Using Computers in the
Music Department
By definition Music ICT will include the use of some type of computing
device, whether desktop, laptop or tablet. The choice ot which will
depend on a number of factors: space, budget, and what you hope to be
able to achieve with the equipment you have.
Many schools choose Apple as their preferred choice for computers,
based upon their ease of use and reliability. Others pick Windows
machines because of the lower cost price and because most schools
have technicians on hand. If considering Apple, remember that we will
