When Days Get Hard

As a little monkey, Bonzo has always been close
to his grandma.

His grandma always baked him
cookies, and told him stories
of the adventures she had
when she was young.

As the grandma gets older each day,
she hopes that one day Bonzo
becomes the traveler she was.

Everyday, it gets harder for grandma to travel.
Bonzo notices, that something was wrong.

He asks his Mom and Dad.
“Is Grandma okay” asked Bonzo.
“She is just getting old” Bonzo’s mom said.

One day when Bonzos goes out to play.
Tweet, Bonzos old neighbor comes out
and calls Bonzo.

“Bonzo, Bonzo!” Tweet said in a rush.
“Your grandma……something is wrong”.
Bonzo swings back home.

When Bonzo got home
he saw his grandma on her bed.

“Grandma! Grandma!” Bonzo cries.

“I am sorry son, but your grandma is dead” says
Bonzos dad.

Bonzo quickly runs into his

room and shuts the door, denying
everyone.

Bonzo cried and cried and couldn’t sleep.

All of a sudden he hears a
loud lightning bolt.

“Grandma!” he cries out.
He looks around and notice
that she was gone.

Bonzo starts to cry.

Bonzo goes downstairs for breakfast and doesn't
touch his food.

He remembers his grandma everyday.

Bonzo starts to realize that his grandma would
want him to be happy and not to cry.

He remembered all the stories his grandma has
told him when she was a traveler.

He starts to learn that his grandma will always be
in his heart.

So he decides to become the traveler his
grandma was.
