MANUEVERING ASSISTANT FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSON WITH AUTOMATED ALERT SYSTEM The most common problem for the visually impaired in this era is they need support and help to move around. Without the help of others, they can’t move by themselves. The maneuvering assistant for visually impaired person with automated alert system is an innovation that helps impaired people to navigate with speed and confidence by detecting the nearby obstacles using the help of ultrasonic waves and notifying them with vibration using vibrator motor. They only need to wear this device as a vest. The vibration intensity and rate of beeping increase with a decrease in distance; this is a fully automated device. It will be wearable technology for the blinds. One of the main peculiarities of this device is that it will be affordable. The ESP32 is worn like a device. It will be equipped with ultrasonic and infrared sensors consisting of modules. Using the sensor, the visually impaired can detect the objects around them and travel quickly. There is detection of obstacle which it has upper and lower range. It has two different vibration sound for the upper and lower range detection. Not only that, in case the user falls down, it also has fall detection, which it will get notified in the user’s phone with audio of ‘fall detected need help’. Besides that, it also will send notifications to the guardian of the user with location and also give a call to the guardian’s phone. Thus, this device will be of great use for the blinds and help them travel to different places. FACE DETECTION AUTOMATIC GATE SYSTEM Face detection automatic gate system is the one system that provides a solution to ensure the gate always closes and opens when it detects face. As Muslims, we are aware that dogs are forbidden animals in Islam, and this solution is offered at the Islamic Center PSIS, where dogs are constantly present. I therefore developed this system to ensure that, following this, no more animals would be able to enter the PSIS Islamic Center. Because this system is powered by solar, it has the potential to lower electricity bills. So, I believe users should be able to use this system in the future. To begin, this system uses a webcam as a camera module to detect any faces within the radius; if any human faces are detected, a signal is sent to the ESP32 to open the gate. The gate will remain open until the webcam detects no faces; if it does not, it will send a signal to the ESP32 to close in ten seconds. 90% of the results were smooth when opening and closing the gate, but 10% were stuck, indicating a network issue. In future suggestions, we could also include a database for this system to scan students' attendance using their faces. It may cause many problems on the first use, but in the meantime, it is more convenient to use. People's acceptance of this system clearly indicates that it has the potential for development. IGUARDIAN: VEHICLE SENSOR FOR CHILD SAFETY ALERT In today's fast-paced world, our lives often involve multitasking and managing numerous responsibilities, including the safety of our loved ones. As part of our daily routines, we might find ourselves faced with the challenge of ensuring the well-being of children left unattended in parked vehicles, unintentionally or intentionally. The iguardian: advanced sensors for child safety in vehicle is a smart alarm system designed to address this concern, employing technology to provide an extra layer of protection for our little passengers. This innovative project harnesses the power of various sensors and a user-friendly microcontroller to create a vigilant system capable of continuously monitoring the conditions inside a car. Built on the principle of simplicity and effectiveness, the child safety guardian focuses on ease of use for individuals with a general science background. Imagine a system that can detect any motion within the car and monitor the interior temperature, alerting caregivers when conditions could potentially pose a risk to a child's safety. This is precisely what the child safety guardian aims to achieve. The project integrates a passive infrared (pir) motion sensor, temperature sensor, buzzer, and a system (blynk app) to communicate alerts to caregivers. The pir motion sensor acts as a vigilant observer, detecting any movement within the car, while the temperature sensor ensures that the interior environment remains within safe limits. When triggered by detected motion and an exceeded temperature threshold, the system activates an alarm, alerting caregivers on their mobile phones. Designed with accessibility in mind, the iguardian: advanced sensors for child safety in vehicle utilizes familiar technologies like arduino, making it approachable for those with a general interest in science and technology. By implementing this smart alarm system, we aim to contribute to the safety and well-being of children, providing an extra set of watchful eyes to enhance the caregiving experience. AUTO UNLOCK SAFETY WINDOW GRILLE BY USING ARDUINO UNO (SWG) In this era of globalisation, many residents prioritise security by installing window grille to deter potential intruders. However, conventional grilles pose a significant risk during an emergency, especially a fire, as they can block the escape route for occupants. Hence, the project is to design and prototype Auto Unlock Safety Window Grill (SWG) using Arduino Uno. The main materials in this project are an Arduino Uno, a buzzer alarm, and a smoke detector. The combination of these three materials can increase efficiency in detecting fires and disseminating fire warnings. The scope of study for this project is the production and testing processes at Sabak Bernam Fire Station. The main objective of this project is to design and produce a prototype auto-unlock safety window grille (SWG) using Arduino Uno. Secondly, to test the efficiency of the smoke detector and the effectiveness of the buzzer alarm. Thirdly, to compare the safety window grille (SWG) by using an Arduino Uno with an existing grille window. In conclusion, the objective of successfully comparing SWG with existing window grilles has been achieved. The results indicate that the longest time taken using SWG is 3 seconds, whereas using the existing window grilles takes 16 seconds. The percentage of time savings is 80% - 87%. The product produced meets safety standards and can assist fire victims in self-rescue. This project is to provide early fire warning and facilitate victims in self-rescue. Therefore, this innovation can be used for the long term and is environmentally friendly. Additionally, this innovation has significant potential and can be commercialized. A STUDY OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER THROUGH COMPOSTING PROCESS Malaysia is a country rich in natural beauty. However, Malaysia faces various challenges in maintaining its natural sustainability. There are many incidences of open burning and littering occur such as dry leaves are often burned for disposal and food waste being thrown in landfills, causing landfills to overflow and overall causing environmental pollution. The study of producing organic fertilizers through composting process is one of the alternatives to reduce environmental pollution. This research aims to produce organic fertilizer from natural waste by composting process and evaluate the nutrient content such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Pottasium based on NPK test. Furthermore, we assess its impact on crop yield, soil health and plant growth. The research involves the collection of organic waste from Parit 7 Gambut including food waste, dry leaves, coffee and tea grounds and grass to produce organic fertilizer through the compost process and will be tested for its effectiveness on the cultivation of chili trees during six months. There are three types of fertilizer produced, namely type A is a mixture of dry leaves, grass and water while type B is a mixture of dry leaves, grass, coffee and tea grounds and water and type C is a mixture of dry leaves, food waste and water. Furthermore, there are four types of samples for planting chili trees, namely control sample that is not applied with fertilizer, then sample A is mixed with type A fertilizer while sample B is applied with type B fertilizer and sample C is the sample that is applied with type C fertilizer. The resulting compost is then evaluated for its nutrient content which is sample A is the most fertile tree because it has the highest nitrogen and potassium, sample B is a tree that has a large number of chili fruits because of its high phosphorus value, then sample C is a tree that is less fertile because of a lack of nutrients, phosphorus and potassium. Two ratios for concrete mixing are used which are 1:2:3 and 1.5:1:2. A total of 12 samples for the cube test and 1 sample for the pontoon were used as test materials to meet the objectives of this study. Concrete cube specimens were tested after curing periods of 7 and 28 days. The results of the tests that have been carried out show that the concrete mixture that produces the highest average compressive strength is a mixture ratio of 1.5:1:2 which is 18.218 N/mm while for the buoyancy test, the maximum weight that can be accommodated by the pontoon is 25 kg.
