In January 2016, I found myself unemployed, depressed, with
a lack of self-confidence. I did not know what the next step
in my life was going to be. I was introduced to a new journey
“Dress for Success Going Places Network. I had the honor of
meeting various empowered women that encouraged and
advised me that the “biggest investment I’ll ever make is the
one I make in myself.” I am currently employed at a Medical
facility with 4 locations in NJ. I appreciate the work and
guidance I received at Dress for Success and I look forward to
helping others.

Roslyn Smith

Roslyn is a Rutgers-Newark University graduate with a
Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 2013, Roslyn participated
in the Dress for Success Morris County Going Places Network
job readiness program, which provided her with insight
into the current trends of the competitive job market. “I
learned how to package my skills into a professional brand.
In addition, GPN created networking opportunities which
led me to being hired as a Program Analyst in a Fortune 50
company.” Roslyn is passionate about the mission of Dress for Success and since her
graduation from the Going Places Network program she has returned to volunteer at
the Morris County chapter in several capacities.
