Greetings!
Welcome to Destiny Conference 2019!
All of us, at some time in our lives, have come
to a place where we have had enough! But – we
don’t always know how to deal with how it makes
us feel when we’re in that place or how to stop the
madness!!! We’re tired of the same cycles – repeat-
ing them over and over again. We’ve grown weary of the “usual” especially when we
know that “greater” is just a step away. We’ve got to deal with some stuff, address
those issues that we think we’ve shoved out of sight and simply admit once and for
all that enough is enough! The definition of ENOUGH, as it is used for the theme
of this conference, is an exclamation! It is used to express an impatient desire for
the cessation of undesirable behavior or speech.
God told the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 2:3 (Msg) -
“You’ve been going around in circles in these hills long enough; go north.” In the
King James Version –“ Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you
northward.” They were roaming around – not making any progress – not accom-
plishing the desired goal, which was to get to Canaan – the promised land. God has
promised us better. He has promised us victory. He has promised us greater. It
makes no sense for us to get so close and never accomplish the God-ordained goal.
After we make it clear that we’ve had ENOUGH, let’s stop going around in circles
and go north!
In His Service & For His Glory,
Rev. Dr. Mamie S. Tolbert
