Reunion - revisit, reunite, relive Bangalore, India 13th Feb 2016

I have been fortunate in my career to have led many successful teams
and I can honestly say, that of all those many teams, only one team
stands above all the rest. Without a doubt in my mind, the Motorola
Paging India team was, and is, Simply the Best team I have had the
honor and privilege to lead. You represent the very best of what
makes a team truly unique and outstanding and we should all be very
proud of all that we accomplished in the early years in spite of the
many challenges that we faced. I remember my time in India very
vividly with great fondness and consider that time, the best part of my
career and life. Thank you for being a part of that wonderful time
where we created magic and demonstrated the true meaning of
teamwork by making the impossible happen many times over. "

Dinesh Raghavan

Editor’s note

What is friendship?

The famous American professional boxer, Muhammad Ali,
once said "friendship is not something you can learn in school,
but if you have not learnt the meaning of friendship, you really
haven't learnt anything."

Dear friends,

Our theme "Revisit, Reunite, Relive” symbolizes the essence of the team spirit
that was the hall mark of Motorola during the Golden years between 1990 and
1997. Our first commander Dinesh Raghavan, a leader par excellence along
with Hank and Gopal showed us what is takes to succeed and made leaders out
of many of us sitting here today. Following in his footsteps were Hank and
Henry who strengthened us further with their own unique experience and
knowledge. Their presence here today is a sign of their love for this wonderful
team.

We are going to spend time together with our very own best friends in our lives.
Old Stories are like old friends. You have to visit them from time to time.
Today is our time to revisit. We should all thank the organizing team lead by
our Bala who with a Motorolan spirit of “Can Do” got us all together to
celebrate our golden days with Motorola. Nakkina, Manmurthy, Devaprasad,
Gayanthri CM, Devdas, Poornima, Sanjay Yellore, Rakesh, Padmini have put
their heart into making this event possible.

The task given to me was to chronicle and celebrate the accomplishments of
many who went out, followed their passion and carved a niche for themselves in
their chosen field of interest. This idea of celebrating a few, turned into making
a souvenir reflecting the life after Motorola for all of us assembled here today.

This E-Souvenir reflects our conscious effort towards savings Mother Earth.
This Souvenir will keep reminding you of this day and fill you with the
longingness to meet again and again picking up the lost strings.

Celebrate today and enjoy life………as we Revisit, Reunite, Relive the
Motorolan spirit!

The Leaders.. What did they do?

Dinesh Raghavan

"A leader is one who does not care about his rank and role but remains
always responsive to lead, shoulder responsibility, and achieve the goal in
such a way that everyone, in and outside the team, respects him for
touching their revered souls."-Anuj Somany

From India, went to Ireland for about 18 months before landing a role at what was then an
iconic company at the time, Palm, and spent 3 years there. After Palm, I moved to Thailand
and was part of the UK based Orange cellular group before being hired by the Thai
organization - True Corp. I spent 3 years at True before finally retiring at the end of 2005.

I have since remarried and am following my passion of truly living life - enjoying making my
cup of coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise, living a healthy life, learning a new
language, starting a new life all over again and taking the time to smell the roses and being
truly immersed in this thing we call life.

Follow Your Passion

World’s greatest batsman was once asked, Why do you practice so
much you are already a great batsman in the world, He replied, If i
don’t practice for a month, audience can tell the difference. If i don’t
practice for a week my wife can tell the difference. If i don’t practice
for the day i can tell the difference

Sachin Tendulkar use to set such high goals for himself, when we
think about Sachin what is the first word that comes to our mind?
“Talent”, was he born with talent, Talent can be developed.

When Sachin was 14 years he played 55 matches without taking a
break, morning he use to practice for 2 hrs. then play a match in
evening again practice. This he has done 55 times without break. It
was not Sachins talent that made him greatest batsman of all times it
was his passion for the game that made him great.

Talent always gives us an opportunity or first chance but post that,
when you reach to certain level it’s your attitude and passion to
perform. Passion is the energy that keeps us going, passion is the
driving force behind success and happiness that allows us all to live
better lives

with your life, be passionate."

Beauty is how you feel inside and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something
physical - Sophia Loren

Quest for entrepreneurship was stronger than professional career with her. It was a complete
transformation of her total personality. Ventured into Image management space, Touched
many lives with Humility by coaching many young girls in the tricks of Beauty Enhancement
and presentation. Been a regular visitor to Old age home on special days each year and try to
bring cheer on the faces by showing them how wonderful they are.

As a professional in the stream of beauty business she earned a lot of name, fame, money and
cherished success but believes that that it is all because of professional touch that she brought
to the unorganized sector.

Discipline was a part of her personality development and happened about 2 decades ago.
Glad to have this wonderful opportunity to recap memories of those wonderful years she
spent with Motorola.

HAPPINESS AND PEACE OF MIND – VERY ESSENCE OF LIFE‼

Our effort is to be happy, joyful and be peaceful always. But our physical ailments take us for
a ride often. The unique life style technique of keeping ourselves happy, peaceful, hale &
healthy, without having to wait at the doorsteps of a Doctor or swallowing any pills or piercing
ourselves with needles, is HOLISTIC HEALING.

The very term is suggesting that all other healing processes followed hitherto are incomplete.
Is it so? Yes, Obviously. Modern medicine treats just the symptoms, thereby implicating more
hidden side effects only to erupt as a different ailment at a future time. And all other systems
of medicine have one or the other insufficiencies. Whereas Holistic Healing helps not only to
bring back a person to the state of ease from ‘dis-ease’, but also uproots the very cause of
ailment, the Karma. This healing system stems from the Vedic Knowledge of India. Veda is
not any product of human intelligence. Any knowledge of human intelligence has its expiry
date sealed on it only to become extinct. But the Vedic Knowledge keeps on feeding more and
more insight to the one who strives with devout sincerity. Hence, this Holistic Healing
Knowledge could also be termed liberally as Brahma Vidya – as it explains the incoming –
existing or living, - and outgoing or departing (death) of our souls in relation to our mortal
coils. As the soul is all powerful, it gives us the power and technique to know and heal our own
body, mind, soul and also to help others through healing. All the Reiki, pranic healing and other
types of healing techniques practiced world over nowadays, find their roots very much from
this vedic knowledge only.

The way in which healing works is truly unbelievable, amazing and miraculous. But healing
does not happen as a chance or accidentally. It is a perfect method. We all know that breathing
is inevitable to live. We may spend lakhs and lakhs of rupees to treat our diseases for several
transplantations and even blood transfusion; but above all this, our blood system has to be
always energized with the enlivening energy in it. At least 50 times in a minute, our blood gets

Reunion - revisit, reunite, relive Bangalore, India 13th Feb 2016

de-oxygenated and again gets rejuvenated by the process of breathing which is involuntary.
We have to introspect what we spend to breathing, when we spend so much of money for
treatments. Also must realize that there is no life without breathing.

We breathe in the Life Source Energy from the atmosphere and breathe out our own toxins.
Actually for the sake of explanation, it is told as breathing in and breathing out and O2 and CO2
and all. Actually, it is an uninterrupted continuous process of energy cycle happening during
breathing. Our system is always bound and filled with the divine life energy around us. So,
whatever toxin is in our system, the moment we inhale, that toxin is transformed into again
pure form of life energy within us and the excessive toxins only are let out.

The diseases are nothing but collected stagnated, overhead storage of these excessive toxins.
A master of holistic healing with a unique skill connects himself with the unlimited life energy
around, and channelizes that divine life energy directly to the affected area of the patient. Also
as how one is breathing out the toxins, the same way the healer brings out the toxin directly
from the affected area. As how the exhaled toxin gets recycled as life energy, the same way,
the discharged toxins also get recycled as pure energy in the atmosphere. The uniqueness of
Holistic Healing is, it helps to unearth the root cause of the disease from its seed level, from
the very thought area of the patient which is called (PLR) Past Life Regression.

You all make us proud
