Introduction (virtual Trip)

In this travelogue, I will tell you about my experiences and travels during
my virtual tour in the area near my house. I have visited 3 places during

my virtual tour. It is included at Holiday Villa Resort Cherating. Here is
where I and my friends as many as 3 people stayed for 1 day 1 night.
Next, I made a warung Cherating it is near my house as a place for me
to buy breakfast food. Meanwhile, the last destination is where I have
breakfast which is on Cherating Beach. The Cherating beach I have
been to is close to Holiday Villa Resort Cherating. On this beach, I will

tell you about a little bit of the uniqueness found here.

Task Description

I have already carried out this virtual tour activity for 2
days 1 night. All that can be said is, I have done some
tasks while doing virtual tour activities such as taking
footage of the facilities available at the Resort. I have
also taken the important contents of the Resort and
recorded it on the phone. Similarly on Cherating Beach, I
have already recorded the atmosphere on the beach

and told about its beauty.

ACTIVITIES/TRIP AT HOLIDAY
VILLA RESORT CHERATING

This is the first destination for me to do virtual tour activities. On
November 7, 2020, I have stayed at one of the resorts available in
Cherating, namely Holiday Villa Resort Cherating. I stayed with 3
other friends for 1 day 1 night only. We pay for accommodation by
sharing an estimated amount of RM 125.80 per person. We went
and made a reservation at the Resort at 12:00 noon. After booking a
Family suite room, we proceeded to room 115. During our visit there
were many beautiful sights around the Resort.

Therefore, I have already made a virtual tour by recording the
facilities available at the Resort. I did this virtual tour by recording
only the facilities available at this Resort. The recording session was
done at noon after eating and praying. I only do this recording alone
in the afternoon as my friends are relaxing.

Since we had already brought a package of lunch from home, we
only enjoyed lunch in the room.

In the evening , we started bathing in the pool and on the beach
Cherating as the beach is facing the Resort. We do this activity after
enjoying the tea that has been prepared at the hotel and after
prayers.
On the way I went down to the pool and the beach. I also had time to
record facilities such as gymnasium and surau that have been
provided at the Resort.

After finish that , we returned to the room at 7:00 pm to prepare
ourselves and perform prayers first. After that we had dinner at the
Cafe available at the Resort. The fee is only RM 15 per person for the
dinner package. We are also lucky because it has been served with
luxury food at a reasonable price as on other days the package for
dinner here is around the estimated price of RM 30-50 per person.

After dinner, we returned to the room for prayers and a rest
session at 9-10 pm. We started sleeping at 11pm due to difficulty
sleeping. We enjoy watching television together because this is an
activity we rarely do together.

For the next day, we did not enjoy breakfast together at the Resort
as we decided to check out the room early. We continued to return
to own homes and had our own breakfast at their respective homes.

ABOUT WARUNG CHERATING

This Warung Cherating was first established in 2013. This stall is
located in Cherating Damai Village.

This stall only sells breakfast food and only operates in the morning
from 07:00 to 11:00.

Residents of Cherating Damai village will buy breakfast here. With
reasonable prices and cheap, food in this stall is usually sold out early
before 11:00 am.

Although this stall is not known to many people but a variety of
breakfast dishes have been prepared.

TRIP AT WARUNG CHERATING

I categorized this stall as part of a trip destination because I bought a
package of breakfast food to eat on the beach.

On the next day, After returning from a stay at Holiday Villa Resort, I
continued my virtual tour activities by buying food first here. at this time
I was with only 1 person of my friend where he was one of those who
went on vacation at the Resort. Due to the fact that only 1 of my friends
can continue this virtual trip, I only use a motorcycle to go to this
Warung Cherating as it is very close to my house. I went to the stall at
about 9:00 in the morning. In this stall there are many types of
breakfast dishes with cheap prices. Many types of food can be
obtained for only RM10.

I made the choice to pack food and did not continue to eat at the stall
as there was a slight shortage in terms of the dining table facilities
provided were inadequate. Because of that, I plan to enjoy breakfast on
the beach as usual during the holidays I like to have breakfast on the
beach with friends because it is a fun and more like to spend time
together.

Cherating Beach (near Holiday Villa Resort

ABOUT CHERATING
BEACH

Cherating Beach is located near the city of Kuantan, Pahang,
Malaysia, is a popular picnic spot.

Cherating has been developed from a small town to a famous
beach and a tourist favorite. There are turtles laying eggs here.

Restaurant facilities, swaying coconut trees, beaches, wide and
green sea can be found here. Asia’s first Mediterranean club is

also nearby. Cherating beach is also famous for its surfing
activities and is often the focus of western tourists to come here.

Trip at Cherating Beach

On November 8, 2020, when I get here I will record the atmosphere
around the beach. My activity here is by describing the uniqueness
found on this beach.

Before starting the activity, I will enjoy breakfast that has been
purchased at Warung Cherating. With a beautiful and interesting
scenery I have already made a short video about food review. The food
is Nasi lemak that has been bought. Nasi lemak in this stall has its own
taste and is delicious to eat.

After breakfast, I continued my last virtual tour activities by going to
the beach. Here I have told a little about the uniqueness of this beach.

I took less than 30 minutes to do the recording activity here.
visitors who come to this beach usually nearby residents, tourists

from other states as well as some people from overseas.However,
at the moment the number of tourist arrivals to the Beach is
slightly declining due to the growing covid-19 issue. The
government had to implement the CMCO in Peninsular Malaysia
which is the main reason tourists can not travel.

The main contributor to the presence of many tourists to this
beach is due to the resorts and hotels close to the beach. It is
undeniable that visitors staying at resorts and hotels will go to the
beach in the afternoon. The day that most tourists come here is on
Saturday because today is a public holiday for school students as
well as some working parents.

Various activities can be done along this beach. Some tourists
will fill their free time here with various activities.

Once I had enough information, I decided to back home again at
11am. So with that my whole virtual tour activity ended.

The beauty of nature
We do not seem to believe in the beauty of nature there
which is filled with many green plants.

Luxury food
The food provided at the cafe is very luxurious and there are
many options.

Good service
The staff at the front office of the hotel are very friendly and
serve customers well.

3 NEGATIVE UNEXPECTED EVENT OF MY TOUR

Unpredictable weather
Uncertain weather such as heavy rain and lightning in the
morning.

The price offered is expensive
The desired resort room is too expensive and does not comply
with my own taste.

Not feeling well
I feel uncomfortable and have a fever while doing the recording.

SUMMARY

In my virtual trip activities, I have learned a lot of
new things. Experience as well as fun and being
able to spend time with friends is a very valuable
experience.
In this travelogue, I have narrated the whole of all
the activities that have been done during this short
trip and it is hoped that with this explanation can
stimulate more tourists to come.
