บทเรียนสำเร็จรูป เรื่อง Active & Passive Voice

คาแนะนาการใชบ้ ทเรยี น

บทเรียนที่ทา่ นถืออยูน่ ้ี เปน็ บทเรียนทีใ่ ช้เรียนรู้ ดว้ ยความสามารถของตนเอง
โดยไม่จากัดเวลา ขอให้ทา่ นอา่ นคาแนะนา และทาตามคาชแ้ี จงแตล่ ะขัน้ ตอน ตงั้ แต่ต้น
ไปจนจบ ท่านจะได้รับความรอู้ ย่างครบถว้ น โดยท่านควรปฏิบัติตามข้นั ตอนต่อไปน้ี

1. อ่านจุดประสงคก์ ารเรยี นรู้ แล้วทา่ นจะทราบวา่ เม่อื เรยี นจบบทเรยี นนแี้ ล้ว
ทา่ นจะสามารถทาอะไรได้บา้ ง

2. ตอบแบบทดสอบกอ่ นเรยี น ตามความเขา้ ใจของทา่ นเองไปก่อน แม้คาตอบ
จะผิดบ้างกไ็ มเ่ ป็นไร ถ้าทา่ นศึกษาบทเรียนตอ่ ไป ท่านจะตอบไดถ้ กู ต้องในตอนท้าย

3. บทเรยี นน้เี สนอเนอื้ หาเป็นสว่ นย่อย ๆ เรียกวา่ “กรอบ” ตอ่ เนอ่ื งกนั ไป
4. บางกรอบ จะมีแบบทดสอบให้ทา่ นไดท้ ดลองทา เพ่ือตรวจสอบความเข้าใจ
ขอให้ทา่ นเขยี นคาตอบลงในกระดาษเปล่า ที่ทา่ นควรจะเตรียมไว้
5. ถา้ ตอบคาถามไดถ้ ูกตอ้ ง แสดงว่าท่านเข้าใจดีแล้ว ใหศ้ ึกษาเน้ือหาในกรอบ
ตอ่ ไปได้
6. แตถ่ า้ เมื่อใดท่านตอบคาถามไม่ถูกตอ้ ง ขอใหท้ ่านยอ้ นกลบั ไปศึกษาเนือ้ หา
ใหเ้ ข้าใจ แลว้ ตอบคาถามอีกคร้งั จนตอบถกู ต้อง แลว้ จึงศึกษาเน้ือหาในกรอบต่อไป
7. อยา่ อ่านข้ามกรอบ เพราะบทเรยี นจะไม่ต่อเนื่องกัน ไมต่ อ้ งรบี ร้อน
คอ่ ย ๆ ทาความเข้าใจกบั เนอ้ื หาไปทลี ะกรอบ
8. ตอบแบบทดสอบหลงั เรียน และหากทา่ นตอบไม่ถูกต้องเปน็ ส่วนมาก ท่าน
ควรทบทวนบทเรยี นทง้ั หมดอกี คร้ังหนงึ่ เพื่อประโยชนต์ ่อตวั ท่านเอง

Voice

3. นกั เรียนสามารถเปลยี่ นประโยค Active Voice เปน็ Passive Voice ได้
4. เมื่อกาหนดประโยคท่ีขาดคากริยาให้ นกั เรียนสามารถใช้คากรยิ าไดถ้ กู Voice

กรอบที่ 1

Active & Passive Voice

ประโยค Active Voice คือ ประโยคทป่ี ระธานเปน็ ผ้กู ระทากรยิ า เชน่
John eats bread. (John ทานขนมปัง)
ประธานของประโยคนี้ คือ John ซง่ึ เป็นผู้กระทากริยา eats

ประโยค Passive Voice คอื ประโยคทป่ี ระธานเปน็ ผ้ถู ูกกระทาด้วยกริยา เช่น
Bread is eaten by John. (ขนมปงั ถกู ทานโดย John)
ประธานของประโยคน้ี คือ Bread ซ่งึ เป็นผู้ถกู กระทากริยา eats โดย John

เราจะใชป้ ระโยค Passive Voice แทน Active Voice เมอื่ เราต้องการเนน้ ผูถ้ ูกกระทา
หรือเมื่อกล่าวถงึ เหตกุ ารณ์ทไ่ี มท่ ราบว่าผ้กู ระทาเป็นผใู้ ด เชน่ เมื่อปากกาเราถกู ขโมย เรามักจะ
พดู ว่า My pen was stolen. (ปากกาของฉนั ถกู ขโมยไปแล้ว) เราไมน่ ิยมพูดว่า A thief stole my
pen. (ขโมยไดข้ โมยปากกาของฉันไปแลว้ )

หลกั เกณฑใ์ นการเปล่ยี นประโยค Active Voice เป็น Passive Voice คือ
1. นากรรมของประโยค Active Voice มาเปน็ ประธานของประโยค Passive Voice เชน่
Active Voice : John eats bread.
Passive Voice : Bread is eaten by John.
2. เปลีย่ นคากริยาของประโยค Active Voice เปน็ ชอ่ งที่ 3 และจะต้องมี Verb to be อยู่

หน้าคากริยานน้ั เสมอ (จะใช้ Verb to be ตวั ใด ขน้ึ อยู่กับประธานของประโยค Passive Voice
และ Tense ของคากรยิ าตัวเดิมใน Active Voice) เช่น

Active Voice : John eats bread.
Passive Voice : Bread is eaten by John.
3. นาประธานของประโยค Active Voice ไปเปน็ กรรมของประโยค Passive Voice
โดยมีคาว่า by นาหนา้ เช่น
Active Voice : John eats bread.
Passive Voice : Bread is eaten by John.
** ถา้ ประธานของประโยค Active Voice เป็นคาสรรพนาม (Pronouns) เม่ือเปล่ียนไปเปน็ กรรม
ของประโยค Passive Voice จะตอ้ งเปล่ยี นรูปเปน็ กรรมตามไปดว้ ย เชน่
Active Voice : He ate bread.
Passive Voice : Bread was eaten by him.

การเขียนประโยค Passive Voice ใหค้ านงึ ถึง คากรยิ าในประโยค Active Voice ใน 2 ลกั ษณะ

ดังนี้

1. ถ้าในประโยค Active Voice มีคากริยาช่วยกับคากริยาแท้ เมื่อเขียนเปน็ ประโยค
Passive Voice สว่ นท่เี ป็นกริยาจะประกอบด้วย คากรยิ าชว่ ย + be + คากรยิ าชอ่ งที่ 3 เช่น

Active Voice : Jenny can drive a car.
=> Passive Voice : A car can be driven by Jenny.

Active Voice : He will drink coffee.
=> Passive Voice : Coffee will be drunk by him.

Active Voice : She has to speak English. (has to หรือ have to = จาเป็นต้อง)
=> Passive Voice : English has to be spoken by her.

Active Voice : Mark ought to do homework this evening. (ought to = ควร/ควรจะ)
=> Passive Voice : Homework ought to be done by Mark this evening.

2. ถ้าในประโยค Active Voice มีเฉพาะคากริยาแท้ ไม่มคี ากรยิ าช่วย เมือ่ เขียนเป็นประโยค
Passive Voice สว่ นทเ่ี ปน็ กรยิ าจะประกอบดว้ ย Verb to be + คากริยาช่องที่ 3 เปน็ หลกั
โดยส่วนท่เี ปน็ Verb to be นัน้ จะเปลย่ี นรูปไปตามคากริยาแท้ในประโยค Active Voice เชน่

Active Voice : Jenny ate rice.
=> Passive Voice : Rice was eaten by Jenny.

(Verb to be ใช้ was เพราะคากริยาใน Active Voice เปน็ ช่องที่ 2 = ate และ
ประธานของประโยค Passive Voice เป็นนามนบั ไมไ่ ด้ = Rice)

Active Voice : Mark does homework everyday.
=> Passive Voice : Homework is done by Mark everyday.

(Verb to be ใช้ is เพราะคากรยิ าใน Active Voice เปน็ ชอ่ งท่ี 1 = does และ
ประธานของประโยค Passive Voice เป็นนามนบั ไมไ่ ด้ = Homework)

Active Voice : She is making a doll.
=> Passive Voice : A doll is being made by her.

(Verb to be ใช้ is being เพราะคากรยิ าใน Active Voice เปน็ รปู ปจั จุบันกาลัง
กระทา = is making และประธานของประโยค Passive Voice เปน็ เอกพจนบ์ ุรุษที่ 3 = A doll)

Active Voice : He was making dolls.
=> Passive Voice : Dolls were being made by him.

(Verb to be ใช้ were being เพราะคากริยาใน Active Voice เปน็ รปู อดตี กาลงั
กระทา = was making และประธานของประโยค Passive Voice เปน็ พหพู จน์บรุ ุษท่ี 3 = Dolls)
