Greenwood Funeral Homes and Cremation

FORT WORTH • ARLINGTON

Compare Ownership

“ Ownership structure In any business, whether
makes all the difference.” you are a grocery store or an
NFL football team, Ownership

structure makes all the difference.

This is especially true in the funeral home and cremation

service providers. In selecting a funeral home, it is

important to know who owns the funeral home or

whether they have their own on-site crematory.

Greenwood Funeral Homes and Cremation is not publicly
or family owned. We believe our unique ownership is a
preferred alternative to both. As part of the Mount Olivet
Cemetery Association (MOCA), our ownership is unlike
any funeral home in the State of Texas. No individual or
corporation has proprietary interest in the Association.

Compare Experience

“ The greatest loss deserves When choosing a funeral
the greatest care.” home, don’t just look at the
years the funeral home has

been in business; look at

the collective years of experience of the directors and

staff. Just like a family's minister at the time of need, the

directors and staff are important considerations.

Nothing takes the place of experience. Greenwood has
a rich history and an experience-filled legacy that dates back
more than 100 years. Today, Greenwood Funeral Homes and
Cremation serve more families in Tarrant County than any other
funeral home. This trust is truly an honor, but also a humbling
responsibility, knowing that every client family who comes
through our doors is suffering their world’s greatest loss — a
loss that goes beyond description. Funeral and cremation
services demand time-tested experience.

Compare Facilities

“ Beautiful places help to Before making your
preserve beautiful memories.” selection, the look and feel
of the funeral home will be

important. Every area and

amenity of a funeral home will contribute to the memories

of this time. Consider these: Is the physical structure and

landscape of the building well maintained? Are all the staterooms in

good repair? Is the furniture comfortable? Is the chapel adequate?

If you are considering cremation, is the crematory onsite and company

owned? Don’t forget, every detail is important.

Whether you are the family or a friend, funeral home
and crematory features are essential to making an informed
decision. Each of our three Tarrant County locations are
beautiful, both inside and
out. Daily, great efforts are
made to ensure the comfort
of all who visit our funeral
homes, and no detail is too
small to consider. Whether it
is the art on the walls or the
area’s most sophisticated
state-of-the-art crematory,
our goal is to greet everyone who enters our doors with a
trusted sense of peace and comfort.

Compare Value

“ Your true value depends on Few businesses are
what you are compared to.” monitored as much as
funeral and cremation

service providers — and

rightly so. The emotions that surround a grieving family

make them vulnerable to the few who would take advantage

of their grief. As important as price protection is to a family,

unfortunately, there are no agencies that monitor a funeral

home's value. In selecting funeral and cremation services,

compare price, but don’t forget to compare the value of the

services and facilities offered.

Greenwood’s prices are among the most competitive in
the market. We know because we check. But our value is

beyond just competitive,
it is exceptional. We truly
believe, and work hard to
provide, the highest levels
of service and quality. Our
ownership structure permits
this — and our Association
leadership insists upon it.
We encourage families to compare our prices — our quality
— and our value.

Our Invitation

When possible, we encourage
every family to make arrangements
in advance, whether they plan
with us or with another firm. Our
research confirms that virtually
every family who plans with us in
advance is grateful they did so at
the time of need.

If planning in advance makes
sense to you, we cordially invite
you to call to schedule a
guaranteed no-obligation meeting
with one of our Family Service
professionals. We also invite you
to tour our funeral home and then
make the decision that is best for
your family.
