Dear Jeremy Ranch Members,

Spring is finally upon us and we are starting to see small patches of grass appear! It has
been one wild winter and I can tell you that I am ready for it to be over so we can play
some golf. Over the winter, the Board and I have been working on updating our By-
laws to modernize them and clarify some recent questions.

Non-Resident Memberships
A Non-Resident Member must provide documentation of Primary Residence 250+ miles from the club. Primary
Residence is defined as where the member is registered to vote, where the member pays their taxes and where
the member spends the majority of their time (this is not just a second/vacation home).

If you have a Non-Resident Membership and your residency has changed over the years, please contact
Alecia in the Business Office to have your membership changed to Resident Status. This year, we will be asking
all Non-Resident Members to update their Non-Resident documentation.

Reminder: Non-Resident Members may play a max total of 32 rounds/starts per year. Non-Resident Members
may purchase one 9-hole 10 pack to use if only playing 9 holes or for league play. 18 hole guest 10 packs can
be purchased for guest play but cannot be used by the member if they hit their 32 round/start maximum.

Double Eagle Membership (Limited Use)
Double Eagle Members have a couple restrictions with their membership type. Double Eagle’s members may
play Monday to Thursday anytime and Friday to Sunday after 12 noon. They can play in both the Ladies Invita-
tional and Men’s Member Guest (Round-Up) but cannot play in the other Jeremy Ranch Majors.

This year the dues increase for the Double Eagle Membership was slightly more by percentage than the other
membership types and with the increase, the restriction on booking tee times only three (3) days in advance
was lifted. All members may now book tee times up to seven (7) days in advance.

In 2020, there will be a similar increase and the restriction of playing in Jeremy Ranch events will also be lifted.
If a Double Eagle is invited to play with another member during their black out times, they can play but will be
required to pay the $85 guest fee.

EZPay
EZPay is Club’s program for members to put a credit card/bank information on file and have their monthly
statement charged on the 15th of the month. The Board decided to change the charge date from the 20th to
the 15th day of the month in April of 2019. EZPay is a simple way to make sure that outstanding balances are
paid on-time. As a reminder, statements balances are due by the end of the current month.

If balances are not paid by the 15th of the following month (45 days), member privileges are suspended until
the balance is paid in full. Any member that is suspended will be required to sign up for EZPay going forward.

Leave of Absence (LOA)
Members on LOA pay a percentage of their dues to keep their membership current. Members on LOA may use
the restaurant and gym (hence the %) but may not play golf or use the golf simulator (even as a guest).

Welcome to SPRING! April has arrived and with it comes new golf clubs in the bag, new
clothing styles on the hangers and golf for everyone. We are very excited for the 2019
season to kick off! There are some exciting golf events that are right around the corner
(see the full list on the following page).

Please call the golf shop with any questions regarding these events or to sign up.
You can find more information under Golf on www.thejeremy.com. Sign up today on Facebook and become
a friend of Jeremy Ranch Golf & CC. We would love to see pictures of your golf outings or stories of career
rounds posted. We are looking forward to a great season with fun events and new memories here at JR!

Here are some friendly reminders that concern Checking In, Tee Time Policy and Pace of Play Policy:

When playing a round of golf we ask that you check in with a member of the golf shop staff at least fifteen
minutes before your tee time. You will receive your golf cart key at this time. This allows us to know when you
are here if someone may need to contact you and helps make our golf operations more efficient.

Jeremy Ranch allows its members to reserve up to two tee times per day, seven days in advance (may vary
depending on membership type). Members may make these times with the golf shop staff, on your phone web
link or on www.thejeremy.com. Tee times are limited and abuse of the reservation system results in tee time slots
going unused and members being unable to play. You must have a minimum of two players to make a tee
time. Single players may check availability with the professional golf staff. Please be considerate to your fellow
members and cancel tee times as soon as possible when things may arise.

The Pace of Play Policy has been designed to allow all golfers to complete a round of golf in less than four
hours for the first three hours of tee times and four hours and ten minutes for the remainder of the day. Any
group failing to maintain a pace of play that will allow this, will be asked to get back on pace by the Ranger.
If the pace of play does not improve, the Ranger may request that the group skip as many holes as necessary
to get back on pace. Please respect your fellow golfers by abiding by the Pace of Play Policy.
