Brief History
Two and a quarter acres of land leased by the State to the Couva Sunnatul
Jamaat at Noel Street North, Southern Main Road in Couva.
Under development for the past seven (7) years.
This initiative is geared towards the construction of The Noel Street Islamic
Complex; a dual level building with a commercial center on the lower floor
and on the second floor, a banquet hall and conference center to be used for
various events including Islamic activities.
Phase I of the Noel Street Complex has been completed with Phase II already
in progress. The complete construction and outfitting of the complex is
estimated to be finalized by the end of 2018.

The Noel The building’s lower tier is set to be a commercial hub of
Street activity with a diversity of potential vendors; coffee

Complex shops, haalal cuisine, doctor’s office, international food
franchises et cetera.
A banquet hall/conference center will occupy the top
level. This auditorium will host a variety of activities
which includes lectures, workshops, educational
programs, fund raising dinners and social gathering etc.
Top level will also facilitate counselling, Jamaat offices,
specific Islamic classes and training.
