With its refined ambiance, the setting provided a natural stage for our cover shoot with Dr. Naeemah Ruffin. As Chief Photographer, Neil Tandy, adjusted lights and Stylist, Tania Sterl, prepared the fashionable touches, the room filled with an easy sense of anticipation. The atmosphere was calm, the kind of creative energy that emerges when a thoughtful team gathers in a remarkable place. Against the suite’s luxurious backdrop, Dr. Ruffin’s message about redefining beauty through movement came vividly to life. 10A study in strength and stillness—Dr. Naeemah Ruffin embodies a modern vision of beauty shaped by movement, intention, and quiet discipline.

11COVER FEATURE/BEAUTYBEAUTY IN MOTIONMedicine, Movement & Mindful Aging with Dr. Naeemah RuffinBy Patricia Canole I Photography by Neil Tandy I Styling by Tania Sterl Photographed on location at Loews Regency New York HotelAt a time when the anti-aging culture often defaults to needles and scalpels, one physician has been quietly rewriting the narrative—proving that age can be an invitation to strength, grace, and natural vitality. Dr. Naeemah Ruffin, widely known as the “Face Fitness Doctor,” has built a career at the intersection of medicine, wellness, and creative reinvention. Her path from corporate executive to physician, and from podiatric surgeon to the founder of two innovative health ventures, offers a portrait of someone fiercely committed to helping others feel confident in their bodies at every stage of life.Dr. Ruffin’s early professional life might surprise those familiar only with her current work. Before medicine called her name, she was deeply embedded in corporate finance. After more than a decade of managing high-level business operations, something within her shifted. A medical mission trip to Africa crystallized a deep desire to serve others through healthfocused work. At age 37, she made a dramatic pivot: she left the corporate world to pursue medicine and public health.Entering a dual-degree program at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, she threw herself into clinical training with the same discipline that once guided financial strategy. She completed her surgical residency at Mount Sinai, served as Chief Resident, and later pursued a podiatric dermatopathology fellowship. Along the way she earned accolades including the Sidney Solid Award for community service, research, clinical excellence, and leadership. Her academic commitments have included serving as an assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she has taught and mentored medical students and residents—a role that grounded her in evidence-based medicine even as her enterprising spirit began to take shape. That depth of training might be read like a clinical résumé, but Dr. Ruffin’s approach has always been personal. As she once shared on a wellness podcast, she wasn’t satisfied with just watching age happen: One day I looked in the mirror and said to myself, “Wow, I look so tired… even after sleeping eight hours the night before. I wasn’t satisfied with that.”HEALING FEET—AND MOREDr. Ruffin, as a board-certified podiatric surgeon, takes her clinical practice far beyond routine foot care. She is a lifelong ballet enthusiast and has channeled her medical expertise into dance medicine, specifically, into ballet podiatry, a niche that treats the specialized needsof ballet dancers. Through her Ballet Podiatry practice, she performs biomechanical evaluations, pre-pointe assessments, injury prevention planning, and long-term foot and ankle care tailored to both pre-professional and professional dancers. Her workshops and seminars, often held at dance studios and schools, bridge scientific understanding with movement intuition—helping dancers stay resilient and injury-free.As a testament to the doctor’s approach, these offerings blend clinical rigor with a dancer’s own expression of strength, turnout, resilience, and balance. Whether she’s advising a young student or an adult returning to studio classes, her work is steeped in the understanding that movement and medicine are not separate worlds but collaborators in health.REIMAGINING FACIAL AGINGWhile her work with dancers reflects a long-held passion for movement, Dr. Ruffin’s face fitness company, Bellantz, illustrates another chapter of her vision: holistic self-care for the face. She often thought, “What if our face could be trained the way we train the rest of our body? What if aging didn’t mean surrendering tone or vitality?”What began as a personal experiment—trying face exercises to address her own signs of aging—evolved into a structured face fitness program, backed by clinical reasoning, and utilizing a personalized coaching approach. The idea is simple but powerful: just as we train our bodies to stay fit, we can also exercise the 50-plus muscles of the face to enhance tone, symmetry, and vitality.Today, Bellantz offers customized training programs tailored to a client’s unique facial structures and goals. Clients typically work through multi-week regimens that involve targeted movements and recommendations for daily practice, guided by Dr. Ruffin’s insights into muscle attachment, blood flow, and facial anatomy. The programs are designed to take less than 10 minutes per day, making them accessible even for busy lives.Complementing the face exercise component is a plant-based clinical skincare line developed under the Bellantz umbrella. These products—formulated with natural and organic ingredients—aim to hydrate, repair, and nourish aging skin without relying on harsh chemicals or invasive treatments. It’s an approach rooted in Ruffin’s own experience as a breast cancer survivor, which deepened her appreciation for clean intentional skincare.BRIDGING SCIENCE & BEAUTYWhat makes this doctor’s approach distinctive is not just the mingling of science and aesthetics, but the confidence it offers clients. In a culture dominated by quick fixes, her message is refreshingly grounded: strength—whether in a dancer’s foot or a person’s face—comes from intentional, consistent care.

12It’s a philosophy that values longevity and self-awareness over momentary transformations. Her work has attracted media attention, guest appearances on health and lifestyle platforms, and recognition from organizations that celebrate women in business and medicine. Dr. Ruffin herself has spoken about aging not as a decline but as an accumulation of character, resilience, and possibility—an outlook she seeks to instill in those she coaches and treats.A LIFE IN MOTIONOutside her professional pursuits, Naeemah Ruffin’s life reflects her values. She continues to take ballet classes, supporting her belief that movement at any age enriches both the body and the spirit. She also engages with medical and scientific communities, contributing research and thought leadership to journals and conferences. Whether it’s educating dancers on safe practices, discussing facial biomechanics with clients, or mentoring emerging health professionals, her presence is both intellectual and compassionate.Dr. Ruffin is part of a new wave of clinicians who reject narrow definitions of health and beauty. Her career demonstrates that

13Think of facial fitness as strength training for your expressions. Here are three foundational principles from Dr. Naeemah Ruffin’s approach:• Start With Awareness: Before movement comes recognition. Spend a moment noticing where you hold tension—jaw, brow, lips. • Isolate With Intention: Facial fitness is about precision, not force. Exercises target specific muscles (cheeks, eyes, mouth) while keeping others relaxed. Less effort, more focus.• Consistency Over Intensity: Five to fifteen minutes a day is enough. The face responds best to gentle, repeated engagement, not strain. “This isn’t about doing more,” she says. “It’s about doing it consciously.”AN INTRODUCTION TO FACIAL FITNESSmedicine can be a platform not just for treating illness but for enhancing everyday quality of life, nurturing confidence, and honoring the rhythms of the human body. Her story is inspiring on several levels: the courage to change course mid-life, the commitment to lifelong learning, and the generosity to share that wisdom with others. Dr. Ruffin’s work reminds us that aging isn’t something to be fought; it’s something to be understood and embraced with intention. This doctor’s philosophy asks us to slow down, to notice, and to participate actively in our own well-being. Aging, in her view, is not a problem to solve but a process to engage with—thoughtfully, intelligently, and with respect for the body’s innate wisdom. It is an approach that feels especially resonant now, as more people seek alternatives and rediscover the value of gentler, more sustainable care. 14WHY BALLET BELONGS IN YOUR WELLNESS ROUTINEIn a culture that often treats aging as something to fight from the outside in, ballet offers a quieter, more enduring approach. It doesn’t rely on quick fixes or cosmetic solutions. Instead, it works from within—through alignment, awareness, and deliberate movement that strengthens both body and mind. It’s called the anti-aging power of ballet.Ballet is far more than performance. It’s a system of conditioning that refines posture, balance, coordination, and focus all at once. Over time, these elements shape the very qualities most people hope to preserve as they age: fluid movement, physical confidence, stability, and ease. “True longevity isn’t just about how long you live,” says Dr. Naeemah Ruffin. “It’s about how well you move through your life. Ballet supports that by training the body to function efficiently, gracefully, and with awareness.”POSTURE: THE FOUNDATION OF VITALITYOne of the most visible physical shifts that comes with aging is posture. Shoulders begin to round, the spine compresses, and tension patterns quietly settle into place. Ballet directly challenges this progression. Every movement begins with alignment—length through the spine, openness across the chest, steady core engagement. The body learns to lift upward while remaining grounded. Over time, this strengthens the muscles that support the spine and reduce the tendency to collapse forward.Better posture does more than create an elegant silhouette. It improves breathing, relieves joint strain, and allows the body to move more efficiently. “Posture is one of the clearest indicators of functional aging,” Dr. Ruffin explains. “When we stand tall, the lungs expand more fully, the muscles engage properly, and the nervous system responds differently.” Ballet retrains posture at a very deep level. STRENGTH THAT SUPPORTS EVERYDAY LIFEBallet builds strength in a way that often surprises people. The movements may appear delicate, but they require remarkable control. Slowly rising onto the balls of the feet, holding a balanced position, or extending a leg with precision activates deep stabilizing muscles— especially in the core, hips, ankles, and back. This is functional strength that supports daily living: walking steadily, reaching without strain, bending safely, maintaining balance without hesitation. Ballet teaches muscles to work together in coordinated patterns, which is exactly what we need to prevent injury and maintain independence as we age.FLEXIBILITY WITH STABILITYStiffness often becomes more pronounced with time. Reduced range of motion can affect everything from walking to simple household tasks. Ballet addresses flexibility differently than many stretching routines. Rather than forcing extreme positions, ballet emphasizes gradual lengthening with muscular support. The body opens while remaining stable. Strength and flexibility develop together, allowing movement to feel expansive but controlled. “When flexibility is developed without strength, joints can become vulnerable,” she notes. “Ballet protects against that by building stability around every extension.”BALANCE, COORDINATION & BRAIN HEALTHBalance sits at the center of ballet training. Shifting weight, standing on one leg, coordinating limbs through space, these constant adjustments strengthen stabilizing muscles and sharpen neuromuscular response. “Movement patterns that require coordination and focus stimulate the brain in powerful ways,” Dr. Ruffin explains. You’re strengthening neural pathways while strengthening the body. A profound anti-aging effect.EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING & EXPRESSIONBeyond physical, ballet nurtures emotional vitality. Movement becomes rhythmic, expressive, and immersive. Many people describe it as a form of moving meditation—absorbing, calming, and centering. There is also something quietly transformative about rediscovering grace. Even simple movements can restore a sense of lightness and confidence. “Joy is an important biomarker of health,” says Dr. Ruffin. “When people move beautifully, they often feel beautiful in their bodies again. That emotional shift has real physiological benefits.”FORGET THE FOUNTAIN, FIND THE BARRE

15AWARENESS: THE QUIET ADVANTAGEPerhaps ballet’s most meaningful gift is heightened awareness. Each movement demands attention—where the body is in space, where tension is held, where balance shifts. This awareness allows small imbalances to be corrected early. It encourages efficient movement instead of habitual strain. “Awareness is preventive medicine. When you understand how your body moves, you protect it. Ballet teaches that awareness continuously.”A PRACTICE FOR EVERY STAGE OF LIFEBallet is often misunderstood as exclusive or physically demanding, yet its core principles are accessible to anyone. Gentle barre work, beginner classes, and modified exercises allow people of all ages to participate safely. Progress isn’t measured in technical perfection. It’s measured in strength, mobility, and ease.Ballet does not promise to stop time. What it offers is far more meaningful: the ability to move through time with control, strength, and presence. With consistent practice, posture becomes natural, balance more reliable, and movement more fluid. The body feels supported rather than strained.“At its heart, ballet is about refinement,” Dr. Ruffin reflects. “It refines how you stand, how you move, how you inhabit your body. That refinement is what allows people to age with vitality, not just longevity.” Its greatest gift is not simply physical conditioning, but a renewed relationship with the body—one grounded in awareness, care, and intention. And in that steady, graceful engagement lies a powerful form of rejuvenation. At rest between rehearsals Naeemah Ruffin is joined by (left to right) Mackenzie Colby, Rosie Roker and Kayla Janet Fields to share a fun moment—poised, disciplined, and already fluent in the language of movement.

16DR. NAIN HER

17We asked Dr. Naeemah Ruffin to share more about the philosophy behind her approach to beauty, movement, and aging well. In this candid conversation, she reflects on the connection between physical vitality and inner confidence, and why she believes true beauty is something we cultivate through how we live—not simply how we look. Her answers offer a thoughtful perspective on redefining wellness at every stage of life. You made a bold midlife pivot from corporate finance into medicine. What did that moment of change teach you about listening to yourself? This change taught me the value of listening to my own innate wisdom of my mind and body. The body’s wisdom knows me better than I know myself.Ballet has been a constant in your life. How has movement shaped the way you understand aging, strength, and longevity? The importance of movement in understanding aging, strength and longevity is to realize that movement must be specific to your facial structure and must be gentle and deliberate.Face fitness challenges the dominant anti-aging narrative. What do you wish people understood about the face that we often overlook? Understand that a quick glance in the mirror at how you look is not how you really look. Spending five minutes or longer staring at your face and all its intricacies is bound to lead you deeper beyond the skin and into what you are really portraying through how your facial expressions just sit on your face in that unique way they do.You often say aging isn’t something to fight, but something to understand. How did you arrive at that philosophy?Ever since I was young, I had always heard the phrases “fight the aging process, fight wrinkles, fight getting older, etc.” I always wondered why we use the term “fight” as if a perfectly natural process such as aging needed to be fought against. As a physician and breast cancer survivor, how has your relationship with your body—and the way you care for it—evolved? As a breast cancer survivor, I feel like I do take the time to spend more time listening to the soft cues my body sends me daily. These silent messages are important as they keep me in tune with what is most important in my life. Often that can become drowned out by the busyness of life and overlooked.Whether collaborating with dancers or face-fitness clients, your approach centers on awareness and consistency. Why do you think these two principles matter more than quick fixes?Awareness and consistency are centered on time and practice. It takes time to become aware of the changes that are needed to take place in your life; it takes consistency to make the changes that are needed. As a result, changes will last. Quick fixes are just what the name implies. They are quick and they don’t last.In a culture that prizes speed and perfection, how do you personally practice slowing down and staying present?Soft light, strong presence: a portrait of a physician whose work Simple. You must practice.lives at the intersection of science, beauty, and mindful evolution.

The Taveras Sisters—Alayna, Yoenny and Leticia—radiate warmth, loyalty, and joy. Their connection is a living portrait of sisterhood at its most genuine.

FEATURESisterhood is unlike any other relationship—built on shared childhoods, inside jokes, and the ability to push each other’s buttons while staying fiercely loyal. Whether by blood or choice, it defies easy explanation. It’s tender and loud, competitive and comforting, exasperating and essential. This bond can survive slammed doors, stained borrowed clothes, and old arguments that resurface at family gatherings.Writer Pam Brown said, “Sisterhood is powerful. It is the strongest force in the world.” Yet it rarely looks traditionally powerful. It’s more often laughter at the wrong moment, playful insults delivered precisely, and reminders of that thing you hoped was forgotten.OUR FIRST MIRRORSAt its heart, sisterhood is an endless, evolving conversation. It starts in childhood, with secrets spilled under blankets and conspiratorial glances cast across crowded rooms. Sisters are our first mirrors—reflecting our wildest dreams and deepest insecurities, coaxing us back to our honest selves. They witness us before we polish our edges, before we mask our fears, steadfast as we stumble, fall, and rise again. This early bond is formative. “Siblings are often the longest-lasting relationships people have, and they serve as a training ground for managing emotions, power, jealousy, and repair,” says Dr. Laurie Kramer, professor of applied psychology at Northeastern University and a leading sibling-relationship researcher. “With sisters in particular, there is a high level of emotional intensity—both positive and negative—which actually strengthens social competence over time.”THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEDr. Alison Gopnik, developmental psychologist at UC Berkeley, explains, “Within close family bonds, playful teasing often serves as a way to test emotional limits in a safe environment. When trust is present, it actually reinforces security—because the underlying message is: You are known, and you are safe.”They remind you—loudly and sometimes with a twisted grin—of the time you tripped. Or how your cheeks burned after you mispronounced a word. It was that defiant life declaration that crumbled in two weeks. They never forget that ridiculous outfit. Or the wrong text that made your stomach drop. Or the phase you desperately insist was “experimental.”What makes sisterly teasing unique is permission. Sisters earn the right to poke fun because they’re also the first to defend. No one is allowed to criticize you like your sister—and no one else is allowed to try. Gloria Steinem captured this: sisters may irritate each other but defend one another without hesitation. Teasing is affection in disguise: a reminder you are fully known and deeply loved.A CONNECTION THAT PROTECTSResearchers have found that strong social relationships are associated with a significantly increased likelihood of survival, on par with quitting smoking or maintaining a healthy weight. In other words, the sister who answers your late-night call or shows up unannounced may be doing more for your health than she realizes.Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy has emphasized that loneliness is linked to increased risk of heart disease, depression, anxiety, and dementia. He explains that relationships are not optional extras—they are essential to well-being. Sisterhood offers a built-in antidote to isolation: someone who knows when you’re not fine, even when you insist you are.Sisters share a secret language—a whole conversation can unfold in a single look. A raised eyebrow means Are you seeing this? A smirk signals Secrets later. Sometimes, a sigh carries decades: of heartbreak, triumph, inside jokes, and forgiveness. No words needed, they already know the whole story. These moments of recognition do more than comfort. Positive social connections calm the nervous system, lower stress hormones, and LOVE, LAUGHTER & LEGACYHonoring The Magic Of SistersBy Patricia Canole | Photography by Neil TandyLeticia, Yoenny, and Alayna share a special bond. Warmth and affection radiate from this connection. Each sister brings her own spark: nurturing heart, playful energy, and thoughtful wisdom. Together, they create a circle of unwavering support.Together, they celebrate each other’s successes, lift each other through challenges, and fill everyday moments with laughter and kindness. Their love is effortless yet profound, a quiet strength that defines their family. Whether sharing secrets, dreams, or simply being present, the Taveras sisters exemplify the beauty of connection, loyalty, and the irreplaceable comfort of having sisters who are also best friends. --PCTHE TAVERAS SISTERS

20strengthen immunity. Simply feeling emotionally understood, often without words, can shift the body into repair mode.GROWING INTO EACH OTHERAs sisters grow older, the relationship evolves quietly but meaningfully. Childhood rivalries soften into respect. Competition becomes admiration. Differences that cause friction bring balance. One sister plans, the other dreams. One leads with logic, the other with instinct. Together, they offer perspective.Maya Angelou once said that sisterhood is not simply an accident of birth, but something that must be worked at. Over time, sisters learn when to step back, when to step in, and when to simply listen. The bond deepens not because it’s effortless, but because it’s chosen repeatedly.CHOSEN SISTERS, REAL SUPPORTFor many women, sisterhood extends beyond biology. Chosen sisters—those friends who earn the title through loyalty, time, and shared experience—offer the same emotional safety. These are the women who sit with you during heartbreak, celebrate your growth without resentment, and show up without being asked.Developmental psychologist Dr. Susan Pinker has shown through her research that face-to-face relationships are among the strongest predictors of longevity and happiness. Chosen sisterhood reinforces the idea that family is not only inherited—it’s built through presence, care, and consistency.THE GRACE OF REPAIRDr. Joshua Coleman, a psychologist and author of Rules of Estrangement, notes, “Because sibling relationships are built on shared history rather than choice, they tend to surface unresolved emotional material more easily than friendships. That doesn’t make them weaker; it makes them more honest. When repair happens,” he says, “it tends to be deeper and more enduring.”The greatest gift of sisterhood is that steady anchor across time. Sisters hold the unfinished story of our lives—the childhood selves, evolving dreams, the versions we lost and became. They remember our parents before careworn lines set in, our laughter bouncing in echoing rooms, all the pieces of us that only they still carry.SIMPLY LOVEGood relationships keep us healthier and happier. Sisters, in all their complexity, are often among the most enduring of those relationships. Alice Walker once wrote that sisterhood helps teach us how to love ourselves. Sisters remind us of our strength when we forget it. They call us out when we’re shrinking and call us forward when we’re ready to grow.To have a sister is to have a living archive of your life and a partner for what comes next. Someone who laughs with you until you cry, then sits beside you when you do. Someone who knows your flaws and magic—and will not choose between them.Sisterhood is not perfect. It is sarcastic, emotional, complicated, and deeply human. But it is also protective, grounding, and sustaining. Built on shared beginnings and strengthened by choice, sisterhood is proof that love—real love—can be loud, tender, resilient, and healing all at once.Every sister—L-R: Alayna, Leticia, Yoenny--carries her own story, yet the bond that connects her to the others is always just beneath the surface.

Sisters (clockwise) Alayna, Yoenny. Leticia remind us that the strongest bonds are built on honesty, forgiveness, and the grace of showing up for one another.

22STYLE & FASHIONEditor’s Note: When we first introduced readers to Raquel in Allegra Magazine Vol. 3, it was clear she was doing more than sharing a personal reinvention — she was giving language to a cultural shift already quietly underway. As the founder of The Silver Revolution, Raquel has become a compelling voice for women who refuse to fade politely into the background of their own lives.Raquel represents a generation redefining what it means to age — not quietly, but consciously. Through her work, she challenges outdated narratives around beauty, relevance, and desire, inviting women to see experience not as something that diminishes them, but as something that deepens their presence and power. Her movement is rooted in expression, authenticity, and the freedom to evolve without apology. In this issue, Raquel shares the personal turning points, inner reflections, and bold choices that continue to shape her journey — and the growing movement she has inspired. What began as one woman choosing life again has become a shared awakening for many. –PCAt the end of 2023, I closed a 33-year chapter of my life as a lead flight attendant with Air France. Since losing my husband in 2021, life has taken on a different rhythm. For the first time in decades, I found myself standing at a crossroads — free, yet uncertain. When The Golden Bachelor (French edition) was proposed to me, my first reaction was no. I hesitated. I doubted. I wondered what people would think. Even my daughter was against it. She said, “Mom, you’re going to expose yourself on television.”But something inside me whispered: life is short. If not now, when?CHOOSING COURAGE OVER FEARSaying yes was not about television. It was about choosing life again and believing that over fifty new beginnings — and even love — are still possible. It was about refusing to let fear or social expectations dictate the next chapter of my story. It was about proving to myself that courage does not expire with age. That decision marked the beginning of what I now embody as the Silver Revolution.THE SILVER REVOLUTION MINDSETThe Silver Revolution is a movement of creative freedom — empowering women to reclaim their visibility, desire, and ambition at every age. Aging is not decline; it is expansion. We are not meant to shrink or disappear simply because we reach a certain number. We are meant to evolve with depth, elegance, and confidence. It is a pro-age mindset that celebrates experience as power rather than limitation. Not everyone applauded. Some questioned why women “of a certain age” would dare to dress boldly, flirt, or be seen on a dating show. I heard comments asking, “What are these older women doing on television?”Those reactions confirmed why visibility matters. If society feels uncomfortable seeing a confident woman over fifty expressing desires, then perhaps that is exactly what needs to change. Visibility is not rebellion; it is affirmation. By showing up, we quietly rewrite the narrative.SILENCE, STILLNESS & SELFDISCOVERYBefore filming began, we spent a few days in a hotel, each of us in our own room. Once the adventure began, our phones were taken away for the duration of the experience. I thought I wouldn’t survive without mine — I am always connected. Yet the silence became a gift. Without distractions, I had to sit with myself, and in that stillness, I rediscovered clarity.I journaled and reflected: Who am I today? What do I genuinely want? What version of myself am I ready to embody? I realized I did not need to become someone new. I needed to return to my essence and trust it.HOW TO PIVOT TOWARD A NEW LIFEMy strategy was not about winning. It was about alignment. I chose to show up authentically — expressive, romantic, warm, and real. No performance. Just truth. That authenticity created a connection, and that connection created trust.THE FEARLESS SHIFTWomen Redefining Life On Their Own TermsBy Raquel | Photography by Neil Tandy

25Two years later, people still tell me, “You were my favorite because you were natural.” Even my closest friends said, “That was exactly you.” Authenticity became my greatest strength — not only on television, but in every area of my life. So, what steps can a woman take to pivot toward a new life? First, look at yourself in the mirror and stop searching for who you were. Start honoring who you have become. Deep down, you already know what needs to change. The thing that scares you most is often the door you need to open.Second, cultivate yourself again. Learn something that excites you. Explore a language. Refine your style. Step into a creative skill you once postponed. Growth is deeply attractive at any age — it radiates confidence and renews energy.Third, realign your energy before you realign your posture. When your inner world shifts, your body follows. Stand in your truth. Let your presence expand from within. Elegance is alignment in motion — a harmony between who you are and how you show up.Finally, say yes to visibility — not for approval, but for expression. When you

26allow yourself to be seen, you give others permission to do the same.EXPRESS YOURSELFCreativity became one of my tools of transformation. During difficult periods, expressing myself visually helped me shift my perspective. Instagram became a modern stage where I could transform vulnerability into strength and inspire other women over fifty to embrace visibility. In front of a camera, something changes. You see yourself differently. It is not about age — it is about presence. Modeling, for me, was never about fashion; it was about reclaiming space.STRENGTH FORGED IN SOLITUDEDuring my hardest moments, I experienced a quiet desert crossing. Challenging times filter your circle. Some disappear. Others stay. My circle became smaller, but stronger. Walking through that solitude made me resilient and deeply aware of my inner strength. What began as a personal turning point became something bigger. As I shared my journey, more women told me they felt the same fears and the same desire to feel alive again. That is how the Silver Revolution expanded — and eventually became a book I co-wrote with my friend and editor, Mæl. Writing it allowed me to speak openly about confidence, reinvention, love, and joy. The book is simply one tool among many in this larger movement. The Silver Revolution has already taken off. Because we are over fifty, we are not invisible — we are unstoppable.Info: instagram.com/beautyforthequeens

28A typical day on the streets of Paris: Residents and visitors enjoying the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.

29TRAVELTHE CITY OF LIGHTRekindling My Love Affair With ParisArticle & Photos by Neil TandyAfter forty-plus years, I once again had the opportunity to visit Paris and the love I had for this most romantic of cities reignited. Grab a coffee and join me as I take you on a journey around Paris, discovering some of its many delights and falling in love all over again.Idecided to fly from New York City to Charles de Gaulle, a route with several nonstop options and a good price. From Terminal 2, I decided that the best option to travel to central Paris was by taking the RER B train to Gare du Nord – there are plenty of machines in Terminal 2E/F to purchase the Navigo card (2 Euros), then the fare for the train to Gare du Nord, which is 14 Euros. There are also several apps for purchasing tickets.I also purchased the Navigo card for Metro/bus use – this is separate from the airport one, although the cards look the same, so it’s wise to have a pen so that you can write which is which on the cards. The RER B to Gare du Nord takes around 35 minutes, but it can get crowded, so be prepared to stand. At Gare du Nord, I then took the Metro to my destination in Paris. I had to catch two different Metro trains, but as I had loaded the Bonjour RATP app on my phone, navigating the Metro was very easy, even for a first-time user.SETTLING INTO LE MARAISI had decided to stay on the edge of the vibrant Le Marais neighborhood, which is part of the 3rd and 4th Arrondissements, a great place to be; it is easy to walk to many wonderful parts of Paris, the district has an incredible blend of boutiques, art galleries, nightlife, cafés, bistros and brasseries, there are several Metro stations and it is reasonably cheap. After settling into my hotel room, it was time to head out for a walk to the Seine. Through the wonderful, historic streets of Le Marais I wandered, not caring how long it took, not even bothering where I was going, as long as it was in the direction of the river. Passing wonderful-looking bistros, gazing into the windows of art galleries and boulangeries, fully immersing myself in the wonderful, energy-filled atmosphere, I was in heaven; I was falling in love with this magnificent city all over again.FIRST NIGHT ALONG THE SEINEEventually, I walked onto Quai de l’Hôtelde-Ville from Rue des Archives and caught my first glimpse of the Seine, lit up by a million reflections of nighttime Paris. After walking along the Quai for a while, I descended the cobblestone ramp from Pont Louis-Phillipe to Voie Georges Pompidou, a delightful pathway directly next to the river. Gazing at many huge public works of art on display, much of its photography, watching the Batobus boats gliding along, moving aside for the Parisian evening joggers, coming across lovers kissing under streetlamps, this was everything I wished for; Paris was not disappointing.Back at street level at Pont Marie, I caught my first glimpse of “La Dame de Fer,” “The Iron Lady,” the Eiffel Tower, in the distance, but sparkling and glimmering with its hourly light show, what a sight!A FIRST PARISIAN MEALBy now, after a couple of hours of walking, I was feeling hungry and decided to head back to my hotel. Navigating the streets and alleyways of Le Marais, I eventually found myself at Comptoir Turenne, an inviting-looking bistro. I sat and enjoyed my first Parisian meal at a very reasonable cost – Bifteck Haché à Cheval – a very large, chopped beef patty with a fried egg on top and some incredible, authentic pomme frites – fries to us, but thick and very tasty!Climbing into bed that night, I fell asleep full of wonderful food and ecstatic to be experiencing Paris in all its glory, not following a tourist agenda, but determined to wander and discover.A BIRTHDAY IN PARISI was to spend my birthday in Paris, and I was determined to make it one to remember! I started with coffee at a great little café barely 20 yards away from my hotel – one of three on a crossroads, then I headed off for a leisurely walk along Boulevard Beaumarchais, stopping to window shop at the many vintage camera stores, browsing the street stalls selling all manner of things, gazing into the tabacs, all the while walking towards Place de La Bastille. There is no monument to the famous July 14th storming of the Bastille Prison, but there is the magnificent July Column, the 154-foot bronze monument, commemorating the revolution of 1830, impressive and commanding the skyline.NOTRE-DAME & THE ISLANDS OF THE SEINEA few snacks from the street vendors in Place de Bastille and I decided that my next stop would be Notre-Dame Cathedral. Taking a circuitous route from Bastille to Pont Sully, to Île Saint-Louis, one of the two natural islands in the Seine, I walked across the island, then across the Pont Saint-Louis to Île de la Cité and on to the cathedral, stunningly imposing, but incredibly beautiful. I hadn’t been able to get the free entrance tickets, so I opted to view this magnificent building from the outside, marveling in its beauty, history, and presence. On my way back across the river, I stopped at Amorino Gelato, a mere stone’s throw from NotreDame, for a mouthwateringly delicious latté and some out of this world gelato!Heading back to my hotel through the 3rd Arrondissement, I already felt I was in familiar territory, at home and comfortable with this part of the City of Light.

30Grace restored in stone and light—Notre-Dame Cathedral stands timeless at the heart of Paris, where history, resilience, and beauty rise again.

31USEFUL PRICES TO KNOWGetting around Paris is refreshingly straightforward once you know what things cost and where to go. From hopping on the Metro to riding the RER in from the airport, a little price awareness helps you move through the city with confidence — and maybe save a few euros along the way. This quick guide gathers everyday transport fares, essential visitor stops like Musée Picasso, Maison de Victor Hugo, and NotreDame Cathedral, plus the easiest ways to navigate the network run by RATP. Whether you’re arriving through Charles de Gaulle Airport, heading into Gare du Nord, or downloading the official transit app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, these are the useful prices to keep at your fingertips.• Metro and RER trains inside Paris €2.55• Bus and tram single tickets €2.05• RER from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Gare du Nord €14.00• Navigo Easy Card €2.00 (stores up to ten tickets)• Picasso Museum €16.00 (free on the first Sunday of every month)• Victor Hugo House €0• Notre-Dame Cathedral €0

32From the lively rhythm of open markets to the the Picasso Museum, Paris serves its pleasures in every form—sumptuous and simply unforgettable. Opposite page: The magnificence of the Eiffel Tower.

33MONTMARTRE: THE SPIRIT OF BOHEMIAN PARIS If you ask anyone their list of favorite areas to visit, Montmartre will nearly always be there: steep bohemian cobbled streets, bistros, cafés, art galleries, the Dali Museum, Place de Tertre, full of artists painting and sketching and of course, Sacre Coeur, the immense basilica at the top of the hill, with some incredible views of the city.During my visit, I was lucky that the Fête des Vendanges was taking place – Paris’ most iconic wine festival – although I don’t drink, the myriad stalls beneath Sacre Coeur had more than enough tasty delights to keep me happy – 100s of different cheeses, regional pastries, tarts and pies, charcuterie meats, a seemingly endless variety of saucisson (sausages) and of course, plenty of wines and beers. If you find yourself in Montmartre in October, this is an absolute top-of-the-list activity.THE GLOW OF THE MOULIN ROUGEOf course, no trip to Montmartre is complete without a visit to Pigalle and its most famous resident, The Moulin Rouge. The red windmill, lighting up the night sky, doesn’t disappoint, and although I didn’t go inside to watch the world-famous cabaret, it is definitely in my plans for future visits.Le Trein Bleu, the iconic restaurant at Gare de Lyon, decorated with over 40 paintings and murals by Belle Époch artists, was on my wish list, but getting a reservation is almost impossible unless booked weeks in advance, although it is always easy to sit in one of the bar area lounges, which is what I opted for. Do not expect anything to be cheap, for example, 26 euros for a Caesar salad, 12 Euros for a 1-liter bottle of Evian water, but the ambiance, the elegance, the décor, the service, all make up for that. This is definitely one of those genteel, civilized Paris must-visit locations.PLACE DES VOSGES & LITERARY PARISNext was Place des Vosges, the Victor Hugo Home and the Picasso Museum, all within an easy walk from my hotel. Place des Vosges in autumn is sublime. The weather was wonderful and the foliage a splendid riot of beautiful yellows and golds, the fountains bubbling and sparkling in the

34sunlight, the red brick buildings that make up the square, the oldest planned one in Paris, are over 400 years old.Beauty, history, peace, this is such a wonderful location to just sit and read, have a picnic, relax, do nothing and forget about everyday life for a while.IMMERSED IN THE WORLD OF PICASSOThere are so many attractions at Place des Vosges, but a big highlight is visiting the Maison de Victor Hugo, the apartment he rented from 1832 to 1848. Admission is free. Info: https://www.maisonsvictorhugo.paris.fr/en/parisThere are so many incredible museums in Paris but given where I was staying for the duration of my trip, the Picasso Museum was a must and just a brief 10-minute walk from Place des Vosges. Housed in a 17th-century mansion, the museum has a collection of more than 5,000 works of art, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, engravings and notebooks, spread across four floors. A truly captivating and dare I say, inspiring, almost reverent experience. A bonus for me after viewing so much of Picasso’s work and insights into his life and genius was the incredible rooftop café overlooking the courtyard, where I enjoyed a sandwich and espresso. Info: https://www.museepicassoparis.fr/en/home-pageSEEING PARIS WITH THE HEARTOf course, I took time to visit the Eiffel Tower at night, to photograph “tourist” scenes, but my intention was to view Paris from my heart, to try to blend in with Parisians, not to stand out, I think I managed that in some way, but my main goal was to rekindle the love affair that had begun so many years before and that I definitely achieved. This journey of Parisian discovery has only just begun; there are so many more streets and alleyways to explore, galleries and museums to visit, bridges to cross, bistros to eat at, and life to live in the City of Light.Bonjour RATP on Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fabernovel.ratp&pcampaignid=web_shareBonjour RATP on Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/np/app/bonjour-ratp/id507107090Notre-Dame’s magnificent façade, alive with rows of intricately sculpted figures; the commanding equestrian statue of Louis XIII; the gilded splendor of Le Train Bleu; and the electric, after-dark allure of the Moulin Rouge.

TRAVEL

38BIG SKY, MILE BY MILEWhere Trails Lead, Horses Roam, and Rivers CallArticle & Photography by Neil TandyTRAVELW hen people hear “Big Sky,” they tend to picture snow—endless powder, ski lifts, winter jackets zipped to the chin. That reputation is well earned. But a summer visit revealed another side of this Montana outpost—one defined by open trails, rushing rivers, long days, and a quieter kind of thrill. For me, the journey begins the moment I step off the escalator into baggage claim at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The place feels instantly welcoming, with its warm wood interiors, log-cabin sensibility, and thoughtfully curated gift shops. It sets the tone before you ever hit the road.Car rentals are conveniently close to baggage claim, and lines move quickly, though visitors should brace for higher-than-expected rates—July is prime Yellowstone season. I reserved in advance and lucked out with a complimentary upgrade to a full-size Dodge Charger, which proved perfect for the drive ahead.BEYOND THE WINTER POSTCARDPulling out of the garage into Montana sunlight, I headed south on US-191 along Gallatin Road—a scenic 46-mile stretch that gently climbs through pine forests and mountain valleys. The Gallatin River runs alongside the road, glinting in the sun, a constant companion through the ascent.A turn off the highway brought me into Big Sky Town Center and the Wilson Hotel, where check-in was quick and the reward immediate: a room with sweeping mountain views, including the commanding presence of 11,167-foot Lone Mountain. Bags dropped, camera in hand—I was ready.Big Sky’s town center is compact but lively, with a well-curated mix of shops, cafés, restaurants, and galleries that invite lingering. Just beyond is Meadow Village, offering more places to browse and dine without ever feeling overbuilt or rushed.EVERY TRAIL TELLS A STORYBig Sky’s trail system ranges from easy strolls to serious climbs, each offering its own payoff. I chose the moderately challenging Uplands Trail—a 2.2-mile loop reached by a nearly mile-long walk to the trailhead. The ascent gains about 450 feet in the first mile before easing back down through open meadowland. The views are worth every step: Lone Mountain, the Spanish Peaks, Cedar Mountain, and Beehive Basin unfolding in all directions. From the top, Meadow Village and Big Sky stretch out below in postcard perfection. Altitude, however, is no joke. Big Sky sits at 7,218 feet, and the extra elevation on the trail makes itself known—even for those in decent shape. It’s a humbling reminder that here, nature sets the terms.A TIP OF THE HAT TO THE OLD WESTBack in town, it was time to prepare for the evening’s Lone Mountain Ranch Rodeo. A proper cowboy hat felt non-negotiable, so I stopped into East Slope Outdoors and found the right one. Then it was off to the ranch.Parking is well organized, with shuttle buses running continuously on rodeo nights. Admission includes a cookout along with wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks—hospitality done the Montana way.At 6 p.m. sharp, the rodeo opens with the national anthem, sung as a lone rider circles the arena carrying the American flag. Hats come off, hands go to hearts, and the Rockies provide a dramatic backdrop. It’s a moment that stills the crowd. What follows is a lively, old-school competition—cowboys and cowgirls from area ranches facing off in bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, ranch roping, and more. My camera barely cooled between shots. The energy is nonstop, authentic, and deeply rooted in place.Afterward, it was a short drive back to the Wilson Hotel, an ideal summer base within easy reach of hiking, biking, fly fishing, and Yellowstone’s west entrance. Dinner at Block 3 Kitchen & Bar—a bison burger with a generous pile of fries—was exactly what the day called for.IN THE SADDLE, AT MY OWN PACEDay two began back at Lone Mountain Ranch, this time for horseback riding. As a complete novice, I appreciated the patience and confidence of my wrangler, Hayley, who outfitted me with boots and introduced me to Calgary, my steady, grass-loving companion. From mounting to steering—and convincing Calgary not to stop every few minutes for a snack—the learning curve was real, but the experience was unforgettable. Ninety minutes on winding trails, surrounded by open land and big skies, passed far too quickly.THE VILLAGE, WARM WEATHER EDITIONThat afternoon brought a move to Huntley Lodge in Big Sky Mountain Village, closer to Lone Mountain. The historic property, named after founder and former NBC anchor Chet Huntley, has fully embraced its warm-weather identity.Zip lining, mountain biking, climbing walls, and bungee trampolines fill the grounds once dominated by skis. Dinner at Westward

Big Sky Mountain Village and Lone MountainSocial—a fresh salad and turkey club—came with a front-row seat to shifting weather around Lone Mountain. The lodge’s plush bedding ensured a deep, well-earned sleep.CASTING INTO MONTANA TIMEFor my final full day, I headed to Gallatin River Guides to try fly fishing on the Gallatin River. Outfitted with waders and boots, I joined Bob, a guide with 36 years of experience—and the patience of a saint.Fly fishing is far more technical than it looks, and the fast-moving river made footing tricky. But after some instruction and plenty of trial and error, I landed three rainbow trout. A modest haul, perhaps, but one I was proud of. The river delivered its own kind of workout, too.ONE LAST VIEWThat evening ended at Riverhouse BBQ with Visit Big Sky CEO Brad Niva. Beloved by locals and visitors alike, the restaurant serves up classic barbecue—pulled pork, baby back ribs, and all the fixings. It was the perfect final note to a visit that felt both full and far too short.Big Sky lingers with you. It’s an ideal base for exploring Montana and a natural gateway to Yellowstone—but it’s also a destination in its own right. I have planned a return, this time in the fall, to see how the landscape changes once again.

43Ocean House TRAVEL

44The practice of wellness can be as simple and inexpensive as meditating on the beach as a gentle breeze caresses the skin. Alternatively, one can indulge in the lap of luxury. If the latter is the preference, yet there is still a desire for that shoreline, then Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, needs to top the list of indulgent travel. Ocean House has also become a favored hideaway for high-profile couples seeking privacy. In recent years, the storied resort has been quietly linked to intimate celebrations involving A-list royalty—including a widely buzzed-about private gathering associated with the June nuptials of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce—further cementing its status as a sanctuary for once-in-a-lifetime moments.Watch Hill boasts pristine shores and a rich history. The Niantic Indians occupied the area in the 17th century; Colonists used the hill as an essential lookout point during both the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War, hence the community’s name. Some landmarks in the village include the Watch Hill Lighthouse, built in 1745; the Merry Go Round Beach, the oldest operating suspended-horse carousel in the United States and a National Historic Landmark.CLASSIC ELEGANCE, MODERN COMFORTSince one cannot live in the past, the current-day Ocean House eclipses the property’s iconic past with its 46 guest rooms and 23 signature suites perfect for guests with luxury in their genes. They boast “turn-of-the-20th-century décor,” with subtle color palettes and early New England artwork. The standard guest rooms feature approximately 375 square feet of living space, a queen-size bed, 400-thread count embroidered linens, and 100% goose down pillows. The large walkin shower, Italian cotton towels, and plush bathrobes elevate the experience to one that mimics royalty. The Deluxe Waterview Rooms offer all the standard benefits, plus 100 square feet of additional living space, a comfortable sitting area, and a partial view of the Atlantic Ocean or Little Narragansett Bay from upper-floor vantage points. The bathroom includes not only the same large, walk-in shower, but also a tub. This accommodation is like the Terrace Water View, which is a slight upgrade with its seasonally furnished private terrace.OCEAN HOUSE Where the Golden Age of Hospitality EnduresBy Michael Alpiner I Photos Courtesy of Ocean House

EXCLUSIVE SPACESThe Club King Room extends the living space to 550 square feet, and besides having all the bells and whistles, it also includes exclusive access to the membersonly Club Room for lunch and/or dinner. The Deluxe Studio bumps up the square footage to seven hundred and consists of a gas fireplace for the cooler New England days and nights, while the Standard Suites feel most like home and offer views of Watch Hill Village. No matter where a guest sleeps, the entire resort experience is the great equalizer, as there is something for everyone, and a sense of wellness in the air. On- and offsite activities include croquet, golf, fishing, yachting, sailing, and more. Car enthusiasts can participate in a BMW test drive program in which guests can borrow (no, BMW does not stand for Borrow My Wheels). SIP & SOOTHE For culinary offerings, Ocean House maintains the indulgence with several dining options. The Bistro, aptly named, is a casual American bistro-style restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room décor and menu provide a New England twist within their melodic blend of tastes and colors. Likewise, Coast offers more of a high-end experience with a pre-fixe menu with distinct levels of wine pairings. On Sundays, guests can pair their brunch with live jazz. For a wellness experience, Ocean and Harvest Spa, which earned a fivestar rating, one of only a few in the world with such a distinction, boasts 12 thousand square feet of luxury using natural ingredients such as green apple, juniper, loganberry, marine collagen, kombucha, and more. Therapies, ranging from massages to scrubs, pedicures, and facials, top a spa menu that addresses the entire spectrum of life’s stress points. The Couples by Candlelight massage is especially transporting with its side-byside experience engulfed in the scents of grapefruit and rosemary. Afterwards, the couples retreat to the Relaxation Room, overlooking the ocean, sip on Taittinger Champagne and nibble on macarons. From organic seaweed wraps, harnessing the healing power of the Atlantic, to bespoke skincare rituals infused with locally sourced botanicals, every experience is designed to nourish both body and soul. Guests can immerse themselves in mindful therapies, restorative oceanfront yoga, and the tranquil coastline—all while knowing that their rejuvenation aligns with eco-conscious values.CLASSIC HOSPITALITYAt Ocean House, time seems to slow down, not in the sense of nostalgia but in the rare luxury of being fully present. Whether savoring a glass of Champagne after the spa, feeling the salt air on a morning walk, or listening to the quiet hum of the sea from a private terrace, guests rediscover the art of stillness. This is where classic hospitality meets modern indulgence, where every detail is curated not only for comfort but for memory-making. Info: https://oceanhouseri.com

46On a stately stretch of Park Avenue where Manhattan moves at a slightly more graceful pace, the Loews Regency New York Hotel has long represented a certain kind of New York luxury—one that values quiet sophistication over spectacle. Just a few blocks from Central Park and moments from the boutiques of Madison Avenue, the hotel feels perfectly placed between the energy of Midtown and the cultivated calm of the Upper East Side.It is the kind of place where the doors open and close steadily from early morning until late evening—business leaders heading to breakfast meetings, couples arriving for a weekend in the city, longtime guests returning to a favorite suite that feels like home. The Loews Regency has welcomed them all for decades, maintaining a reputation as one of New York’s most polished addresses while continuing to evolve with the city around it.A NEW YORK CLASSICFrom the moment guests step inside, the atmosphere suggests classic Park Avenue living. The lobby is both grand and welcoming, with marble floors, soft lighting, and deep seating arranged in conversational clusters. Rather than the theatrical entrances favored by many modern hotels, the Loews Regency offers something subtler: the sense that you have arrived at a private Manhattan residence. The guestrooms reflect that same philosophy. Designed to feel more residential than hotel-like, the rooms are warm and elegant, with tailored furnishings, plush bedding, and thoughtfully designed workspaces. Large windows frame the surrounding architecture of Park Avenue and the Upper East Side, reminding visitors that they are in one of the city’s most storied neighborhoods.ROOMS DESIGNED FOR LIVINGYet it is the hotel’s celebrated Suites Collection that elevates the Loews Regency into the realm of exceptional New York hospitality. These expansive accommodations are designed for guests who want the experience of living on Park Avenue, if only for a few days. Each suite has its own character, but they share a common sensibility: generous living rooms, marble bathrooms, curated artwork, and layouts that feel comfortable rather than formal. Many offer sweeping city views or private terraces—rare luxuries in Manhattan—allowing guests to step outside and take in the skyline from their own secluded perch above the avenue. At the very top of the collection is the remarkable Regency Residence, an extraordinary apartment-style suite that spans more than 5,500 square feet. With multiple bedrooms, a grand living room, dining areas designed for entertainment, and an expansive terrace overlooking the city, the residence feels less like a hotel suite and more like a private Park Avenue home. It is a reminder that in New York, true luxury often lies in space—and the Loews Regency offers it generously.THE LEGENDARY POWER BREAKFASTOf course, any great New York hotel has a restaurant that becomes part of the city’s daily rhythm, and here that role belongs TRAVELSUITE LIFE ON PARK AVENUEInside The Glamour, Dining & Spa Indulgence Of The Loews Regency New York

47to The Regency Bar & Grill. For decades, the restaurant has been synonymous with the legendary “Power Breakfast,” a morning ritual that helped define the city’s business culture. Executives, journalists, financiers, and politicians have gathered at its tables for years, conducting conversations that quietly shape deals, headlines, and global alliances before most of the city has finished its first cup of coffee.A TASTE OF MILANAnother culinary favorite offers a more casual moment of indulgence. Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Loews Regency brings a touch of Milanese café culture to Park Avenue. The scent of espresso and fresh pastries drifts through the space each morning as guests stop in for cappuccinos, delicate croissants, or a light Italian breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Neighborhood residents often drop by as well, giving the café a distinctly local feel that reinforces the hotel’s role as part of the community.BEAUTY & WELLNESSLuxury at the Loews Regency also extends into wellness and beauty with the remarkable Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa, a destination. Spanning approximately 10,000 square feet, the salon/spa is one of Manhattan’s most sophisticated beauty spaces.Founded by celebrated French hairstylist Julien Farel and his wife Suelyn Farel, the spa offers everything from precision hair styling and color treatments to advanced skincare therapies and restorative massages. The space feels both glamorous and serene, with private treatment rooms, elegant styling stations, and a relaxed lounge where guests can unwind between services.Throughout the hotel, service is polished without feeling overly formal. Staff members move with the quiet efficiency that defines great hospitality, anticipating needs before they are spoken and ensuring that each stay unfolds seamlessly. It is a style of service that reflects the hotel’s deeper philosophy: luxury should feel effortless.SPRING AWAKENINGSWhat makes the Loews Regency truly special, however, is the atmosphere it has created over the years. In a city known for constant reinvention, the hotel remains a reassuring presence—anaddress that feels timeless without ever feeling dated. In fact, thisSpring, the hotel will be celebrating in style. As tulips bloom along Park Avenue, celebrate the season—and the special women in your life—with vibrant floral bouquets from Patrick J. Clayton Productions, available in a festive pop-up from May 9th – 11th. Then, continue the celebration with a memorable Mother’s Day brunch at The Regency Bar & Grill, where Executive Chef Manjit Manohar presents seasonal specialties. For travelers or residences seeking an authentic taste of Park Avenue living—complete with world-class dining, exceptional suites, and one of Manhattan’s most celebrated salons—the Loews Regency remains one of the city’s most extraordinaryhotels.
