On April 13 2022 on Wednesday, a webinar program was organized by Shahril Ahmad, the
President of MTDC’s on sharing how to start a technology-based business directly through
the zoom meeting app. This webinar is recommended to be provide knowledge to new traders
to the business and for other traders who have long started a business so that their business
will continue to grow and advance.
RESEARCH EFFECTIVE WAYS TO IMPROVE A BUSINESS
There are 3 main points or tips that I have learn from the webinar talk to starting a business
with effective ways to improve our business process which is the first one is about when we
want to starting a business, what we need to is do the research about to know what is the high
demand from customers which is research the trending product between consumers to get a
high profit and avoid from to face a loss before develop a business to make sure the business
will grow and we will get high profits to refinance the capital we use and the effort we use in
building a business and all of traded need to trying to reduce the expenses as much as
possible to avoid from any problems in a starting business.
BUSINESS MODAL CANVAS
Besides that, for a newly traded business, they should produce unique items from other items
at a more affordable price to meet customers demand thus attracting customers attention and
to produce a newly product, all of traded need to research about the planning to starting a
business through Business Modal Canvas (BMC). Business Modal Canvas is strategic
management tool to quickly and easily define and communicate a business idea or concept, in
this strategic there are 9 elements of BMC that all traded can use it to develop a successful
business which is through customers segment that mention who is our target customers in a
business, customers relationship that can help all of traded to connect with their customers on
much more personal level and when we connect with the target customers deeply, the traded
will much more focus to understand their customers requirements. The next is record key
business resources is important to ensure traded business model is adequately prepared to
sustain the needs of their business including the website and so on. Develop a strong value
proposition is to express what is the business offers that better than others traded to attract
customers. Determine a key partners is about the traded need to select suppliers and strategic
alliance for advanced the business process and the next element is cost structure and revenue
streams that mention about how their planning to cover the all of staff costs, operating
expenses, marketing costs and fixed monthly charge per customers.
SET UP A SOLID TEAM OR EMPLOYEES
One of the most important asset in a business is employees because employees is so function
in an organization that serves to determine the direction and goal of the organization is
implemented and achieved. When an employee joins an organization, the individual
automatically agrees to loyal and contribute to sustainability for the organization’s goals.
Therefore, employees also need to give full commitment to the organization in turn producing
productivity through the responsibilities that their carry out even employees who are
committed to doing the job can produce effective productivity and this will make the
company business are sustainable and advanced.
Next, from the talk that I join I also get more information about what is the most important
ways to starting a successful business including the three main point that I explain above.
Thus, I will keep trying to apply the three ways that their sharing to us for develop our
starting business and the first method is about how I keep to do researching what is the
current demand from the consumers among students, employees and anyone else. In this
methods the first thing I will do is trying to understanding the customers and identifying their
needs because good customers research helps me to choose the best products in my business
and it is good for my marketing ways in my business also. For example, By identifying
information about my consumers that where they work, what they look at advertising, and
what are their taste on brands and products including set the best price for my products to
increase my sales. So that this method can help me to decrease the costs and to improve the
strategies to attract them and to see how this method has potential to make my business going
to successful.
Next, to apply the best strategies in business model canvas me and my team will make a
discussion on the planning and management to develop my business because with this
business model canvas (BMC) will helps me and the teams to thinking what is the new
business idea or concept and the effective technique that can provide us the solution process
to starting a business. Other than that, by applying the BMC me and the others team should
thinking and conduct research of each elements in BMC and the data that we collect can be
placed in each section of the business model canvas. The first elements is customer segments
based on geographical area, gender, age, behaviour and interests to fulfil the demand by
customers. The second one is customers relationship that can show from how me and the
others team are interact with customers through the journey in my business including interact
with them on social media such as Instagram, Whatsapp, and Facebook to get a good
feedback and orders from customers. To applying the key activities we should list down the
all activities in my business such as about how my team manage the marketing in my
business and how we delivery the products to customers including we will define the
strategies by make a contact to supplier to help us restock and produce our products. The last
one is we will identify how much the costs to cover our business to get a high profit.
The last method is how me and the others team are set up the best employee to keep my
company growing. The first way to keep my top workers is to offer them a better average
salaries and excellent benefits including provide a specific bonus because this can make them
happy and stay a long way to working and give a large commitment in my business company.
I will also allows them to speak up their minds to sharing any information or experience to
develop my business company including show them a respect on the decision they want to
changes the idea but the most important to set up the best employees is keep training the
workers in my company because by training them, they will have a up skills, improve their
performance and to remain qualified with the knowledge needed to accomplish their
everyday tasks. So that this methods can influences them to be more productive and efficient
work, and giving them confidence in their role. Besides that, through training they will learn
how to collaborate and make their work process are more efficient among the team members.
So to become a successful business we need to focus on what is important key to starting a
business and create the best marketing that fit on our product based on what do people want
to buy serta develop our leadership skills to be work hard and responsibility to our team and
customers because the business need to operate effectively without we working in it.
