Causes:
• The sudden movement of tetonic plates at the

ocean floor.

• Soil erosion and weathering
• The ground at steeps slopes slides down

Causes:
• The movement and collision of tetonic

plates produce high pressure
• Unstable plates will brake when

pressure is released suddenly

• The loss of a ground layer due to the flow of

underground water
