Background - I made the background the Italy flag because my dad is Italian. I made it 
more faded instead of bright vibrant colors because I am not very close to my dad’s family, 
and most of them I haven’t seen since I was little.  
 
Soccer Ball - The soccer ball represents me in the picture because I play all kinds of 
sports and do a lot of activities. I put myself in the corner and kind of out of the way 
because sometimes I feel like I am kind of left out and not really listened to. I put myself 
on the red because I feel like my personality is more stubborn and I don’t want to do 
what I am told to do.  
 
Theatre Masks - I made the theatre masks to represent my little sister, Anabelle. I made 
her symbol the theatre masks because she likes to be in plays, act, and sing. They also sort 
of represent her personality. Sometimes she is really happy and fun to be around, and 
sometimes she is in a bad mood and is not so fun to be around. I put her on the green 
because in adults eyes, she is just a little angel, but kids realise that it is not that simple. 
 
Turpin Megaphone - The Turpin megaphone represents my older sister, Claire. I made her 
symbol a megaphone because she is a cheerleader for Turpin. She is also a dancer. I put 
her in the middle, because since she is the oldest, and it is the month when she had most 
of her dance competitions, a lot of times she is the center of attention. I made her in the 
center with all of the other stuff because most of the time she is out doing other things 
and not spending time with the family.   
 
Integrated Exhibits Logo - This represents my dad. I used this to represent my dad 
because my dad owns a business call Integrated Exhibits. It also kind of describes his 
personality. He is an artist and likes to design things. I put him in the green because he is 
always really nice and does not yell or get mad very much. 
 
Calculator - I made the calculator to represent my mom. I used the calculator to 
represent her because she is really smart and she is an accountant. I made the calculator 

on the red because red is a color that means determination and my mom is very 
determined. 
 
Netflix - I made the netflix logo because I watch netflix a lot and so does my family. We 
also like watching T.V. 
 
Volleyball - I made the volleyball to represent sports. Everyone in my family plays sports. I 
also made it because I play volleyball and really like it. 
 
Youtube Button - I made the Youtube Play Button because I watch youtube a lot and so 
does my family. 
 
Computer - I made the computer because everyone in my family has a computer and I use 
my computer a lot. I am probably on my computer for 4-5 hours a day. 
 
Phone - I made the phone because I am on my phone a lot doing snapchat and instagram 
and so is pretty much everyone in my family. 
 
Car - I made the car because my family has a lot of cars. We have 4 cars, my sister has 
one, my dad has 2, and my mom has 1. 
 
Multiplication Symbol - I made this to represent that my whole family is really smart. 
Everyone in my family is in accelerated classes or was when they were in school. 
 
Game Remote - I made this because I like to play games and so does my family. 
 
Ruby - I made this to represent my dog, Ruby. Not only because of her name, but because 
she is really spoiled and everyone treats her like a princess. I put her in the middle 
because everyone is always nice to her and treats her like a princess. 
 
Cross - I made the cross because my family believes in Christianity. I put it in the center 
because all of my family believes in god.  
 

 

 

Name 

 
The name “Meredith” is usually referred to “The guardian of the sea” or “great 
chief”. This makes a little bit of sense for me, because I love going to the 
beach and I can take leadership in situations. Meredith is a Welsh name that is 
now mainly given to people in the south. The name Meredith can be given to 
either gender, but it is more common for girls. Some websites say that 
“Meredith’s can be strong, dynamic, and rambunctious with an extreme 
personality ”. This definitely makes no sense for me. What does that even 
mean? That they are super loud and obnoxious? Another definition is 
“Extremely intelligent but can act amazingly stupid”. I think that this definition 
applies to me more, because I am really smart at school, but with other things, 
I can be stupid. Meredith is a rare name to be given in the 2000’s. It was 
mostly given in the 1930’s to the 1980’s. I’ve only ever met four or five people 
with that name in my life. 

The color that associates with the name Meredith is blue. A dull, grey 
blue that doesn’t stand out. The smell of your grandma's basement that no 
one has been in for years. The name that brings the taste of porridge to your 
mouth. The name that some people see as a beautiful vibrant blue, but some 
see as a dull grey with just a hint of color. So plain, unordinary, boring, but yet 
unique. It reminds me of a meadow where no one has ever been. An adorable 
puppy, that has never been touched. So worthless, pointless, a beautiful 
meaning that no one can see because they turn away at how it sounds. A 
name that I will never be able to escape from - Meredith  

Ever since I was little, my parents, my friends, everybody called me 
something else. Mer. I like this nickname more because it is not as long, and it 
doesn’t sound like an old person name. Mer is one nickname, but my parents 
also call me a lot of other ones. I am still called Meredith by schoolmates and 
teachers, but I am very rarely called it by my family and friends. They mostly 
only use it when they are mad. Most people (along with myself), think that the 
name Meredith sounds boring and old, but they don’t know the meaning 
behind it. 

Instead of being called Meredith, I would rather be called has an origin 
of English and French. It is a name that reminds me of someone intelligent 
and kind - Cassie. The name Cassie sounds like a triple scoop black raspberry

Most Important Thing 

 
The most important thing about Meredith Seta, is that she is a dice. Has so many 
different things in her life, along with many different sides to her personality. She plays 
many sports, such as volleyball, soccer, and tennis. She is very smart, funny, nice, and fun 
to be around. She is a sister, a friend, a student, a daughter, and many more things. 
 
She is always rolling a dice on what she is going to do, or how she is going to feel. 
Sometimes she feels like watching Netflix, sometimes she feels like going outside, 
sometimes she feels like doing, well… Nothing. But not only her personality she has to roll 
a dice on, it is her life. She doesn’t have a favorite day, or favorite time of day, it is always 
changing depending on how her family feels.  
 
A few sides of the dice are some known facts about her. Her favorite colors are 
light pink and yellow. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is watch netflix and youtube, 
and go on her phone. Her favorite T.V. shows are G​ rey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, ​and 
The Walking Dead. S​ he loves The Walking Dead because it has an interesting storyline and 
it is a dystopia. She likes Grey’s Anatomy because she wants to be a doctor when she 
gets older and it is an interesting show. She likes Pretty Little Liars because it has just 
the right amount of suspense. Her favorite Movies are the H​ unger Games ​Series, and P​ itch 
Perfect 1&2. 
 
One side of the dice is influenced by others. For example, her sisters. If she didn’t 
have them, or if they were different people, she would be too. Most of her life revolves 
around her sisters; instead of one person that her parents have to take care of and make 
happy, it is three. In her opinion (and everyone’s except for her parents), her younger 
sister, Anabelle gets the most attention. The large range of personality between her 
sisters give Meredith even more sides to her dice. Some might even say that she has 

hundreds- even thousands of sides to her dice. She is constantly discovering more sides to 
her personality and more things about herself.  
 

Meredith also enjoys most things about school (well… some). Her favorite core 
classes are social studies and math. Her favorite encore is orchestra. She really likes math 
because she is in advanced math, so she is really good at it. She likes social studies 
because they play games a lot and even when they are not it is still fun. She plays the 
violin in orchestra, and she really likes playing songs in orchestra. 
 

While all of these things describe Meredith, the most important thing is that she is
