HSP ANNUAL REPORT YEAR 2021

a year's overview

WHERE WE
ARE NOW

Another year in which our staff were like owls - with their

heads sointuaatsiwoniv. eILnl, erthettaiesdryyeftaroro, amtcht aaStncadogartetinaacmnt dteoaBnactoctboo.m.b. empordeaptaeraendyto

change daily, and some days, hourly.

HSP itself adapted to the ever-changing scenarios that
were presented: renting space for a day center, using
existing facilities for quarantine purposes, adapting
present services or creating new ones to accomplish tasks,
as well as working with other agencies and church
partners to supply vital resources to our community. In
our FY21 Participant Survey, it was revealed that 97% of
surveyed participants agreed that they received the help
they needed from HSP - and that HSP services gave them
the opportunity to bring changes to their lives!

While we are undoubtedly proud of our agency and the
services we provide, we are mostly proud of our staff because
of the human factor they add to the delivery of services. We are
nothing without our devoted staff, committed board,
unwavering volunteers, loyal donors and ambassadors. Thank
you for your continuous support of our important mission.

HSP exists to end poverty in Carroll County. Interestingly, our
mission is to one day put ourselves out of business. But for
now, we will continue to dedicate ourselves in the fight against
poverty by giving HOPE, inspiring CHANGE, and providing
OPPORTUNITY.
