain an edge in a highly competitive marketplace.

As strategic investment advisors to the energy sector,
Petrie Partner’s new office makes a bold visual statement
that is grounded in the earth’s layering, while celebrating
the expansive Colorado sky. EUA worked with the
founders to architecturally express their values with
a simple but commanding use of stone, wood and
glass, emphasizing Petrie’s commitment to honesty and
transparency. The result is a precise, seamless space that
exudes sophistication and confidence, as well as warmth.

Particular emphasis was placed on the entry sequence,
where visitors are greeted by expansive mountain and
city views through 13ft floor to ceiling windows, a custom
onyx branding wall and countertop with a cutout glass
corner and hallways lined with millwork “trees,” providing
natural wayfinding through design.

NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL

WEALTH MANAGEMENT
COMPANY

CORPORATE OFFICE + RENOVATION

Modern design that exudes stability,
trust + security while respecting
the historic building

The EUA team was engaged by Northwestern Mutual
(NM) to complete an interior renovation of their Wealth
Management Company client-facing space within the
South Office Building. Located directly off of the main
lobby, it was imperative that this client and public facing
space communicated NM’s tradition of strength, stability
and longevity through a modern and respectful design.

Respecting the historic nature of the building, existing
finishes were complemented and blended with the new,
modern design. Repairs were made to the heavy bronze
doors original to the building and the coffered ceiling
was mimicked from the main lobby and continued into
the space. Marble finishes were restored to convey
sophistication and turnstiles were added for extended
security. To modernize client spaces, TVs and monitors
were seamlessly incorporated into the conference rooms,
allowing for technology-enriched spaces to improve
advisor-client engagement.

ANNEX WEALTH
MANAGEMENT

CORPORATE OFFICE + TENANT IMPROVEMENT

Showcase brand identity while
complimenting the luxury hotel’s
own brand standards

Located within the historic five-star Pfister Hotel, EUA
designed Annex Wealth Management’s new corporate
office in Milwaukee. Optimizing the limited real estate,
the design team applied creative programming solutions
to accommodate all of Annex’s needs.

Working within the historic building, there were several
structural hurdles that the design team was able to
leverage without compromising on design. One design
element of the space that was important to Annex was
brand visibility at street level. By incorporating large
exterior glass windows, passerbys would be able to
see into their space while Annex advisors record their
podcasts, giving tips and advice on money management.

Given the sensitive nature of Annex’s work, privacy was
important. As a result, offices were doubled-walled and
have laminated glass to help deaden sound along with
motorized window shades for all the retail level glass
windows when needed.

Milwaukee, WI
Headquartered in San Francisco, this financial industry Wealth Management Experience

an office in Milwaukee that would appeal to the modern

aesthetics, share similarities in creating highly flexible

retain top talent.

Due to the confidential nature of the client’s business,
acoustical solutions addressed their privacy needs with
sound proofing and private offices. Employee satisfaction
is very important, so multiple collaboration zones were
