Dearest Dadu,

We cannot emphasise enough on how much you mean to us and how much value you have
added to our young lives.

From holding us under an umbrella in our first monsoons to stopping the car to get food
from HOCCO on the way back from tutions, To taking us on rides in our strollers around
Shyamal to being the only person to buy us toys unconditionally. To taking care of us at
nights when parent's were out to never getting angry on us. To making us sit in your lap
even when we're 17 to making us feel home when our parents are gone when we are 2.

There is absolutely nothing more we could have asked for.

Your life stories and hugs are the embrace we crave for everyday.

Your diplomatic approach to problems along with your resilience are things we look up to.

You have always been the strongest pillar for the four of us, and we feel obligated to thank
you on this very special day and say a very enthusiastic HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADU!

Dearest Papa ;

Words can't express our love for you ,again and again you set benchmarks of love ,calmness,positivity
,understanding and sacrifices which are difficult to achieve. To step in your shoes requires sea change in nature
but efforts will surely make us reach there.

While writing i keep in mind individuals both sides ,but i am unable to trace any grey area from life you are living.
Though too small to judge ; Like i personally know my shortfalls.

You without expecting any accolades helped shyamalites achieve the deal ,& winning hearts silently from the buyer
& seller side ,which is always a win win combination feeling in any transaction.

Without your support our long awaited dream house would have not taken shape ; your life went with lot of
hardships but your attitude and positivity with smile never let it surface. You not sleeping still ,till we dont come back
home , from our youth till this new youth era. You giving me money to play cards when i was too young wherin you
never played & ensures best for us with available resources.

Today you are able to tell us correct approach ,if we are not right , in a fashion which anger cannot justify. Simple
,straight & truth ,one cannot escape the right words & eyes does the talking. You have definetly learnt from your
elders and i see mainly from our loving bhabhi & dada who were again epitome of love & simplicity.

Papa your help at factory & home, silently managing very imp.portfolios and ours entire system ; again a task which
we shy away from taking in hands as you do it efficiently & meticulously and its hard work ; which gives us ample
time to work on other sections. I wish till i retire you keep taking care .

At home taking care of us ,grand kids ,urvi & lavi and especially mom & masi these days in this tough corona kaal
wherein we acknowledged most of them ,was exemplary.

Assure you ; your legacy is in safe hands for years to come & will try to live with a true spirit & light you are showing.

Still words are not enough for any son to his father but now further thoughts on your 90th birthday, stay happy &
healthy & only partial retirement for you ,god gives u and us strength to achieve higher goals.

Dearest Papa,

We all wish you a very Happy 80th Birthday, which falls on this auspicious day of Janmashtmi. Special person special
day even God takes that into consideration.

We would love to say so many things about you and your list of qualities are very hard for us to match/follow. If at
all we can even match 25% of what you are, we would automatically be successful in overall life. Everyone has very
high regards for you and you command it by your simplicity in life.

Everyone sees tough times in their respective lives but to have your equilibrium at that moment is what makes a
person stand out. You have faced the situations very calmly with grace and done it everytime with your simplicity.

I look upto you in so many ways that if any situation comes up I think how would papa behave in this situation and
everytime I do it I have been correct. I have been around you all my life and in this 43years I have not seen you
talking even once with anger with anyone. You have been an inspiration to us all. You handle all the work or any
issues so calmly that even the hardest of issues seems very simple.

With Papa and mom blessings we have been able to finish our desired home as well. We wish to stay close as
brothers as we have always seen you with your brothers n sisters with all love & care for them.

You take care of the family with your affection, love and bond. From youngest to eldest u treat equal with love. All
our manpower &

colleagues has utmost high regards for you and everytime you come they are so happy to see you. Your work ethics-
discipline are exemplary. They are really tough to achieve as the benchmark is set very high.

We have been very lucky & blessed to have you as our father.

They say life puts across such people in our life paths, that help us learn, grow as a person, understand that our ego
stops us to learn.

You have been one such person I am very grateful to have in my life. You have taught me so much in life.

Patience and calm words can make much much more impact than angry words. Calmly reacting to situations and
letting go is always a better way to deal with problems than shouting and being angry.

Being quiet when the other person is reacting is the way to be. I am still a long way to incorporating this

You have never opposed the way I raise kids but would very lovingly let me know, rehvade. chokrao che… E nai kare
to kon karse.

The way you have poured love into us and our kids lives and have set an exemplary benchmark for all of us.

We may have difference of opinions and set ideas and have arguments but you are the thread that hold the beautiful
necklace of our family together.

You have very selflessly poured your self and resources without hesitation into making our lives beautiful. You have
seen to it that our kids are taken care of and even thought about their college educations and all small details.

Words don’t suffice as to how much respect we have for you and how much we look upto you in our lives.

N V Chokshi ફેમીલી ના ખરા અર્થ માાં head of the family તમે જ છો. સૌ પ્રર્મ તો શત જીવમ શરદ
- સો વર્થ ના ર્ાઓ. અને તાજા માજા ર્ઈ ને હરો ફરો, બધા ને મદદરૂપ ર્ાઓ.

તમારા સ્વભાવ માટે તો જટે લંા લખીએ એટલંા ઓછાં છે. બોલેલાં તો કદાચ બધા ભૂલી પણ જય પણ
લખેલંા તો બધા મગજ માાં સાચવી રાખે.

કટાંબમાંા કોઈને પણ મશ્કેલી આવે તો તરત જ પડખે આવી ને ઉભા રહો. કોઈની પણ માંાદગી આવે તો
ટટટફન તમારા ઘરે ર્ી જ આવ.ે કોઈ હોટસ્પટલ માંા હોય તો બીજા બોલે તે પહે લા કહી દો કે હાં અહી
બેઠો છાં તમે બધા જાઓ. આવંા કહેનાર કોણ છે? અને નીરાગ અને મોન્ટ ને પણ આવા જ સંાસ્કાર
તમારા તરફ ર્ી મળ્યા છે.

કોઈ પણ જાતનો ટવચાર કયાથ ટવના જમવાનંા આમતાં ્રણ આપી દેવાનંા એવા અમારા નીનાભાભી. કોઈ
પણ આવી જાય તો જમાડ્યા ટવના મોકલવા ના નટહ એવો એમનો સ્વભાવ છે.

રટવવાર સવાર ની ભાઈઓ ની બઠે ક અતલકાકા ને તયાંા જ હોય. પોતાના ઘરની હોય કે બીઝનેસ ની
કોઈ પણ સારી વાત બધા ભગે ા ર્ઈએ એટલે કર.ે

આમ તો તમારા માટે ઘણંા લખી શકાય એવંા છે પણ મારે જે કેહવ હતંા એ મે સંાટિપ્ત માાં લખી દીધાં.

વડીલ તરીકે ની બધી જ જવાબદારી તમે ખબૂ સારી રીતે ટનભાવી છે. ટનખાલસ અને સરળ સ્વભાવ
ના એવા અતલકાકા. આમ જ હસતા રહો અને ખશ રહો.

અતલુ ભાઇ

અતલુ ભાઇ અમારા સાતે ભાઇબહેનામા સૌથી મોટા. પણ ક્યારયે પોતાના મોટા હોવાનો દાવો કે
દેખાડો કયો નથી. પણ જરુર પડે વડીલ તરીકેની બધી જ જવાબદારી સહજ રીતે ઉપાડી લ.ે ફાલ્ગનુ ી
હોસ્પીટલમાંા હતી ત્યારે બે અઠવાડડયા સુધી, સવારથી રાત સુધી મારી સાથે બેસી રહેતા, સારુંા થઇ
જશે એવો ડદલાસો આપ્યા કરતા.

જ્યારે જરુર પડે કે ઇચ્છા થાય તો ફોન કરીને કહી દેવાનંુા કે આજે ત્યાાં જમીશ. અગવડ સગવડ હોય
તો પણ ઉત્સાહથી કહી જ દે કે આવી જા, નીનાભાભીને પૂછે પણ નહી. નીનાભાભી પણ એકદમ
ભાવથી જમાડે.

અતુલભાઇને ક્યારયે ટેન્શનમાંા જોય નથી, ચહેરા પર ક્યારયે ડચાંતા બતાવે નહી. એકદમ cool!!

અતલુ ભાઇ, તમને એશંા ીમાાં વર્ષની ખૂબખબુ શભુ ચે ્છા! આવનારા અનેક વર્ો તમે તદાં ુરસ્તી અને
આનાંદથી પસાર કરો એવી અંાતરપૂવષકની શુભચે ્છા!

મારા અતલુ કાકા
કાકા કેવા હોય એનુ એક ઉત્તમ ઉદાહરણ. એક વડીલ તરીકેની ફરજ એ ક્યારયે ચકૂ ્યા નથી. જ્યારે જયા
એમની જરૂર હોય ત્યારે એ હાજર જ હોય. હંમશે ા સ્પષ્ટ વાત જ કરવાની. આ વસ્તુ આ રીતે જ થાય અને
આમ ન જ થાય.
અમારી સાથે મજાક મસ્તી પણ કર.ે એમની સાથે વાતો કરવાની પણ બહુ મજા આવે. શ્યામલના હીચકા પર
એમની સાથે બેસીને ઘણી વાતો કરી છે. બધા સાથે હળીમળી જાય એવો એમનો સ્વભાવ.
આમ તો બધા જ કાકાને ત્યાં હક્કથી જઈ શકાય પણ અતુલકાકાનુ ધર એ મારુ અરુણ સોસાયટીનુ ઘર છે
(મોટુ ઘર). જવે ા છો હંમશે ા એવા જ રહો એવી ભગવાનને પ્રાથથના

Dear Mama,
Wishing you a very Happy and Healthy 80th Birthday! My earliest memories of
childhood at Arun Society have always evolved around the love and happiness we
alway got from all our Mamas, Mamis and cousins. Mama, you have always been the
most kind, quiet and the humblest person I have known. I have never heard you raise
your voice to anyone and always been the leading head of the entire family all these
years. Nirag and Aman are true reflections of you- always compassionate and full of
empathy for others.
I fell proud to call you my mama and I pray to God that may he keep showering his
