This business will be a sole proprietorship. Patch Up sells SCHS logo embroidered patches, or
patches that students can personalize or DIY their own. This business is cooperative, interactive,
and based on personal choice.

embroidered patch or show some school spirit. Patch Up is located at the SBO Student Store in
the quad or you can purchase it on the student store website with cash, credit, or debit. Students
can also add it as an additional item applied on SCHS apparel. Plus, there is a workshop held in
the art classroom where students can DIY their own patch with materials provided and
volunteers can teach embroidery.
IV. Competitive Position
Patch Up is best at creating patches personalized by the student’s choices and provide great
customer service. Compared to other competitors, our friendly business provides products that
are versatile, durable, reusable, collectible, and affordable. We allow students to bring originality
and increase a variety of SCHS apparel in the student store.
V. Financial Position
The Patch Up startup funds began at $5,000 and the startup funds left over is totaled to
$3,634.76. For 1 whole year, our expenses totaled up to $873.21, net profit totaled up to
$15,626.79, and total revenue for a personalized patch (stick-on/iron-on) totaled up to
$16,686.00. Each personalized patch cost $6.75 and the rest of the items vary per year.

VI. Mission Statement
The mission of Patch Up is to allow students to be creative and express themselves, show school
spirit, or interact with others students. It is to provide our students a high quality product with
affordable prices and ensure their satisfaction in order to create a personal embroidered badge.

The Patch Up business would continue to grow in the SCHS years and develop a friendly
business. We are persistent in seeking inspiration from students and develop an interactive,

Business name is “Patch Up.”

Patch Up is an embroidered patch business that allow students of Santa Clara High School to
personalize their own patch and decorate materials or show some school spirit by being involved
with a workshop or trading with other students.
III. Form of Ownership
Patch Up is run as a sole proprietorship. This business is operated by the owner, Khaila Esguerra.

Patch Up sells embroidered patches at the student store that represents the school logo or
students get to choose any design they want. Students can add it as an additional item applied on
SCHS apparel as well. Also, students create their own patch by joining the Patch Up workshop in
the art classroom with materials provided. Patch Up allows students to rep the school, be
creative, decoration materials, and interact with other students.

creating their own patch. Being taught by volunteers who are willing to teach other
students how to embroider.

Marketing Plan
I. Product
Patch Up offers products that are good quality apparel accessories that include a wide range of
colors and different backing adhesive options for the patches such as iron-on, stick-on, or
non-adhesive. The products offered are listed below:
● SCHS logo embroidered patches (options: stick-on/iron-on)
Designed with the necessary colors of the school, royal blue, and gold/yellow. Students can
purchase online or the store and select from a variety of different SCHS logos. Students in clubs,
sports, or other SCHS events can request to make a SCHS patch related to the clubs, sports, or
other SCHS events.
● SCHS patch that can be sewn onto any SCHS apparel.
Customers can request any SCHS patch they choose and will be sewn onto any SCHS apparel
and sold as an additional item.
● Personalized patch (options: stick-on/iron-on)
Students can upload an appropriate image via Instagram, Snapchat, or the store website and the
Patch Up business will import the image to the machinery in order to create the embroidered
patch. The patch is very durable, comes in a variety of colors, and has different backing options.
Personalized patches can only be purchased on the store website.
● Lanyards
An accessory that comes in a variety of colors where you can pin on your collectible patches.
● Keychains
An accessory that comes in a variety of colors and can be requested to apply a patch onto the
keychain.
● Baseball caps
These baseball caps has a wide range of colors and can be requested to sew any patch of the
customer's choice onto the baseball cap.

month will be devoted to the accounting tasks for the Patch Up business.
