EDITOR'S NOTE
Happy October! As always, I’m honored to have the opportunity to
serve as the editor of this newsletter and I could not be successful
without an amazing team behind me. As annual RGM Conference 2019
comes to a close, we have an opportunity to reflect upon some of the
highlights of this year’s conference.
The conference organising committee has outdone themselves once
again! As KFC continues to evolve, keeping pace with the changes can
be quite a challenge. Our conference theme , “Unleashing the Hero
Within”, is indicative of our need to embrace change and meet those
challenges head on. This year's conference was filled with thought
provoking sessions and activities which allowed us to better address
these changes while enhancing our customer experience and figure out
ways to better serve them.
I would like to extend our congratulations to all participants,
especially the award winners, who stood out on the day as being
reflective of the kind of high performers we all aspire to become.
With the RGM Conference 2019 now behind us we would like to thank
everyone who attended and those involved with contributing to

PLANERY
Over two days at the Elite Hotel in Nathiagali
(roughly 86 kms up north from Islamabad);
together we experienced
lots of curated programs and events and
literally 100s of performances.
We are very happy about the conference.
So far, we received extremely positive
feedback from our RGMs – Humayun Sajid

This year’s RGM Conference broke
attendance records for the fourth straight year
as we celebrated the conference with the
theme titled “Unleashing the Hero Within”.
With over 100 participants (including 5 first-
timers!) from 4 region, our event continues to
be the largest restaurant family gathering in
Pakistan, no other food brand does this
activity at this scale.
One week after the conference the various hymns
from the music concert are still echoing in our ears
and on the streets of Nathiagali we still find some
desperately lost bill boards (welcoming RGMs) –
or at least pieces of them.
RGM conference with the theme titled
‘UNLEASHING THE HERO WITHIN’ has been a
huge success and the conference feedback is
very positive. A big thank you to all the LT
members, our partners in the industry, and the
RGMs of course; our Super Hero’s for making it
such a memorable conference.

The keynote address by Humayun Sajid
kicked off the conference with an
engaging and interactive session. The
Chief Operation Officer thanked everyone
for joining the conference where he dived
deep into last year’s performance.
Humayun also talked about the
importance running great restaurant and
executing World Class Operations; talked
about maintaining a good culture in our
restaurants and going forward what steps
needs to be taken to scale up the
business.
Raza Pirbhai, Chief Executive Officer spoke candidly about navigating difficult conditions in
the past and the business realities coming forth; he also shared how despite it all, we still find
joy and connection in the creative process of making KFC Pakistan a Great Place to work.
