“Let noble thoughts come to us from every side”
- Rigveda
Kulapati Munshi Bhavan's Vidya Mandir
•Namaste! Editor's Desk
Bhavana Mayukha (Rays of Bhavan’s) Volume 1 is a dedication to the ever supportive and cheerful
teaching faculty of Kulapati Munshi Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, irrespective of the class and
category. The tireless effort of each one of them enabled all children to raise our flag to fly sky
high.
Having transplanted from a culture of publishing Newsletter, I used to feel the gap at
KMBVM. Many attempts and trials couldn’t find success for different reasons. As giving up is not a
solution for anything, the dream was kept alive for 7 years. Thanks to the pandemic, the situation
was very supportive to convert the kindling dream to a flame to emit its rays. The Newsletter took
shape in a modern version.
On this auspicious day of Vijayadashami, we submit Bhavana Mayukha, Volume 1, The success
story of the academic year 2019 - 2020 at the feet of Almighty with a prayer to keep us and our
children always on the right track.
Year by year our children make us feel more proud. Nurturing the students to grow as the
true assets of our country is our primary responsibility. Through this we gain the satisfaction of the
parents who trusted us to mould their next generation.
The unconditional support extended by the most gracious and generous Management Team of
Bhavan’s Thrissur needs grateful mention here.
Special words of heartfelt appreciation to the duo, Lakshmi Nair and Ligi Thomas who extended
their heart and hands to shape this publication.
Dear teachers, let me remind you, “The reward for good work is more work”! So let’s
wholeheartedly accept the bigger challenges and responsibilities reaching us!
Thank you all!
Anila Mechur Jayachandran
Principal
Respected management ,Principal , teachers and staff , parents and dear
students .
I hope you and your families are keeping safe during this pandemic.
2020 has been unexpected and challenging to all of us. Finding new ways to
do routine work has been the most challenging part we all have had to face
. Nevertheless , I would like to express my gratitude to everyone one of you
for doing your part and helping us get through this year together.
Firstly I would like to make a proud mention of our outgoing students of the
year 2019 , who have performed well in their exams and have brought
laurels to the school . I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the
management and teachers, to congratulate the students of batch 2019 and
wish them all a bright future ahead !
The Covid pandemic has changed the entire outlook of all educational
Institutions . The teachers and students are deprived of the personal
interactions and have made the switch over to online classes. The children
are deprived of their playtime with friends, interactive learning time and
precious moments to forge bonds of friendship .Parents and working
couples have to balance not only work and household duties, but also be the
teachers to their children and engage them productively at home . We have
also not been able to conduct any school competitions to showcase the
talents of our students.
However , we all must remain optimistic and learn to adapt to the new situation .
Our Principal and our team of teachers strongly feel that this is a good time to
start a newsletter to keep students and parents updated with the school activities
.We are enthusiastic that a dedicated school newsletter will keep all of us up- to-
date and engage interested students and parents in a variety of school activities.
Communication is the key to make it work and we seek your support to make this
happen. Let this be the perfect way to reach out to all who are a part of the
BVB family .
In the words of the great Charles Darwin- It is not the strongest of the species that
survived , nor the most intelligent. It is the one that is most adaptable to change .
Let us all make intelligent and smart choices and adapt to this new situation life
has thrown at us . Let us continue showing a bright future for our children in every
small way we can think of .
Thank you and best regards
TS Pattabhiraman

Hoping and wishing everyone good health!
This pandemic has made all of us think out of the box to
bring out and carry forward our work effectively. It has also
become the platform for the realization of a long cherished
dream of a school newsletter.
The newsletter will help all of us keep in touch with the
activities being conducted in the school on a regular basis. I
appreciate the principal vice principal and the teachers for
this venture which is eco-friendly, economical and has a wide
reach. Let me remind you as Thomas fuller said “all things are
difficult before they are easy.” I sincerely wish team KMBVM
success in their endeavor.
It is indeed a great pleasure to see that the very first
volume of the newsletter showcases the illustrious
achievements of our students in both 12th and 10th board
examinations. Let me take this opportunity to congratulate
both the students and their teachers on this glorious
performance.
K P Achuthan
Hon. Secretary
I am delighted to understand that KMBVM Pottore is
bringing out a newsletter on the auspicious day of
Vijayadashami .It is admirable in every respect and
believe that it could facilitate free flow of communication
between the four pillars of our institution ---the students,
teachers, parents and management.
Our Motto itself is "Let noble thoughts come to us from
every side" and our Bhavana Mayukha should strive to
uphold our mission and vision. In the present scenario
where there is explosion of news / messages it is
absolutely necessary to have our own newsletter to share
the information among us.
I wish every success to this noble venture!
