2.คานามลงท้ายดว้ ย o, s, sh, ch, x ให้เตมิ es ลงทา้ ยไดเ้ ลย
เช่น potato → 3 potatoes มันฝรงั่ 3 หัว box → 5 boxes กลอ่ ง 5 ใบ
3.คานามลงทา้ ยด้วย y หนา้ y เป็น พยัญชนะ ใหเ้ ปลย่ี น y เปน็ i แล้ว เตมิ es ได้เลย
เช่น city → cities lady → ladies
- หากคานามลงทา้ ยด้วย y หน้า y เป็น สระ a , e , i , o , u ให้เตมิ s ได้เลย

4.ถ้าคานามลงท้ายด้วย f, fe , ef, ให้เปล่ยี นเปน็ V แลว้ เติม es
