GIANTS, WIZARDS, AND GOBLINS

▪ Instructions: For “Giants, Wizards, and Goblins,” there will be 2 teams
standing on opposite halves of the court facing each other. Both teams will get
together and decide if their team will be giants (standing tall with their hands
up), wizards (standing with the hands pointing out), or goblins (bent over with
their hands down). They must choose a first choice character and a second
choice character in case the other team chooses the same first choice
character. The instructor will say “3-2-1” attack and the teams will act out
their characters. Giants beat wizards; wizards beat goblins; and goblins
beat giants. Whichever team loses has to run to the safe zone (on their side of
the court) and try not to get tagged by the winning team. Whoever is tagged

dramatically. Everyone other than the killer is a detective and can guess who
the killer is. If you guess the killer wrongly, you will also have to die

To start the game the teacher will call out a different mode of travel (e.g.,
skipping, speed walking, running).  The taggers will try to tag the other
students with their hand.  If you are touched by the tagger, you must freeze
while pretending to hold a cup of coffee.  When another student sees this, they
will come over and say, “Roll up the Rim.”  The student who is frozen must say,
“It’s time for Tims.”  At this point the student is unfrozen and allowed to move
