Subject of the Photo The photo you select may be the most important part of the photo printing process. The following helpful tips will guide you through the photo selection process and help ensure your custom photo print is of the utmost quality. Ensure that the subject is in the middle of the photo to allow for the best possible photo placement within the design template. If your subject is near the edge of a photo, unbalanced cropping may result. Attributes to ensure a high-quality photo print: • Your Beloved Pet/subject of the photo is in focus and near the middle of the photo. • A photo that is at least 4" x 6" and the subject is large and the primary focus of the image. • The orientation of the photo matches the chosen design template. • There is adequate space for cropping – at least a .25 inch around your Beloved Pet/subject. ✓ X 4 SELECT YOUR PHOTO
Attributes that may cause a poor-quality photo print: • Your Beloved Pet/subject is out of focus, blurry, or near the edge of the photo. • A photo that is smaller than 4" x 6" or where the subject of the photo is very small and needs to be enlarged. • Your Beloved Pet/subject of the photo is very small – image quality will be lost when the photo is enlarged to fill the design template. • The photo is of a group – group photos often make it difficult to crop properly. If a group photo must be used, please indicate your Beloved Pet. Photo Size and Quality Photo Orientation A high resolution photo ensures the highest print quality. A small photo that requires enlargement to fill the frame, or a photo with low resolution may result in poor print quality. A photo that does not match the orientation of the chosen design template may result in unbalanced cropping.
