"As I prepared for my third natural home birth, I now understood the importance of having a birth plan and a strong support team. Doula Mommy "I really enjoyed the Childbirth Education Class, "Breastfeeding & Your Baby's Cues". This is something all parents should take when expecting." -Happy Mommy

To see that every infant has the opportunity for good health and positive early learning experiences that unfold within strong family relationships

When I joined Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition (IRCHSC) seven years ago, I knew serving this organization was exactly where I needed to be. I value motherhood and it was, and still is my passion to continue to develop and grow Healthy Start services to reach every family in our community. In partnership with an outstanding Board of Directors and IRCHSC team, we expanded our programming to ensure families are supported, connected, and cared for from pregnancy and beyond. We have tripled our budget by deepening philanthropy, creating multiple revenue streams and building a renowned G.R.O.W. (Guidance. Resource. Openhearted. Wisdom.) Doula program that has been licensed and implemented throughout the state of Florida. We have taken significant steps to achieve the Healthy Start mission and vision. With IRCHSC at its strongest, historically, I will be transitioning out to focus on my own family. Although it is difficult to leave, it is the right time to step away and allow the next leader, Mrs. Megan McFall, to catapult Indian River County Healthy Start to the next level. Megan is a proven leader with a passion for Maternal and Child Health. She has accomplished remarkable things in her many roles at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and will now bring her extraordinary talents to our organization. "IRC Healthy Start Coalition’s mission of supporting a local system that will optimize the health of our most vulnerable population is one of the many reasons I am so excited to lead this organization. My passion for women and children and desire to give back started in 1998 with my first pregnancy. I knew that I had to be a part of a system that invested so much into my wellbeing. Working collaboratively together as a community has the ability to change the footprint of care delivered to women and children. I am excited to strengthen the current relationships that have been built and work with the talented team and Board to embark on uncharted waters. Together we will be able to accomplish so much. Thank you for entrusting me with this role." - Megan Mcfall, B.Ed., RN, IRC Incoming Chief Executive Officer I will be working closely with Megan to ensure a smooth transition for our team, Board of Directors and community partners. I am beyond thankful for the relationships built in and out of this amazing organization. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart with our community. Chief Executive Officer, Andrea Berry, MNM
