TEACHER’S DIARY

NAME : __________________________

SUBJECT : ____________
SESSION : ____________

GUIDELINES

Dear Teachers,

Welcome to another new session – it can be made more fulfilling, rewarding and enjoyable if you
choose to make it so!!

• The first few pages of the diary has been dedicated to your lesson plan(s) for the month.
This should include how you plan to start the lesson, the plan of activities to be done, the
methodology undertaken .

• The diary has a page dedicated to your Department Meetings. By noting down the key points
agreed upon, you will always be abreast with the work planned.

• The daily plan for you has been reduced to just a column.
The idea is for you to quickly jot down the work completed on schedule/ work carried forward.
So each page has the schedule for 6 working days.

Teacher ’s• The Review page has been made more precise.
We seek your inputs on what innovations were introduced by you.
An inspirational quote that has stayed with you!
Some SDG goals met during the course of teaching.

• A few pages have been kept aside to keep a record of parent and teacher interaction.

DiaryWe do care for the students in our care-but in case of errant students, it is important to keep

parents informed.
These pages are VITAL as record specially when parents do not respond to calls or messages.

• The last pages of the diary have plastic leaves to keep class lists and record of marks.
Do ensure that these are updated with correct entries.

I am hopeful the teacher’s diary will help you keep a complete record of your inputs in the school.
It should be maintained meticulously and regularly.
The teacher’s diary is your ready reckoner and should be with you ALWAYS. (Whether at home or
school)

Thank you, dear teacher, for being part of Team DPS Gurgaon!
May you be a real Role Model for your students – one whom they will remember fondly as the one
who made the class come alive – who taught them right from wrong – and who was firm and loving…
just like a parent!!
