1 Bullying can defined as an aggressive behaviour among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalannce. What Is Bullying? PART 1: BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THE ISSUE Bullying is referred to as the purposeful injuring, threatening, or intimidating of others, usually by aggressive behaviour that is repeated. Bullying takes place in a variety of situations, including schools, workplaces and online platforms.
Hate speech Spreading rumours Doxxing CYBER BULLYING Cyber bullying is a type of bullying that occurs online or through digital means. This include: Inappropriate sexual comments. Name-calling. Threatening to cause harm. VERBAL BULLYING Verbal bullying is saying or writing mean things. For example: Tripping . Pinching. Hitting. PHYSICAL BULLYING Physical bullying involves hurting a person’s body or possessions. Physical bullying includes: Leaving someone out for purpose. Spreading rumors about someone. 4 Key Characteristic Of Bullying The key characteristics of bullying are: It assaults their dignity, trustworthiness, competence, and self-worth. It makes the target feel responsible and guilty. It isolates and confuses the target. It is usually long-lasting, repeated, and escalates in severity.
In my opinion, bullying is a serious issue that affects many students and can have long-term negative effects. It makes the learning environment hostile and dangerous for students. It creates a negative environment for students and they can’t focus on studying. 5 For me , bullying aligns with the widely held belief that it is morally wrong and should be strongly condemned. Bullying can lead to long-lasting emotional and psychological trauma for the victim.
REACTIONS 6 Physical bullying like hitting is one of the common and serious issue that usually happened. It can cause physical health consequences such as physical injury Besides that, it can also involve long-term effects such as headache and sleep disturbances.
COMMENTARY 7 “The boy’s father said his eldest son’s behaviour and attitude began to change after he was bullied by seniors” Bullying has a massive impact on our quality of life. Victims of bullying may internalise their anger and frustration, which leads to aggressive behaviour towards others, including friends and family. Thus affecting their overall wellbeing and relationships with other people.

Social bullying usually involves a smaller, more localized audience, often limited to the victim's immediate peers or social group. Social bullying involves actions like exclusion, spreading rumors or gossip or social manipulations.

SET POLICIES AND RULES By implementing and enforcing school policies and rules that clearly outline how students are supposed to treat one another, school staff may help prevent bullying. The consequences for breaking the rules should also be made very clear. Schools can establish clear procedures for reporting rule violations so that reasonable consequences can be given to students when rules are broken. Reporting systems help track individual incidents and responses as well as trends over time.

Not just that, bullying may lead to disciplinary actions in school or workplace settings, affecting future educational and career opportunities. Victims of bullying often experience increased levels of anxiety and depression. The constant stress and fear of being bullied can take a toll on their mental health.
PART 3: CONCLUSION 14 In conclusion, bullying is a harmful and constant problem that has an impact on people of all ages, bullying can have lasting effects for both victims and bullies themselves. We can create a much safer environment for everyone by showing respect to everyone regardless of age, race and religion.
