Meet the Staff: Who is West Side Story

he West Side Story newspaper comes out every month for the halls of the Trojan Nation to read. The paper consists of

paper does not write itself though. It consists of many staff members apart of West High who come out with a paper each

Webber, sophomore, has really enjoyed his time on the staff. Webber decided to join
the staff because he wanted to try out “something new.” He hopes to gain better socializ-
ing skills while his time here. In fifteen years, Webber hopes to be working for NASA as an
engineer or as a federal agent. His time here at West High has helped him grow as a person
and he has gained many more valuable friendships. Webber has two step siblings and one
sister. He enjoys to game during his free time when he is not busy doing homework or help-
ing his family around the house. Webber is very comical and brings a lot of laughs to the
classroom. While watching his favorite movie “Ender-games,” he enjoys a bowl of chicken.
Irving Flores, senior, is also trying out the newspaper class for this first time. Flores,
first decided to join the staff because his friends highly encourage the class. He en-
joys to write and likes expressing himself through his writings. Ricardo does not only
write, he is a runner. He runs track and cross country for West High. In addition,
Flores has many accomplishments like being apart of the top seven male cross coun-
try runners for the school. In fifteen years from now, he plans on working as a soft-
ware engineer. Aside from running, he enjoys eating. Chick-Fil-A is one of his favor-
ite spots to enjoy a quick meal. Flores will spend his free time with his younger sister,
Mayri Flores, and his two dogs, Marley and Blanco. As a senior, Ricardo has real-
ly enjoyed his time at West, but he is very eager to start a new chapter is his life, college.
