EN 1822 Autoscan Test Rig. (TOPAS)
➢ All Ast-2 panel filter, TM modules filters, RSC, RSR filters.
➢ Test filters with PSL (Polystyrene Latex, 0.14 µm).
➢ Limitation of machine, minimum filter is 305mm X 305mm. Airflow must be
above 150 CMH.

➢ Feed filter into test rig.
➢ Set filter information and test parameter, e.g. filter size, classification and air
flow.
➢ Run system. Scanning probes will move along filter surface area to detect
leaking.
➢ System provide the filter test result once scan completed.

Issues Encountered by Production
➢ HEPA/ULPA Test Report
o Test report is printed based on the request. Must be indicated during the PO confirmation.
o Lost of test report and request to reprint again.
➢ Packaging Method
o Request special packing after filters completed. Information not pass to CSG during PO
confirmation. Production need pull back to repack filters.
o Special packing not follow standard BOM.
➢ Urgent Order Request
o Production will try to support all region sales department, but production planning will be first
come first serve basis. Sharing information on any forecast or project order in negotiation,
will help production planning and material purchasing, thus reduce overall lead time.
o If production not able to meet the urgent order request, Sales region required to discuss with
CSG to prioritize the on hand orders and consider to swap ready date.
