Our Course and Grounds crew also took
the opportunity to; collect and compost all
the leaves, make small repairs to the course
including sodding worn areas and fix up the
bridges, culverts and rain shelters.

We also started the winter tree removal pro-

diseased and dying or generally in decline
and on their way out for removal. Trees that
can appear healthy and full of leaves may
in fact have large cracks or decay in their
structural stems making them dangerous.

Trees chosen for removal are thoroughly
vetted by the Tree and Course and Grounds
committees then approved by the Board.
This year’s list is available on the member’s

Please note that given the large volume of
trees on the property there is considerable
work required just to maintain them for
their own health, as well as for the safety of
the users of our property. Removal of trees
is a vital component of tree maintenance
and trees chosen for removal are taken
down for good reason.
