English Textbook-Based Module: Year 6 Prakata Selamat datang ke penerbitan buku istimewa ini yang mengintegrasikan teknologi terkini dalam bidang pendidikan. Buku ini adalah hasil usaha inovatif Panitia Bahasa Inggeris dan Skuad Inovasi Sekolah Kebangsaan Ulu Dusun yang menggunakan alat bantu AI untuk mengekstrak maklumat penting dari buku teks Bahasa Inggeris Tahun 6. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan guru dan murid dalam menyediakan bahan-bahan lembaran kerja yang efektif dan tepat. UNIT 3: ADVENTURE TIME LISTENING ACTIVITY Emma's Blog Entries: 5th January Hello, I'm Emma. Welcome to my blog! I live in Vancouver, Canada. It's a great city with beautiful nature. We have the ocean, mountains, and lots of animals. Have you seen a big brown bear? Canada is the best for sports and adventure. This year, I will write about all my fun adventures. I hope you like my blog! 10th January Today, I went skiing with my family at Whistler ski place near Vancouver. I love skiing – we go every year! My favorite ski run is called the Ice Monster – it’s really fast and the views are amazing! There are lots of things you can do in Canada. It's a really fun place, with many exciting activities to try! I never rode in a hot-air balloon or traveled to another country before. See you later! 12th June I have never gone kayaking before, so I tried it this month! It’s like canoeing, but a kayak is much smaller and your paddle has two ends. We learned at a kayak school in Ottawa, Canada's capital city. We practiced for three hours with a teacher and then we went down the Madawaska River in our kayaks. It was really exciting and the views were amazing! 18th August We went to a hot-air balloon festival near Montreal, Quebec, with over 200 different hot-air balloons! People had to fly the balloons at six o’clock in the morning and six 15

o'clock in the evening when the wind was best. We woke up early today and went for a hot-air balloon ride – I could see the whole countryside! I thought hot-air balloons were really quiet, but they aren't – the fire is really loud and it's hot, too! 1st September It's my 15th birthday and we're in Toronto, Ontario! I wanted to do something special, so we did the 'Edge Walk' around the top of the CN Tower. It's the tallest building in the city – it's 553 meters high! We had to wear a special coat, jacket, and gloves and practice with an instructor. Then we tied to a bar and walked around the outside of the building. We were 350 meters above the ground! I went with my best friend, Charlene. It was scary, but we loved it. It's the most exciting experience I've ever had! 16
