Summarize
Chapters 1-8

In chapters 1-8 of Tuck Everlasting, it describes how Winnie Foster meets the Tucks.
Meanwhile, Winnie lives in an overprotective house in the village of Treegap with her
parents and grandmother.Their house is on the edge of the woods they own but
never go into.The Tucks are getting excited to see their sons whom they have not
seen in ten years. Mae is heading off to meet them, but they say that she has to be
careful not to be seen.Next, She does not look in the mirror before she goes because
it says she has looked the same for the past 87 years. May takes along her music
box as she goes off to meet her sons.Winnie has a conversation with a toad. She
talks about how hard her life is and she decides to run away.That night Winnie heads
out to her yard and meets a stranger walking by who asks her about the woods and
the people she knows in the area. He tells her that he is looking for a family. Winnie’s
grandmother comes out to tell Winnie to go inside. Just then some music is heard in
the woods. The grandmother says it is the elf music she hasn’t heard in years.
Winnie thinks it sounds like a music box and the stranger is very interested in it.In
chapter 3 Winne knew very well what she would see in it; her reflection had long
since ceased to interest her. For Mae Tuck, and her husband, and Miles and Jesse
looked exactly the same.
In chapter 4 winne was having a dark discuss with the stranger about the spring
water. In chapter 5 The main thing was that winne did not run away like she was
going to.In chapter 6 the main thing was that winne and jesse where getting in to the
fight about are friends and jesse said We’re friends so you have some help. In
chapter 7 miles went out to the forest and had a memory monet when he drunk from
the spring water. In chapter 8 winne does not believe in fairytales but tuck is telling
her about the spring water but i don’t know if winne will believe him because she
does not believe in fairytales.

Chapter 11 Question: Who decides to have a talk with Winnie about the secret? Is

My Answer: Tuck because he was bringing Winne to the spring
and telling her about the spring and how you will live for eternal
life.

My Answer: Tuck is tell Winne like the spring water you live
forever but a life you don so Tuck is telling Winne that it is a

Chapters 18-25

In chapter 18 Miles and Winnie went fishing for
then Miles want to kidnapped her. . In chapter 19

elvis. In chapter 20 the constable had a plan to
kidnapped Winnie and take her to the stranger. In
Chapter 21 Mae shot the Man in yellow suit with

Winnie was realizing that she had to help the toad
because it was about to die from thirst, and i does
