BOO-BOO BEAR

Boo-Boo is one necessary bear if you have small children. He’s kept in the freezer until someone gets
a bump or bruise and then Boo-Boo takes care of the boo-boo. Every new mother, mother,
grandmother and babysitter needs a Boo-Boo Bear. Very easy to make and an appreciated gift. Great
gift or craft show item.

Supplies:

 1/3 yd of polyester knit fabric
 Heat & Bond, light
 Poly Pellets, plastic craft pellets
 Boo-Boo (Pattern 1, top)
 Boo-Boo (Pattern 2, bottom)
 Boo-Boo Poem

Directions:

1. Tape the top and bottom bear pattern pieces together at the broken lines.
2. One third yard of 54” or 60” fabric will make three Boo-Boo bears. Cut out the ears and bond

two together, or to make it easier, bond scraps of fabric with Heat & Bond and then cut out the
ears. Pin or baste the ears to the inside of one bear piece and then match the front and back
and straight stitch, leaving a small opening on one side. Go over the straight stitching with a
wide, close together zig-zag stitch.
3. Fill with Poly Pellets until the bear is soft full. Sew and zig-zag close the opening.
4. Tuck Boo-Boo and a poem inside a zip-lock plastic bag and keep in the freezer.
