Foxy looked at it, and it was rotten. Foxy saw a cat, Foxy asked her if she could get it for her. The
cat told Foxy her name. “My name is Whiskers said the little cat” “May you get that apple for me Asked
Foxy” “Yes i’m little but i’ll try” said Whiskers.

Whiskers climbed the tree she looked back. Where was Foxy? “Foxy” Whiskers yelled. There was no
answer. Whiskers yelled louder. “FOXY!” Still no answer. Whiskers got down from the tree and got scared.

Foxy came back with a basket of apples. She bit one, it was fake. She tried the others they were
fake. What would she eat? “What’s wrong Foxy” Whiskers asked. “They are all fake” Yelled Foxy. “Oh well
it’s ok i can get you one from this tree”.

Suddenly they both saw a wolf. “Well, well, well,” Said the wolf. “What are you guys doing so far out
here?” asked the wolf. “We were getting some apples because we were hungry” said Foxy. The wolf went
away, but then they saw a river. “Whiskers?” “Want to go get a drink of water?” asked Foxy. “Sure,” said
Whiskers. “Ok, let’s go get a drink then” said Whiskers.

They walked until they got to the river. “Does something here look wrong to you, Foxy?” asked
Whiskers. “Yes,” said Foxy. “It’s dirty,” said Whiskers. They both fell asleep at the river.

They woke up at the same time. “Where are we?” asked Foxy. “We are at the river, remember?”
asked Whiskers. “We were gonna take a drink of water and there was something wrong with it” said
Whiskers. “I said it was dirty,” said Foxy. “Should we try to find a clean river or lake?” asked Foxy. “Sure,”
said Whiskers.

“Ok,” said Foxy. “But, maybe before we go, should we have some more rest?” asked Foxy. “Well,
sure you can, but I am not tired.” “Ok, but, if you fall asleep then I’ll have to wake you up and if I fall asleep
and you will wake me up, ok?” asked Foxy. “Sure, ok.” said Whiskers. Foxy fell asleep and so did
Whiskers.

Two hours later they both woke up again. “Let’s get moving,” said Foxy. “Ok” said Whiskers. They
started to walk and they both saw a very tall hill. They walked up on it and looked around, they saw
another apple tree. “I see an apple tree!” said Foxy.

Page 10

They both ran down to it and saw an apple on the ground, it was rotten, just like the other one at the
other apple tree. “It’s rotten just like the other one,” said Foxy.

Page 11

“Hey look another apple tree over there!” yelled Foxy excitedly. “Let’s go down to it!” Said Foxy.

“Ok,” said Whiskers. They both went down to the apple tree, and saw a perfect apple that was in a low,

low, tree and they picked it. Foxy ate it, she was so happy. They both lived happily ever after.
