On a first-come, first-served sign up basis, meeting rooms and 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Reminder 9.06.022

The following is prohibited at all parks and facilities: “Aggressive Animals”
Skating/rollerblading, alcohol, bike riding, tackle football,
organized soccer, skateboarding and unleashed dogs. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or permit to
remain any dog or other animal that is noisy, aggressive
2 or dangerous in the presence of human beings, or other
animals, within the limits of any City park or City facility.
Dogs or other animals that exhibit characteristics of
aggressive or unpredictable temperament or behavior in
the presence of human beings, other dogs or other
animals, as determined by the department director or
City park staff, will not be permitted at City parks and the
owner/caretaker will be asked to remove such animals.
The failure of the owner/caretaker to comply with such
removal request shall constitute a violation of this chapter.

Each park offers the residents a meeting room with a kitchen facility and a variety of activities such as billiards, softball, baseball,

KIDS CLUB

The City of Commerce Department of Parks and Recreation offers an “After School Kids Club” at Rosewood Park which is

an after school program for young students from TK to 8th grades enrolled at Rosewood Park School and Bandini

Elementary School. Upon dismissal from school, students who are registered in the program are met by trained

City staff at a designated location at the schools. The group of students and staff walk to Rosewood Park from

Rosewood Park School. The students at Bandini Elementary School are shuttled to Rosewood Park.

Students from other schools are also welcomed, however these students will need to be personally

transported to Rosewood Park by a parent/guardian/caretaker from school. During the program, the students

are offered a snack, recreational activities, and homework study time until they are picked up by an authorized

parent/guardian/caretaker. The children in the program are also encouraged to participate in park programs

and league sports.

After School Kids Club is conducted every school day (except on holidays and teacher in-service days), Monday thru Friday, after school until
