1. i.
• Environmental parameters :- Temperature, Humidity, Solar radiation.
• Environmental Processes :- Photosynthesis, Respiration, Growth

Ii. If we artificially increase the temperature, the rate of photosynthesis
will rise. However, at temperatures above 40oC the rate will slow down,
because the enzymes involved in chemical reactions of photosynthesis are
temperature sensitive and destroyed at higher temperatures.

2. water/ oxygen/ carbon dioxide/ sun light

The life of an ecosystem depends on the climate of the area. It includes
precipitation, temperature, air pressure, humidity and light intensity.
Temperature depends on the solar radiation. Solar radiation causes
transpiration of water from plants and evaporation of water from the
surroundings, regulating the moisture(humidity) of the environment. Light
intensity is a key factor for photosynthesis. Rate of photosynthesis depends
on the light intensity. Atmospheric circulation which causes wind is a result
of uneven heating of the earth’s surface by sun. It causes the variation of
precipitation patterns across ecosystems. Therefore, sun light is the most
important factor which controls the climate determining the global
distribution of ecosystems.
