Luddy LLC Leadership Team

Y101 & Y102 Course Redevelopment
The COVID pandemic allowed us to get creative, inclusive, and innovative this summer with both of the mandatory courses for scholars in our LLC. Additionally, we redeveloped both Y101 & Y102 courses creating a more tech-driven focus. Furthermore, some of the projects students will be completing, also serve as a precursor to our Serve IT Clinic. This course will focuses on developing student leaders by providing resources and tools to empower them in setting goals, teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills all necessary in the tech profession. Students will have an opportunity to interact and develop relationships with the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering faculty, staff, alumni, upper class students, and learn about opportunities to conduct research in the near future. Our goal is to truly elevate, while embracing unforeseen circumstances that might arise while enhancing skill-sets.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Foster Academic/Career Success
2. Develop Leadership Competencies as a Future Professional
3. Prepare Students for Responsible Lives in a Diverse, Interconnected, and Changing
World
4. Help Students Discover and Connect with Indiana University and the Luddy School of
Informatics, Computing, and Engineering
