What were those early years like? The taste for acting, starts with my dad, because he is a cinephile and from a very young age he took me to the movies three times a week, he was the cause that I fell in love with this job. How did your television career begin? My career began, playing a small role in the first version of Francis the Mathematician and then I did an antagonist in a novel. Called “the cage” of the Caracol TV channel. What difference do you find between theater and television? The differences are obviously of narration and obviously they are very different but the pleasure, for me is the same. I love acting, to be acting either on television, in film or in theater is a pleasure for me. Any characters you’d like to play? A character that I didn’t do and that I would like would be a movie superhero. Who have been the women who have most impacted your acting career? In Colombia I saw a lot what Margarita Rosa de Francisco did and I always admired her very much, Alejandra Borrero is also a great reference of those great performances and powerful women. Without a doubt Meryl Streep is incredible above all time. Margot Robbie is one of my favorite actresses. There’s a lot of power out there, there’s a lot of women performing! What roles do you remember fondly? I have the joy of having several characters that people remember and love as “Chepe Fortuna”, “the law of the heart”, “the lioness”, even Gemma in The “Queen of Flow” and well I have the blessing of not having one, but many, because I work with the heart, that fills me with great satisfaction and I have a lot of gratitude. How important have series like “La Ley del Corazón” and the novel “Café con aroma de mujer” had in your career? I always say that I am very fond of the law of the heart because it was the novel that ended up positioning me in Colombia and coffee because also a lot of affection for what is happening worldwide with the novel, right? Since you know him in every corner of the planet, that’s it, that’s incredible. What was it like living in a pandemic through your profession? Well, I had the blessing of recording “Café con aroma de mujer” during the pandemic, so I really had a few months living and recording in the coffee axis surrounded by nature then my job gave me that to be able to have freedom in a pandemic, to be active working and in and in nature. Speaking a little more about yourself, how do you stay in shape? Yes! I love doing pilates, doing a good exercise and knowing how to eat well, there is nothing else to do.
