Page | 7 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Parenting in the Modern Age In the fast-paced 21st century, parenting has become a challenging juggling act, as parents grapple with the demands of work schedules and the growing concern for the safety of their children. The constant evolution of technology has tethered many parents to their jobs, making accessibility around the clock the new norm. This leaves limited time for meaningful engagement with children, fostering a struggle to balance career aspirations with parenting responsibilities and often resulting in stress and guilt. The digital age has intensified worries about child safety, with parents navigating a minefield of potential threats, both online and offline. From cyberbullying to physical safety hazards, the constant influx of information requires vigilant parenting. As children become more connected to the digital world, ensuring their safety has become a daunting task. Amidst these challenges, the quest for a reliable and secure educational environment takes centre stage. Parents seek schools that not only impart knowledge but also provide a safe and nurturing space. Such institutions become invaluable partners in raising well-rounded individuals, offering a haven where children can learn and grow without compromising their safety. In conclusion, modern parenting is a delicate dance of managing demanding work schedules, ensuring child safety in a digital age, and providing quality education. The role of a school that prioritizes a secure environment becomes crucial, offering parents peace of mind

Page | 8 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 that their children are thriving in a protective and caring space. In the face of contemporary challenges, a supportive educational institution emerges as a beacon of hope for parents navigating the intricate landscape of modern parenting. Thank you, TSUS, for granting us peace of mind through your commitment to delivering quality education and ensuring the safety of our children. Mr. Aravind Kumar Parent of Arika Aravind - NK A

Page | 9 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Arjun and Poppy In a village bathed in sunlight's gleam, Lived Arjun, with a heart that dreamed. Four years old, with eyes that spark, In his world, a tale would embark. His Maa, beneath the mango tree, A storyteller, as wise as can be. A question lingered in the air, "Why's family precious? Please, declare." Maa smiled, her words took flight, A tale unfolding, pure and bright. Poppy, a seed, with dreams untold, In a bustling jungle, her tale unfolds. Poppy sought to rise so high, A tree so strong, touching the sky. Yet scared to face the world alone, She sought her family, love to be shown. Seeds together, a pact they'd make, Nourished by the soil, a bond to create. Through storms and sunny, hand in hand, A magical forest, they'd understand. Arjun, eyes wide, absorbed the lore, A seed's journey, he'd explore. So, like the seeds, our family too, Strength in unity, a bond to accrue? Maa nodded, "Roots that ground, In love and support, strength is found. Each a branch in the family tree, A tapestry of love, for eternity."

Page | 13 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Travelling: The Best Therapy India is a country blessed to be rich and diverse, both culturally and naturally. From the majestic yellow desert to the snow-capped mountains, and from the deep ocean to the dense forests, we have it all. With a total of 42 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India, we decided to witness the enchanting beauty of the very famous Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The mesmerising views from Guwahati to Kaziranga made us believe that our holiday was going to be one of the best till date. We had planned for a 3-day trip at Kaziranga, with 2 jeep safaris and 1 elephant safari. Elephant Safari was something very new to us. Words cannot describe the beauty that we witnessed in the forest sitting on the elephant back. With the dawn’s clear light breaking through the beautiful and tall trees, we saw some spectacular visuals of the world famous singlehorned Rhinos. The jeep safari was equally thrilling. Along with the single-horned Rhinos, we also came across a lot of other wild animals, like wild elephants, bison, wild boar, different varieties of deer, monkeys, peacocks, wild roosters. After finishing our wonderful time at the safari, we decided to head towards the famous Assamese tea gardens and Orchid Park. The Kaziranga Orchid Park is an abode of more than 600 species of wild Orchids collected from across the north-eastern

Page | 14 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 region of India. Our holiday would have remained incomplete if we had not gone shopping. Therefore, after the Orchid Park, we went to the tea gardens, bought some soothing and refreshing Assam tea. We also ended up buying some fridge magnets and wooden Rhinos as souvenirs for our friends and family. This 3-day trip to Kaziranga has indeed been the best holiday till date for us. The beauty of the north-eastern region of India can never be described in words. One must witness it upfront in order to believe it. Spectacular and Mesmerising will all be an understatement for the experience that we had at Kaziranga, Assam. Ms. Pratiksha Singh Mother of Shriash Sinha - NK

Page | 16 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 It Quacks like a Duck The concept of emergent properties is found in science as well as spirituality. It is a property that arises as something becomes part of a larger and larger system. Take ocean waves as an example. A wave is just many small amounts of water, like teaspoons, coming together. But studying one teaspoon of water won't help us understand waves. When enough water gathers, we need new math models and even new types of physics to explain it. So, the wave-like behaviour is an emergent property of water. Some people consider consciousness to be an emergent property of neurons. It matters today because Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT exhibit this kind of emergent behaviour. We have employed them in the service of predicting the next word by programming them to make contextual correlations. A language model whether small, medium, or large, is based on the same neural network algorithms. But once it crosses a certain size, what we call “large”, it can make surprising connections. If a real human being made these connections, we would unhesitatingly call them “inferences”. A real example of this is trying to ask it a new riddle, not part of the LLM’s training data. Researchers gave a series of four emojis to the LLM and asked it to guess the movie it stands for. A small language model struggled with the answer. A medium language model answered, “The Emoji Movie”, a wrong answer but

Page | 17 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 completely understandable given the model’s training data. An LLM answered correctly, “Finding Nemo”. Even though this was a new riddle, created for this exercise, and despite the fact that there was no difference in the algorithm of these language models, the LLM, simply by virtue of being larger, was able to answer correctly. Can we call this an ability to solve? Can we call this an inference? Is it thinking? We are witnessing an emergent behaviour that we do not know how to classify. The philosophical question that we need to answer is: If it sounds like it is thinking, expresses like it is thinking, talks like it is thinking, is it Thinking? Page | 19 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 The Beauty of Madhubani Art Madhubani painting also known as Mithila painting is a very old form of folk art of the Mithila region that originated in the Madhubani district of Bihar. It is made from rice paste and natural colours. The colours are derived from tree bark, leaves, flowers like marigold, rose and other natural sources. The paintings show human beings, animals, trees, flowers, birds, etc. Since ancient times, women of the Mithila region have painted the walls and floors of their homes with Madhubani paintings to celebrate occasions such as religious festivals, births, and marriages. The paintings on the walls are known as Bhitti Chitra and the paintings on the floor are known as Aripana. My thoughts behind choosing this pattern for my painting is:

Page | 20 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Fish: The fish symbolizes fertility, prosperity, and good fortune. It represents the presence of Goddess Laxmi. Fishes are often depicted in pairs in Madhubani art. Lotus flower: The lotus flower symbolizes purity, enlightenment, and spiritual unfolding. It is associated with the deity Lord Vishnu. Ms. Kalpana Movva Parent of Yashwanth Pinnamaneni - 4 F

Page | 21 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Hidden Carver in every Home Dear fellow parents, In the journey of parenting we all have become the trainers, tutors, guardians, guides, caregivers but did you ever think we were still lacking something??? Yes because we were never learners...we were thinking we are the great and proud givers providing our children with all material comforts but we forget there is a wonderful teacher in every child.. Indeed yes we as parents it's a great thing to support and raise children with all supports but that doesn't complete our parenting but only when you start to give the space and think deeply that your child just came through you and we must not own them but we owe to them for the beautiful lessons we have learnt only through them, think deeply how much the children have carved you as a beautiful person... Learning is a joy and when it's between parent and child it becomes blissful and then comes a wonderful home, society and ultimately a beautiful world where we no need to search for heaven as we are already in it, Learning is universal. Ms. Divya Jaganathan Parent of Shrinidhi Jaganathan – 9 C

Page | 22 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Technology: Which form will you choose? Hey there! I welcome you to an era of ‘technological boom!’ where the youngest and the oldest of us all, and even the ones in nature's lap are engaging with it, which was something not even predictable 20 years ago. As technology is developing as rapidly as Lightning McQueen, parents seem to show more concern than delight when it comes to how it affects their kids engaging with it on a daily basis. Let's think about one of their favourite food items - potatoes! Potatoes are actually filled with good vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, B6 and potassium. But if you feed them in the form of french-fries or samosas daily, the benefits would be highly diminished. Although if you give it to them in the baked form with the peel on, they will become your kid’s best friend and will flourish. And guess what…technology is no different! It all depends on in which form we provide it to the kids. If we let them spend all their time playing games that only make them feel good for a moment, it might not be the smartest choice. It's not the fault of the smartphone or tablet; it's about what we do with them! Now, here's the exciting part – technology can be like a magic wand for learning and fun! Imagine them playing games that help them learn cool things and make their brain go "wow!" In fact, imagine them making a game by themselves, now isn't that cool!? That's why I started Little Inventors in 2017. We have technical classes where your kids can learn about coding and robotics in the most fun and empowering way. In 2019, we even won the 1st and 3rd prize in the World Robotics Olympiad! Since then, we have transformed Little Inventors into a fun loving educational

Page | 23 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 place for kids from 1st to 10th grade, as the institute's teaching goes beyond the traditional classes, empowering our children to become active participants in its creation. The emphasis on coding, robotics, AI and hands-on projects is connecting with a generation of young minds that are not just students but become superheroes of this digital world! We are proud to be part of transforming young minds into creative and intellectual young beings through our fun intended and STEM education based online and offline classes, offering courses in the field of Robotics, Electronics & Coding for kids from age 6 onwards. If you want to make your kids to join the digital fun and learning, check out our website at littleinventors.in. Let’s collectively choose the right form of technology to provide to our children and make their future super bright! Ms. Shivani Jain Parent of Shyla Gupta – 4 B

Page | 24 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Is being a “Good” Parent, the Modern day paradox? The cliched answer to this would be “Certainly not. My child scores good marks, plays sport and does activities; more than enough to issue a certificate of good parenting”. But the moot question remains, are parents missing the muchrequired holistic approach in their Child’s upbringing? Are they teaching them enough life skills, gearing them to take on the vagaries of living in a competitive world? While it is a harsh reality that most new-age parents face challenges of high-pressure work environments and the duress of nuclear living, leading to children becoming sacrificial lambs in terms of the physical time spent with them. Often, this leads to parents over-indulging or pampering them with screen time and gifts to override this guilt, at the same time also risking the perils of excessive exposure to social media content (which is emboldening children like never before), further adding to their woes. Parenting, considered among the most intricate of relationships with no version as the gospel truth, sadly, doesn’t come with a handbook of instructions or a manual. Hence, parents need to be more instinctive and intuitive and may try infusing some of the below principles at home: a) Despite hectic routines, take out time and spend it with children via games/activities or engaging them in meaningful conversations and strictly regulating screen time. b) Keeping all communication lines open and inculcating an environment of trust wherein children are assured that (a) they won’t be judged if they want to discuss personal issues

Page | 25 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 and (b) they are also steered away from Academic peer pressure. c) Parents must deal with their own interpersonal conflicts in private; thereby providing them a harmonious home environment. d) Introducing them to financial literacy by fixing budgets for monthly spends and maintaining a ledger of expenses, plus encouraging Gifting only on special occasions such as Birthdays and Festivals, thereby making them responsible in dealing with money and understanding its value. Children are great imitators. So, give them something great to imitate ~ Anonymous Mr. Vishal Goyal Parent of Vihaan Goyal - 6 G & Vanya Goyal – 2 F

Page | 26 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Worth the Read– My Book Review Hello Dear Readers, The book review I am sharing with you all is the one which was a compelling read, witty, to the point and definitely relatable to everyday life, be it for professionals, or a family or anyone we come across in everyday life. So, to all the voracious readers, picky readers or a non-reader, definitely this book will not fail your expectations if you could relate the author's point in many situations or people in your life. Without further hype or too narrative, let me share the book, which hooked me so much and yes I did laugh out loud rather than reading it as a self-help book. Book: Surrounded by Idiots Author: Thomas Erikson Thomas Erikson is a Swedish Behavioural Expert with 20 years of training experience. His book is translated into 36 languages. ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ stays wrong for this entertaining book. Yes, the book cover is more appealing and very well describes what the author has conveyed in a simple language. Here, Erik has made a conscious attempt to divide people into four colors as Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. Every color has its own strengths and weaknesses. But the beauty is, the author has covered the bold and positive aspects so much, so that he doesn’t end up with a rift with any other personalities/ colors. He has also given few real life examples to support his findings about human behaviours. Though he has been training professionals or working population, I found it more engaging and funny when I could relate the colors with my friends, family and few who I interact with.

Page | 27 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 The funniest part was how he described or used mild sarcasm without hurting the sentiments of anyone. And how one color personality sees another as ‘idiot’ and ‘why’ according to them. Just that his ideas of mentioning which color will go with which color, or combination effect may not hold true always. We can just enjoy the book and think of it here and there, giggle!. As a whole, it’s a good read, I had been procrastinating to grab a copy and dive into reading. Hopefully whoever has read the book may agree with this review and few may like to read it, if not done so. Happy reading. Ms. Priya Ram Parent of Ramchandran – 7 A & Ramnarayan – 5 C

Page | 28 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Importance of Arts “A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.” – Leopold Stokowski In today’s fast paced life, while we all want our kids to excel in academics, parents often tend to undermine the importance of music as an art. We live in a digital era where every moment we are fed information, data and this continuous flow of information is making children just a recipient of digital content, is impacting their social life and is killing their creativity. Hence it is important that parents make their children pursue an art form that can help children find the right balance in terms of their overall growth. Music is one such art form that can play a crucial role in the development and well-being of children in various ways. Music is important for children not just as a hobby but also for all the gamut of benefits it offers. Music often helps children develop language skills as they hear words in the form of poetry. Various songs’ beats and rhythmic patterns help develop basic mathematical skills as it involves understanding of patterns, sequences etc. Different types of music help children understand the culture the music belongs to specially when it comes to folk music and increases the awareness around cultural diversity. Needless to say, music is important for mental well-being of children as it is an excellent stress buster and soothes mind. Learning musical instruments enhances creativity and originality. Children tend to experiment and improvise with musical instruments and tunes leading to never heard before music and rhythms.

Page | 29 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 All in all, music plays a multi-dimensional role in the overall development of children, shaping their emotional, social, and physical well-being and it is important that we parents encourage our children to pursue this art form. Page | 31 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Parenting in the Modern Age “The golden rule of parenting is to do unto your children as you wish your parents had done unto you” - Louise Hart These words have never been truer than in today’s world. We, as parents, have a much more relaxed approach towards parenting as compared to our parents. We believe in open communication; we strive to understand our children’s perspectives and we constantly put our children’s needs over and above ours and fulfil all their demands to the best of our abilities and at times even beyond. But is this helping our children in becoming a responsible and secure adult? We have often felt that our generation is the only one who always listens to both - our parents and our children. But in our quest to understanding and befriending our children, are we actually remiss in our parental duties? In our overzealous efforts to make life easier for our children, are we creating such an artificial environment that it’s bound to leave them completely ill-equipped to deal with the future competition, disappointments and failures that everyone is bound to face in life? In our endeavour to be their friends for life, are we raising dependents for life? All these questions have been hounding me without any clear answers.

Page | 32 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 The only thing I have learnt in my journey as a parent is that we need more balance in our approach rather than choosing one extreme over the other. We need to overcome our parental guilt and let our kids suffer occasionally instead of hand holding them every step of the way. We need to be able to, occasionally, prioritise ourselves without self-condemnation as ultimately, we want our kids to be able to do the same for themselves too. Most importantly, we ourselves need to be happy, secure and satisfied while striving for more as that’s exactly what we all want our children to be! Page | 33 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Book Review: Marginlands A powerful writing about the India that we seldom hear or witness. This amazing collection of words happens when a traveller is a nature lover herself. The author has written the book in five parts through The Desert, Veins of our land, An eroding margin, The Third Pole and The sound of cities. As you turn the pages, you realise the time the author has spent in each of the places, observed, documented and lived through the changing landscapes over months to tell the tales of her experiences. In The Desert, the author documents her understanding of the way of life in the ‘Thar’ about the efficient ways of water usage and storage through generations of knowledge about their landscape while speaking of the disturbances through limestone mining, wind energy setups, introducing canals thereby mosquitoes and diseases have disrupted the balance of the place. In Veins of our land, the author repeatedly explains the destruction caused to our rivers by constructing dams, obstructing the natural flow, increased level of river beds due to silt deposits that changes the direction of rivers constantly and causes flooding, impact to fish life, the endangered species like the Gangetic dolphins. An eroding margin dealt with the erosion of coastal Kerala, Sundarbans and wildlife impact due to lack of deposits of sediments, sand mining causing erosions and land reclamation from the seas.

Page | 34 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 The Third Pole talks about the glaciers disappearing, flooding and some interesting effects of introducing wild life in to an environment causing imbalance. Some amazing work being done on water conservation is discussed here through the ice Stupas of Ladakh. Finally, The Sound of Cities discuss the way of urban life and how nature has become weekend getaway rather than being an integral part of our lives. All of this packed with a beautiful surreal description of the nature she’s experienced and the pain one endears when it’s going towards destruction. Very matured writing and lots of learning!! If the word count can be excused, this would sum it up that the author herself quoted from Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac. ‘Civilization has so cluttered this elemental man-earth relationship with gadgets and middlemen that awareness of it is growing dim. We fancy that industry supports us, forgetting what supports industry.’ Mr. Bharath Yellapragada Parent of Dhruv Yellapragada - 2 F

Page | 37 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Importance of Reading In a world inundated with fleeting information and rapid digital interactions, the timeless art of reading holds an irreplaceable significance. Beyond its fundamental role in education, reading enriches our lives in multifaceted ways, transcending mere entertainment to become a gateway to knowledge, empathy and personal growth. At its core, reading is an unparalleled vehicle for learning. It serves as the foundation of education, fostering cognitive development and enhancing language skills from an early age. The act of deciphering words on a page stimulates neural pathways, improving vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking. Whether engrossed in fiction, non-fiction or poetry, each page offers an opportunity to expand horizons and gain insights into diverse realms of thought and experience. Moreover, reading serves as a conduit for empathy. Engaging with narratives that explore different cultures, perspectives and experiences cultivates empathy by allowing readers to step into the shoes of others. Through stories, we navigate unfamiliar terrains, encounter varying worldviews and connect with characters whose lives might be vastly different from our own. This immersion in alternate realities fosters compassion and understanding, nurturing a more empathetic society. The benefits of reading extend beyond intellectual stimulation; it profoundly impacts mental health and well-being. Immersing oneself in a compelling story act as a form of escapism, offering respite from the stresses of everyday life. Books become companions, providing solace, comfort, and sometimes even a source of inspiration during challenging

Page | 38 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 times. The quietude of reading encourages mindfulness, allowing individuals to disconnect from the chaos of the external world and delve into the tranquillity of their thoughts. In today's digital age, where attention spans are besieged by an avalanche of stimuli, the habit of sustained reading is a powerful antidote. It nurtures focus, concentration, and the ability to delve deeply into a subject—an increasingly rare skill in an era dominated by quick, surface-level interactions. Furthermore, the internet, while a treasure trove of information, often promotes fleeting, bite-sized content that lacks the depth and nuance found in books. In contrast, books offer a space for thorough exploration, presenting ideas coherently and comprehensively. In essence, the importance of reading lies not merely in the act itself but in the transformative journey it offers. It empowers individuals to broaden their perspectives, empathize with others, nurture their mental well-being, and sharpen their intellect. As we navigate an ever-evolving world, the timeless practice of reading remains an invaluable tool, guiding us toward enlightenment, understanding, and personal enrichment. Parenting today is a mix of old-fashioned wisdom and new challenges brought by technology and a fast-paced world. It's about finding the right balance between these two worlds to raise happy and healthy children. One significant aspect of modern parenting involves technology. Devices like smartphones and tablets have become integral parts of our lives. With smartphones, social media, and the internet, parents face new challenges in guiding their children through these advancements while instilling essential values. Balancing screen time with other activities is essential. Setting limits and providing guidance on healthy technology use can help kids develop a healthy relationship with these devices. Communication is key: Communication is another crucial factor. In today's world, where information is readily available, open and honest communication between parents and children is vital. Parents need to create a safe space where kids feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and concerns. This involves active listening, being approachable and discuss various topics including online safety, mental health and relationships. Teaching Emotional intelligence is also a cornerstone of modern parenting. Parents are more attuned to their children's emotional well-being, seeking to create safe spaces for

Page | 43 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 The Magic Of Colours Just look at these colours, they take you to their startling world. The world of love, joy & cheerfulness. Playing with colours is always amazing. It is just a flow; a magic happens between the brain and the hand. This is just the imagination. It may not be the way you always want it. It may not be the best one you dreamt for; it is just the small effort you give to make it colourful. It may be red, green, purple or it may be just black & white, or it may be just that pencil stroke, but in the end it's your creation. You may not always be skilful to make a masterpiece with colours, it is just your interest, your willingness. It is just your endeavour to put something on a surface. It may be a wall, canvas, a paper, a plate, it could be anything. I don't do it because I need to do it. I do it because I want to do it. It's not about how much effort I give, it's about how much satisfaction I get. It's not always for myself, it may be for the ones I love. Life is just like colours. It mixes with themselves unconditionally. They just go with flow. Playing with colours is the best part of life. Here are my few collections :

Page | 46 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Little Paradise in Himachal Pradesh It was summer vacation time again and we sat wondering where we were headed to spend some quality time in the lap of nature. We try to find pretty hidden places away from the maddening crowds where we can soak ourselves in peace and untouched quite nature has to offer. We have been away from our common love of the Himalayas for too long and our kids 2 and 6 at that time really wanted to see snow. So, after extensive research we found just the perfect place, Tirthan Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Bookings, reservations, shopping and packing were done and we were all set for our longawaited vacation. After an overnight bus ride from New Delhi, we landed in a little hamlet by the river called Ghusaini. We moved overnight from 42 degrees to 2 degrees and it was freezing cold. The home we were staying in was located by the river which was flowing with all the energy of a Himalayan River. The energetic roar of the Tirthan river was calming and scary at the same time. Wondering what to do next we reached out to the home stay owners who suggested a simple trek and promptly arranged a guide to help us. We had hardly reached the beginning of the trek when the clouds started gathering around but we kept moving overconfident of course in the capabilities of our legs. We were put in our place soon enough by mother nature, our legs used to walking on plains soon started to break down but we persisted. With clouds gathering fast, we tried to move faster on a very narrow path scared for our lives. Soon we were rewarded by the view of a beautiful, untouched waterfall in the middle of nowhere. We took

Page | 47 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 some pictures and moved forward. We thanked God as the clouds began to scatter giving way to a shining sun. As we were returning, we were left spellbound by a view of majestic snow-capped peaks of Himalayas. Next day with a heavy heart, we bid adieu to this magical place and moved to our next destination. Page | 48 TSUS Shri Swar-2023-24 Imagination to Realization For the next 30 seconds imagine something you would really like to be. Tick tick...30 ticks: Stop. I am sure you would have crossed many barriers and preconceived notions- and imagined yourself as Spiderman, Captain of Indian Cricket Team, Movie star, Scientist, Secret Agent, or even Prime Minister of India as popular as Mr. Modi :) You enjoyed the fun ride your brain took you to-right! But coming back to reality it may seem very difficult and all sorts of limitations may blur your vision. Let me remind you dear friend- we are living in an era of IT, Google, and AI. So, why put limits. Let’s see what a framework can do to take you from Imagination to Realization in a structured way. In my experience backtracking steps from your goal to present is a tedious but good approach: Step 1: Imagine the result and define all aspects of it. Step 2: Write what all is required to get to Step 1. Step 3 to z: For each of Step 2 to (z-1) items, repeat the same exercise till you reach the immediate next step you need to take at present time (month, year). Note: Do discuss with elders and spend time researching to define each step.
