Originating from the medicine storage room beneath a grand house owned by the descendants of “Kasemsuwan”, surrounded by a pharmaceutical factory, worker’s quarters, and a pier on the Maha Nak Canal (Khlong Saen Saep), this place has been a warm and welcoming home for over a century. It once greeted countless relatives, friends, and companions, and now comes to life again as a speakeasy bar, preserving the legendary stories of Dr. Mee. The building's unique character, preserved for over 100 years, blends Thai modern and Western colonial architecture from the reign of King Rama V. The interior retains its original features, including tiled floors, pillars, stairs, and walls, dating back to World War II.
