Zurich Risk Assessment
of Nestlé Pakistan’s factories
Marc Scheadeli from Zurich Risk Engineering in Vevey visited Pakistan to conduct a Risk
Assessment of Nestlé Pakistan’s factories and DCs including HUB Warehouse in Karachi.

Nestlé Pakistan – led the Risk Management
activity across all sites. He played a key role
in ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
for implementation of the previous audit
recommendations and prepared the sites
for the new critical evaluation.
As a result, Nestlé Pakistan was able to
achieve a good Audit grading for five sites
(SKP Factory, SKP-DCs, KBF, PQ-Khi, and
HUB-Khi) and Excellent for Islamabad
Factory in the Fire Loss Prevention
category. This is the best ZRE Audit grading
for Pakistan market so far, which reinforces
our confidence in the safety and risk
management standards at Nestlé Pakistan.

Group Audit (NGA) as part of certification programme for being
compliant in the audit approach and implementation of best practices
in line with Nestlé’s Group certification programme.

Nestlé Pakistan-IFC’s
Joint Venture
A joint venture by the name of ‘Nestlé Pakistan Dairy Supply Chain
Development Project’ has been signed between the International
Finance Corporation and Nestlé Pakistan for the capacity building of
the dairy development team and commercial dairy farmers leading
to improved milk quantity and quality.

UNITED FOR HEALTHIER KIDS

‘UNITED FOR HEALTHIER KIDS’ was launched internally in the presence of
Marco Settembri (CEO and Chairman Nestlé Waters). The objective was to
galvanise the movement internally, build ambassadors and lead change.
Managing Director Bruno Olierhoek inaugurated the activity and explained
the importance of ‘UNITED FOR HEALTHIER KIDS’ in Pakistan’s context.

launching NQ Zone in Sheikhupura Factory, within
the main cafeteria. The objective was to reinforce
