Foreword

The English Language is the second language after Bahasa
Melayu in the teaching and learning (T&L) session at school.
Since the MBMMBI (Memartabatkan Bahasa Melayu
Memperkasakan Bahasa Inggeris) programme has taken
effect, the English Language has become of high importance.

Therefore, the 2022 English Month is an initiative on behalf of
the English Panel to implement the program at the school
level. This English Month also aims to improve the mastery of
the English Language among pupils so that the pupils can
grasp multiple concepts in learning the language easily and
effectively.

Objectives

To foster interest and fondness towards the English
Language among the pupils.
To help pupils to improve their mastery in the English
Language and further correct the skills in the language.
To improve confidence among pupils to speak the English
Language on everyday basis.
To hone the skills of the pupils and shape creative
individuals by joining the activities conducted throughout
the English Month.
To inculcate moral values in the pupils such as open-
mindedness, tolerance, cooperation, trustworthiness,
appreciation, thoughtfulness, fairness and rationale while
participating in the activities conducted during the English
Month.

Programme Tentative
of the English Month
Launching Ceremony

7.20 am:
Year 2, 4 and 6 pupils gather at the assembly ground with respective class
teacher/assistant class teacher.

7.30 am:
The official morning assembly is carried out from the broadcasting room
as usual (Year 1, 3 and 5 class teachers/assistant class teachers stay with
the pupils in respective classrooms).

7.40 am:
The launching of the English Month programme commences.
Doa recitation.
The arrival of school administrators.
Welcoming Speech by the Head of English Panel
